Tiger woods and this rubbish all over the news, and what it says about people

I have not watched one second of this rubbish about tiger woods, but i can imagine there has been endless shows and news reports on this guy now. Lets see for what.

Oh yep, he had sex with females.

So we have a world where all these people are dying, and america obsesses about a man having sex with some females.

What does this say about america, and most other countries as well. Your thoughts on why people need this rubbish broadcast into there homes, about a bloke having sex with a female, or many females.

So what reasons do you feel the need to watch this rubbish and society needs to have to go into this mans life, for your peoples satisfaction.

But Andy, it makes such a nice smokescreen so that people don't notice the mainstream media's total lack of coverage of the Global Warming scam.

You have to wonder one thing. If Tiger would have gone along with Obama instead of staying out of the political spotlight, would the attack dogs of the MSM have come after him like they did?

Ah, yes, it is rubbish.

Some people eat this sort of news up, because they like to see a person worse off than they are.

Some people just love gossip, good or bad.

Some people are making money off of this rubbish!

Some people like to see famous people fall. They are up on a pedestal, so when they fall, it seems they can sink lower than the average person.

The list could go on and on!

Curious though, that you make a thread about it, but have not followed along! Doesn't that make you part of the problem you are complaining about?

My own personal opinion is (since you asked) it isn't so much that he had sex with a female, or lots of females. He had sex with other females while being married.

If you can't be true to the person you marry, then don't get married, or have the decency to end one relationship before you begin another.

I personaly think that whatever Tiger Woods has done is between him and his wife. The only thing about this that keeps me semi interested is the number of women coming out of the woodwork. I've actually lost count. Last I heard it was between 7 and 11. If he had of become political and openly supported Obama, major news would have come after him harder, and tried to connect Obama to Tigers infidelities. But again it's a personal matter between Tiger and his wife. I don't understand how he thought he wouldn't get caught. It's hard enough to keep one affair secret let alone 10.

It makes me suspicious that the women coming out of the woodwork are perhaps not all telling the truth. Mainly because if there were so many, you would imagine one of them would have blown his cover prior to now. I agree, it is between him and his wife and I can't believe it is still getting news coverage. I mean really, it's none of our business. I think what it says about us is that people love to see someone who they perceive as "having more" than they do fall off the pedestal. I think they feel like, "oh he got his now". It's sad that people want to see other people fail. I guess misery does love company.

I agree with your assessment that the Tiger Woods fiasco is complete rubbish and utterly irrelevant to Earth Civilization. ( In any aspect even the golf aspect).

Now if Tiger broke his arm and couldn't play anymore, I can see this being relevant on ESPN or whatever.

But yes, the Tiger circus is indeed a obvious smoke screen. It not only conveniently takes space away from Copenhagen, but it also distracts the public from countless other pertinent issues.

Just about anything is more important than the drivel they spill around the world as is showcased in this particular thread.

We have famines, pestilences, wars, economic insanity, etc etc.

Just about any irrelevant celebrity gossip falls under this category sadly.

Make your millions on the media, expect the media to continue the relationship.

You have no expectation of privacy when screwing a series of wanna-be actors, journalists, agents, hangers-on and porn stars.

The other people involved totally have rights to talk about their lives. Anytime, anywhere, in any manner. They are not property of the person who screwed them. His rights do not supercede theirs. Nor are they the property of the woman he married.

Purchase affections. Purchasing quiet is a whole other price scale - one that tends to be scalar in nature.

Something stops being the purview of one's wife and themselves when they do not act in a manner consistent with an expectation of privacy.

He made his money on his image. His image is inconsistent with his reality. Expect people to notice.

Totally with you andy, this news is not news it is a distraction from the real issues but the mainstream being what it is, will continue to feed us the obvious. A man succumbs to his weaker needs and all of a sudden it is as if the gates of hell opened beneath him and he spouted two heads and a hundred tentacles.

It is ridiculous and I refuse to watch this tripe or read about it. I refused to read about Woods when he was a cardboard cut-out playing the perfect human being and I refuse to read about him now he has become a realistic and flawed human being.

As humans age - they need to experience all levels of development.

If certain levels are denied - - especially childhood/adolescents - - - its going to kick in at some point in life - - - and not in a good way.

I feel for Tiger's family - - - - but this is a man with a deep psychological problem who needs Help - - - not more abuse.

Tiger needs full support to understand his addiction and full support in recovering.

I don't know if any of you saw the bleached blonde chick in Las Vegas name Jackie *SNIP*, who was interviewed and said she dated Tiger and she loved him but didn't get so much as a birthday card from him...well I can sorta back it up. You see she is my mom's best friend's granddaughter and about 3 years ago my mom told me Jackie was calling her mom and grandma telling them all about how she is dating Tiger Woods. My mom and I thought to ourselves, yeah, sure, right. But now she is shopping her story to anyone who will listen so I guess she really did have something going on for awhile with him, but it was just sex, we all know that.

I guess this is my closest ever claim to fame, lol. (I don't get out much)

Well its sad. They think Tiger Woods sex romps are a disgrace, yet its a real disgrace that they can't man up and face the ever present problems of the world head on..

If the general population would prefer to go about their lives as self-important drones, prefer to be distracted from important issues by mass media coverage of sex affairs of celebrities and who said what and brad pitt and Angelina are on the rocks.... It gets under my skin so bad.

It is no ones business. There is a whole planet out their beyond your TV and media magazines and gossip... A whole universe in fact.

I know I shouldn't be angry at the people themselves, its TPTB that have created this and brainwashed the people.. So it is them I am really angry at.

Who are you to say that Tiger needs help ? He is doing what his natural instincts are driving him to do . How do you know his wife isn't a gold digger who landed a big catch ?

I haven't watched any of it at all neither, could care less. As long as I'm getting some I am happy.

He may or may not have had sex with these ladies, but when you have a lot of money, there are people going to come out and try and take some of it from you anyway that they can.

Humanity needs to get it's priorities straight.

And I know how people are going to react to this post, "so what", "I don't care" and or "yes they are worth it".

The pie is not being cut evenly.

We allow and applaud certain useless people to make millions and yet resent and revolt against decent pay for the very people who are useful, (getting you your McDonald's coffee, stocking that apple on the shelf you will buy for lunch and the person who you entrust with your baby for eight hours each day).

We need to put a ceiling on what people are paid and I'm not talking the minimum wage person who cleans your company toilet at the end of the day, the common man barely makes enough to put food on the table and pay rent.

Wake up, stop glamorizing the people who are useless eaters that take all the pie and leave the rest of us with nothing.
