here are some excerpts from various Hopi prophesy reports/interpretations on-line:

from dreamscape.com

This Hopi ceremonial rattle represents Mother Earth. The line running around it is a time line and indicates that we are in the final days of the prophecy. What have you, as individuals, as nations and as the world body been doing to take care of this Earth? In the Earth today, humans poison their own food, water and air with pollution. Many of us, including children, are left to starve. Many wars are still being fought. Greed and concern for material things is a common disease. In this western hemisphere, our homeland, many original native people are landless, homeless, starving and have no medical help.

also from that page:

It is also prophesied that, if these three fail to fulfill their mission, then the one from the west will come like a big storm. He will be many in numbers and unmerciful. When he comes he will cover the land like the red ants and overtake this land in one day. If the three helpers chosen by the Creator fulfill their sacred mission, and even if there are only one, two, or three of the true Hopi who remain holding fast to the last ancient teaching and instructions the Great Spirit, Massauu will appear before all, and our would will be saved. The three will lay our a new life plan which leads to everlasting life and peace. The earth will become new as it was from the beginning. Flowers will bloom again, wild game will return to barren lands, and there will be abundance of food for all. Those who are saved will share everything equally and they all will recognize Great Spirit and speak one language.

but it is the next one that is important to the topic of this thread.

again, from dreamscape.com:

"Industrialized nations will become careless in getting more the resources out of the earth. Believing all these things will last forever, soon natural resources will be depleted. Fuel shortages will occur; industrial machinery will come to a standstill. The machinery used for planting, harvesting and transport will become useless. Supermarket shelves will become empty of farm produce. The farmers and those who grow their own food will not sell their produce. Money will become worthless. The white man with all his intelligence and technology will not be able to repair the damage. We will see extraordinary events in Nature and Earth, including humans.

"Modern man looks upon old wisdom and knowledge as dead, useless and no longer respected. Modern man depends on the money system and no longer on Mother Earth for food. According to prophecy when this happens Mother Earth will hide her nourishment because of the view that ancient food is poor man's food. When all food disappears, modern man will try to correct his mistake, the conditions he caused upon the earth through his inventions. He will try to achieve some kind of method to heal the wound, but this will not be possible when we reach the point of no return.

someone on this thread mentioned how the food lately just seems to be lacking something.
i agree.
i also know that our main problem, with nutrition and also many diseases such as diabetes, is that we are fighting AGAINST nature and in the process, hurting her as well as ourselves.
she can recover and if she does, we will too
but we might not recover if we wait too long
then we will be gone and she will still recover.

the people that lived on this continent before the Europeans arrived already knew so much of that which we are barely waking up to.

we must work WITH our Mother and her natural forces.
we must care for her so that she can care for us.

Again, this is all scaremongering. To wit:

The controversy over the Codex Alimentarius relates to a perception that it is a mandatory standard for food - including vitamin and mineral supplement - safety. Supporters of the Codex Alimentarius say that it is a voluntary reference standard for food and that there is no obligation on countries to adopt Codex standards as a member of either Codex or any other international trade organization. From the point of view of its opponents, however, one of the main causes of concern is that the Codex Alimentarius is recognized by the World Trade Organization as an international reference standard for the resolution of disputes concerning food safety and consumer protection.[2][3] Proponents argue that the use of Codex Alimentarius during international disputes does not exclude the use of other references or scientific studies as evidence of food safety and consumer protection.

The reply fulfilling the appropriate level of decorum to your post would appear to be 'Balls'.

Thankfully you are vastly outnumbered on this thread and that gives me hope.

It would appear that you do fail to understand the long term process of gradual acclimatation that these powers use. Today it's controlling vitamins and supplements, tomorrow it's forbiding you from brewing nettle tea from your own garden and making it illegal to grow anything by youselves.

This is a massive problem in the real world of sheeple but I'm surprised to sea it so often on ATS. NOTHING is done for one reason only, and NOTHING done is the end goal, but merely a stepping stone along a long path. It's sad that you can't see this but I lose no sleep over it because the more of you in the world the higher my chances are of survuval.

These NWO projects are open-ended, they mutate and multiply as the need arises and develop into beasts far greater than the fluffy little innocent bunnies they began on.

Not positve if anyone has brought up Dr. Rima E. Laibow MD Medical Director? She is cautioning people on this and I guess has been for a while.

somewhat recent video:
www.youtube.com...

Sorry couldn't upload video but check it out.
She brings up some interesting info.

You can also google her name and check out her credentials.

Again sorry if she has already been brought up. I agree that this codex alimentarious has been in use for a while, and from what I ca tell is not something people should just brush away, there should be no reason for the way they are regulating our food, and for people who are being rude towards other members of this site just trying to shed some light on codex alimentarious subject, which seems rediculous to me, lay off, there's nothing wrong with trying to answer some needed questions.

My opinion is if you think it's a hoax or NOT that big of a deal, leave.

Maybe I find this of little concern cause I am fully prepared for the food crisis. nevertheless, live smart. It is and has been for a few years to live in a survival mode.Trust not in your government, for they care not for you.

Nutrition major?

Than surly you know that being a vegetarian is one of the most unhealthiest things do do in your life?

If you don't get vitamin K subsidies, usually in the form of an injection you will have mood swings like a schizophrenic woman going through menopause.

Eat real meat, butter and fat along with vegetables. This will help brake down the omega 3 in fish so it can be digested into your body.

Also watch out for chronic bad breath.

Interesting consiering I haven yet to see one of my vegitarian friends lose their mind in the slightest...rather I see them as much healthier than I. This codex discusses labelling...I am all for that. Let's me know what is in food...yikes. Yet it still doesn't take nutrients or vitamins out of food

this it to REGULATE SUPPLEMENTS! As in GNC pills and the like. It is telling you how much is the maximum and minimum levels allowed in supplements...not food

Well unless you subsist only on supplements

This is talking about setting what can be toxic levels of vitamins such as C

If you truly don't think vitamins can be toxic by all means pick up a bottle of Vit C and down the whole thing...

The last time I took too much Vit C I had horrific nausease and diarrhea which in turn left me dehydrated. This was with a small amount like 2 grams of the supplement.

As with...I dunno...like 99.9% of predictions on this site...I am not concerned. Methinks people have read deeply into this...or maybethey are reading TOO deeply

I first became aware of the CODEX Alimentarius in the late 90s. I was alarmed too. But no one except for a few people seemed alarmed by it. But here's something you might like to read on the subject/ Just to note: The "Food Code" formally established in 1962.

So is there a link to some type of legislation about this?
I can't seem to find any -- All I see is sillyness

Can someone link me to the legislation that will be passed?
The bill or decree or whatever your going to call it . . . I need to see that.

www.fao.org...
Look through their publications.
I think this is just scartactics

This is their goals on the website
* Influence public policies and promote access to a variety of nutritious foods.
* Increase knowledge of the nutritional value of foods.
* Influence behaviors, attitudes and beliefs.
* Develop personal skills and motivation to adopt healthy eating practices.

So your saying its going to do a 180?

Take a look at some of the articles on there.

Since naturally occuring sugars, vitamins, an minerals cannot be altered, or broken down, I believe that starving us is not the case. But in reaity, it is an attempt for money that many nations are in need of it. One should just eat naturally occuring food more often to receive necessary vitamins.

Really, what can they do to stop people from getting vitamins?

So if they were to somehow remove all godness from processed foods and say "hey you want vitamins, you gotto buy the stuff we say you can have", lol

How they gunna stop people like me in the bush from going out and collecting wild fruit and veg, seeds and game meat?

They gunna make it illegal to hunt or collect from the wild? They gunns go round and inject every wild animal & plant on the planet?

Gimme a break, nobody can restrict anyone on what kind of diet they have, not even a powerful government/corperate body.

I'd love to see a bunch of black suits come onto my property and dig up, destroy my native/wild crops and make me plant their seeds and I'd love to see em try and stop me from eating wild game...

A big lololololol.

silly europeans, this will teach the WHO why you dont name anything "codex" people take it way out of context. they should have just called it the international standard on food practices. look the "elites" and WHO dont need to deplete nutrients from food unaturally for us to kill our selves through vitamin and nutrient depletion, we are already doing it our self!!! honestly think back the past month and how many mcdonalds hambergurs vs oranges have you ate... i highly doubt you ate more oranges then fast food stops. how many apples have you had vs 1oz alcoholic drinks? etc etc. trust me we dont need help we are doing a good job killiing ourselves by our selves.

this whole story is the question of chicken or the egg. did pharmacutical companies conspire to make us eat garbage, or did we eat a bunch of garbage like pigs and now need drugs from the pharmacudical companies?

from here on out lets all play a little drinking game, every time you say in your head the word codex, drink a glass of orange juice and a small salad without a ton of ranch (splash of olive oil at best) even if you get full every time you say it eat that. i bet your whole life you wont have to worry about codexes

Water ??

Cant use the water on her Property.

Who owns Colorado's rainwater?
Environmentalists and others like to gather it in containers for use in drier times. But state law says it belongs to those who bought the rights to waterways.

But according to the state of Colorado, the rain that falls on Holstrom's property is not hers to keep. It should be allowed to fall to the ground and flow unimpeded into surrounding creeks and streams, the law states, to become the property of farmers, ranchers, developers and water agencies that have bought the rights to those waterways.

What Holstrom does is called rainwater harvesting. It's a practice that dates back to the dawn of civilization, and is increasingly in vogue among environmentalists and others who pursue sustainable lifestyles. They collect varying amounts of water, depending on the rainfall and the vessels they collect it in. The only risk involved is losing it to evaporation. Or running afoul of Western states' water laws.

Those laws, some of them more than a century old, have governed the development of the region since pioneer days.

"If you try to collect rainwater, well, that water really belongs to someone else," said Doug Kemper, executive director of the Colorado Water Congress. "We get into a very detailed accounting on every little drop."

Frank Jaeger of the Parker Water and Sanitation District, on the arid foothills south of Denver, sees water harvesting as an insidious attempt to take water from entities that have paid dearly for the resource.

"Every drop of water that comes down keeps the ground wet and helps the flow of the river," Jaeger said. He scoffs at arguments that harvesters like Holstrom only take a few drops from rivers. "Everything always starts with one little bite at a time."

Increasingly, however, states are trying to make the practice more welcome. Bills in Colorado and Utah, two states that have limited harvesting over the years, would adjust their laws to allow it in certain scenarios, over the protest of people like Jaeger.

Think about it, if you get jail time for collecting water which belongs to all of us, you are pretty screwed if you can't get water from else where !!

I just want to ask, for all those who looked at the CAC website and didn't find any evidence that the deliberate starvation of a large proportion of the human population is planned, uh, were you really expecting to? If there really was a vast, NWO plot, do you think they would publicise that fact? You ask for hard evidence, but if there were hard evidence, then this would not be a conspiracy theory but a known attack and the whole game would be up. Evidence can be (and I and other NWOers believe is regularly) suppressed and distorted. Of course those in power wouldn't leave evidence of their future crimes around for anyone to find.

Don't forget, the evidence of all atrocities is hidden from the general population of Earth until after the event, with only those committing the crimes and top-level intelligence and government officials in other countries knowing anything of it. Don't believe me, just look at the history of the Holocaust, Japanese internment camps in the US and German internment camps in the UK, the full extent of the Khmer Rouge's genocide, 'Rendition' flights across the globe and secret 'Rendition' centres in Eastern Europe, to name just a few.

Frankly, our governments and international organisations cannot be trusted, and just because they don't officially confess to schemes of world domination doesn't mean they're not actively pursuing such goals. Lack of evidence here is because that evidence is suppressed to ensure the NWO (for instance, that's just my personal bugbear, but put your own conspiracy theory here) can continue their plans unimpeded.

I already know that that won't be a satisfactory point of view to most of the inveterate debunkers on here, but it's as non-falsifiable as it is non-verifiable, so still you can't discount it 100% - no matter how unlikely you think it is, you can not dismiss it as impossible. You just happen to think it unlikely, whilst I and other NWOers think it more than likely. Indeed, I personally look at the world today and think the NWO are closer than ever to achieving their pretty evil goals and that we should be actively engaging and trying to prevent them, but I feel impotent as to how this can be accomplished.

Finally, to sum up everything here: of course the official website of Codex Alimentarius doesn't publicly announce its designs to starve the third-world population, that would be ridiculous. That is a no-brainer. That doesn't mean there aren't secret plans though.

Can someone just refer me to the bit in the Codex where it says growing your own food will be banned? This is so not true. You are all just like a bunch of sheep - 'OMG the sky is falling!'
Talk about a bunch of scare-wussies...
Don't believe everything you read on conspiracy sites or indeed put out by the laughingly named 'natural' food INDUSTRY.

No, I am sorry, but I cannot find that anywhere - perhaps someone who made that claim can show us where that is stated?

Oh, I just thought of something - do you think that they just made that claim up?

I agree...I looked at some of this so called documentation and it is all about supplements...PILLS! not food

So let's ask together...can someone here please show where you get the actual documentation. Don't give me another link about what Joe Blow thinks...I want to see the actual paperwork where people first got the idea that Codex is going to kill us all.

The problem is this whole thing started because of some documentation and yet I haven't seen the official words that people seem to be worrying about

I have however seen alot of what people THINK the Codex is saying and thus far all I see is that the Codex deals with supplements...if that is the case then what are you worried about? They might mess with pills but the last I checked pills do not equal food

...waiting patiently
