The emperor has no clothes, and the head has no brain. The weather changes are quite clearly being caused by a disturbance in solar weather. Why the solar weather change? Quite possibly the incoming twin star, Nemesis, and its' gravity. As it gets closer, the earth will have more problems. Do a search engine on Nemesis, and understand that the 'sophmores' have dated the orbit using the radio carbon method. That has already been proven very wrong, and based on assumptions of the ages, not evidence. The more reasonable dating is 3,600 years. We shall all see in a few months, one way or the other. Govts world wide are digging underground sancuaries to shelter themselves.

I'll just bet that Al Gore in a prison cell with Jerome the rapist would give Al Gore the attitude change that he so deparately needs and it would finally do to Gore what he and others have been doing the American public.

We could as a nation take up donations to get him a subscription to Outdoor World until he gets out, but I just suspect that if Al Gore did a few lengthy years in prison he would come out and open up a GaY bAR with his new found prison buddies.

Al Gore is an example of a corrupt and greedy modern day criminal gangster that associates with other criminal gangsters and to see him or anyone associated with the climate gate hoax getting arrested for their crimes would be long overdue and applauded by myself and a probably millions of citizens.

Al Gore never deserved any awards and the only attention he should get is the attention that places him in prison. It's a shame that as a nation we let this criminal walk among the rest of us as if he is untouchable because he isnt.

Ever since Socrates stated "as for me, all I know is that I know nothing" the worlds greatest thinkers have been struggling with the question of when even the simplest matter is known well enough that all can safely conclude the matter to be settled and no longer needs to be addressed. And now, some 2500 years after Socrates, along comes Al Gore declaring by pure fiat that the debate is over on a matter of such extreme complexity as the climatology of the entire earth varying over years into the future; now that's a bigger whopper than his line about inventing the internet.

Even before the climate-gate emails I never understood why Al Gore received so much praise for addressing such a difficult matter as climatology in such a hypersimplistic manner.

You sir and others of the same ideology have always wanted to take the lazy approach to this debate and never wanted to read investigate any of the science or read any of the papers published over the past 35 years. Instead you get your info from the MSM which is bought and paid for by the same corps who are running roughshod over our environment.

Here's the truth and tell me if I'm wrong:

Your political ideology - if not conservative - leans to the right

You always thought "Global Warming" was a lefty, communist concept and never believed it was real

You never liked Al Gore and never agreed with his politics

You were just waiting for some kind of evidence or misstep - no matter what it was - in order to sink your teeth into your belief that GW doesn't exist.

You are of the same group that originally did not believe one bit that GW was real - ever. Then when the evidence started to become overwhelming, you changed your attack to the fact that MMGW is not real.

(For the record, if you want to discuss this topic seriously you need to describe it as climate change - otherwise you give yourself away)


I really find it interesting that on this site - of all places - you and others do not see the real conspiracy here. TPTB and big money really do not want to do anything about this issue. It will cost them way too much money and force them to move their business out of the country. At every chance they get, they try to debunk the climate change theory in order to shift the political debate away from any possibler policy change. As with other issues, they have enlisted the village troops to carry out their cause - the conservative right wing base who just loves to tackle issues that make the left look bad. Just another case of the right manipulating their constituents into being against policies that are ultimately bad for us regular folks and at the same time line the pockets of the fat cats.

The attack on MMGW (as many people here put it) is the last stand for the climate change deniers who wish to just live their life as if nothing is happening in our world. I'll call them Human Ostriches.

The only difference between the bird and the human is that where the bird puts his head in the earth, the human has the ability to stick his own head well within his own bum.

First of all this is two out of around 6,000 Academy members. Less than one percent of all Academy members want to take away this Oscar while over 99 percent do not want to have it taken away.

Secondly Al Gore did not get the Oscar. It went to the director of An Inconvenient Truth, Davis Guggenheim.

A big story in conservative media. A non-story in real-life.

Regradless of whether global warming is true or not i hate how Al Gore has abused the issue for his own gain. He lied in his film, or more properly i should say he misrepresented data, making graph lines fit almost perfectly when in the original data they do not.

Then he got himself into an organisation that makes money from carbon credits. That to me was the final straw. He had a product and created a need for thaat product, this makes him immediately suspicious. I find it funny that here on a website if someone is claiming something and selling book about said claim then they are immediately disregarded by so many. I now see these same peopel defending Al Gore even though he's doing the exact same thing!

So again whether global warming is real or not i don't find important when discussing Al Gore. The question now is will he be stripped of his Noble Prize.................i would love to see that. Hell i'd buy carbon credits to see it

here's a bit of science....burning requires oxygen, which we, as humans, need to live...burning produces CO2, which we, being human, will kill us.

I never bought the whole idea that we as humans have an effect on global warming. I'm not even sure I buy global warming period. We should be doing things to better our environment just cause. We may not be the cause of the earth warming up, but destroying our environment damages other aspects of our ecosystem which could be detrimental to us in other ways.

Do you get the joke here, oscars are for acting, and gore conned the whole world. Amazing, isn't it that he got an oscar, and people never put 2 and 2 together and worked out the con.
