I am quite surprised by how many posters support population control. My guess would be that a great many of these people champion their own rights but, are very willing to throw their neighbors rights into a lake somewhere. If a new world order is truly in the making, many will willing go along with it because some of the ideologies are similar to their current ideologies ( no regards to how their ideas may change with age and maturity). Hitler had no shortage of easily manipulated followers for his cause, either.

Mmmm. Don't plants use CO2 as a source of nutrition? Is this not the same group of people that were recently trying to save the trees?

the cake is only so big, no matter what way you slice it, if there are too many people, there isn't enough cake to satisfy them all. the morality of population control totally depends on what you mean by population control. there are a few reasons why people choose to have the size families they do. the two biggies in my book are,

the rights of women. in almost every case, where a woman is given education and free choice, they have less than 5 children, usually 1-3. where there are slimeball idiots telling them it is evil to have sex for reasons other than procreation, forcing them to have children, they tend to have lots.

poor people tend to have bigger families in countries where child labour laws are lax. if children can work to support the family, people have lots of them.

women should have education and a choice about how many children they have, children shouldn't be forced to work, if these morally positive goals are reached, there is almost always a decline in population through natural means. this is less controling than telling people they should have a child every time they have sex.

^There is no need for population control, because the world's population IS beginning to stabilize. The growth rate has slowed significantly since the '80s. I can't see it getting much higher than 10 billion.

neither can i but i fear that the reason it'll stabilise at 10 billion is because so many will die appalling deaths. if with could ethically reduce the population to 4-5 billion and sabilise it there, we'ld be in a much happier position.

I personaly cant stand this kind of talk or thinking from the powermongers. They havent figured out that they could afford to populate all the least habitable places on the planet if they would just spend on tech not war, and on infrastructural advancements rather than state dinners , posh cars, and helicopter rides to work.
We could all live in sweet chilled out peace , if we just stopped with the money obsession that we have in the west, if we stopped living on credit , and if we start letting the earth sustain us once again then none of this would be even public.

I'll pick up on one point because most people here only need a little reminder: The taxing of every financial transaction is a proposed method (Tobin Tax) to raise funds to finance a future bank crash recovery and to provide funds for third world development. The tax is on the BANKS and FINANCE INSTITUTIONS which make billions and expect the tax payer to effectively insure them. Note how they have made BILLIONS OF PROFIT whilst the rest of the economy (that they crashed) is still suffering.

Heard the Speech on CNN Newsroom just about 1 week ago that stated just this. The Part of the Article that goes on about how the greatest danger etc etc ...... Pretty sad if you ask me.

It is fascinating how that little bit of information is forgotten by the masses.

Perhaps we should bring it forward in every thread that deals with how unfair the government is when it tries to makes changes for the better.

In my opinion the only TRUE conspiracy lies not in the governments hiding aliens and presidents lying about cigars and their alternative uses, but in how the big money manages to manipulate the masses to fight their fight against any attempts to regulate this unjust system.

People act like we are living in a soylent green society. It seems we have a perfect storm of fabricated crisis that these people are using to try and implement their plan.

They all need to be killed off and those that would support such ideals such as forcing others into the ovens should be killed too.

western nations pretty much had population growth under control (until the big govt/big business left wing masters decided that we needed immigration which increased our populations along with higher birth rates amongst new immigrants)

The only nations that need to start trying to cut down their population growth are nations such as those in sub saharan africa which have trouble feeding themselves now

For crying out loud people do you not understand what it means to DEPOPULATE the world?...

We have had several threads showing evidence that this is what these globalists want, and sorry to say just because someone, or a couple of people "CLAIM" "this is just lunacy" or "noone is talking about killing people" we are not just going to dismiss all the evidence and facts which refute your claims. This shows it is obvious neither of you have bothered to research this topic.

The fact that part of what this treaty is trying to do is "to find methods to sequester atmospheric CO2" that in itself will cause MASSIVE STARVATION, because with lower levels of atmospheric CO2 it is a fact that there are less productive, and fewer harvests.... and yes this is a method to "kill off the undesirables" that the Globalist Socialist/Liberal/Progressive elites have been talking about....

For crying out loud we even have had their official statements show that these people want to use several methods to depopulate the world....

Did you ever think it is possible they allowed so much immigration just so their globalist plan of "depopulation" could be implemented also in western cities?

Just allow immigration, illegal immigrants who have 5-15 children go to western countries, causing a problem of too many people, and then present the "solution' to 'depopulate the entire world"....

Is that why there are so many research papers in the UN, done by Liberal/Socialist professors, and scientists who advocate world depopulation, the dissolution of all Middle Classes around the world, and the redistribution of wealth from western countries, to developing countries making everyone "equal", which in reality means "everyone, except the elites, being equally poor"?.... Among other things...

Richard Sandbrook, Closing the Circle: Democratization and Development in Africa, Zed Books limited, London, 2000.

A 1991 policy paper prepared for the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) by self-described ‘ecosocioeconomist’ professor Ignacy Sachs outlines a strategy for the transfer of wealth in name of the environment to be implemented in the course of 35 to 40 years. As it turns out, it is a visionary paper describing phase by phase the road to world dictatorship. As the professor states in the paper:

“To be meaningful, the strategies should cover the time-span of several decades. Thirty-five to forty years seems a good compromise between the need to give enough time to the postulated transformations and the uncertainties brought about by the lengthening of the time-span.“

In his paper “The Next 40 Years: Transition Strategies to the Virtuous Green Path: North/South/East/Global“, Sachs accurately describes not only the intended time-span to bring about a global society, but also what steps should be taken to ensure “population stabilization”:

“In order to stabilize the populations of the South by means other than wars or epidemics, mere campaigning for birth control and distributing of contraceptives has proved fairly inefficient.“

In the first part of the (in retrospect) bizarrely accurate description of the years to come, Sachs points out redistribution of wealth is the only viable path towards population stabilization and- as he calls it- a “virtuous green world”. The professor:

“The way out from the double bind of poverty and environmental disruption calls for a fairly long period of more economic growth to sustain the transition strategies towards the virtuous green path of what has been called in Stockholm ecodevelopement and has since changed its name in Anglo-Saxon countries to sustainable development.”

“(…) a fair degree of agreement seems to exist, therefore, about the ideal development path to be followed so long as we do not manage to stabilize the world population and, at the same time, sharply reduce the inequalities prevailing today.”

“The bolder the steps taken in the near future”, Sachs asserts, “the shorter will be the time span that separates us from a steady state. Radical solutions must address to the roots of the problem and not to its symptoms. Theoretically, the transition could be made shorter by measures of redistribution of assets and income.”

Sachs points to the political difficulties of such proposals being implemented (because free humanity tends to distrust any national government let alone transnational government to redistribute its well-earned wealth). He therefore proposes these measures to be implemented gradually, following a meticulously planned strategy:

“The pragmatic prospect is one of transition extending itself over several decades.”

In the second sub-chapter “The Five Dimensions of Ecodevelopment”, professor Sachs sums up the main dimensions of this carefully outlined move to make Agenda 21 a very real future prospect. The first dimension he touches upon is “Social Sustainability“:

“The aim is to build a civilization of being within greater equity in asset and income distribution, so as to improve substantially the entitlements of the broad masses of population and of reduce the gap in standards of living between the have and the have nots.”

They made the AGW claims a "popular movement", and they claim "we must act now"....

They caused the economic crisis, and they also gave the task to certain people like Mann, JOnes, et al to "create" and "rig" the data that would substantiate their claims that "there is need for urgent action on Climate Change, and for globalization to occur so we can work as one"....

Sorry to say it needs to happen, or we need a cap on birth like in China. It is getting way to crowded here. I was wondering with the new technological advances or the secret technologies everyone says the government has why not put together a massive space exploration program. With the founding of the new planet 1214b or whatever it was. Put signups or drafts for large spaceships to get put on that course and send us! I would volunteer!
