What's Your I.Q.?

If you have taken an I.Q. test, what is your I.Q.? I don't think I.Q. is a good judge of intelligence, but it is a good judge of analytical abilities.

My I.Q. is 136.

I do not think its good for analytical abilities either.

Mine must be closer to zero, than to yours now, after all these years.

An IQ test takes many hours to complete.

May I ask where you took yours, or how long it took to complete.

I only ask because these days you are constantly confronted by people who think "online tests" are real.

Anyways...My IQ is a 5. But I cheated to obtain a higher score then I should have received.

Mine was 144 last time I checked, however I was semi-intoxicated when i took the test.

and I agree IQ really only tests for accumulated knowledge, not analytical abillities, which is much more important.

I took it about 5 years ago as an entry to a gifted class, I didn't make it do to the spelling section. Thank goodness for spell check!

I think it's a good judge of analytical abilities. If I am thinking of the correct meaning of analytic that is. I think if I took the test again, I would do better, because the last time I took it, I didn't fully understand everything in it. I was about 9 or 10 at the time. (Yes, I am in high school)

mine is 159 but my mental health isnt at its peak performance. (stressed/ bad memory)

honesty is the best policy . . . . at least you didnt claim to be intoxicated during the test skewing your results

I posted this to see if the average is actually 100, because that's what I've always heard. It's also based on psychology, the test, that's why I posted it here.

IMHO you can have a high IQ, but without common sense I think it is wasted.

I have never taken a real test but i have taken the online line tests and ranged any where from 117 to 142. Of course having dyscalculia I have skipped the math part.

My IQ is 35.

my official IQ is 117
but when i took the Officers Candidate Test at Ft Jackson SC,
i scored high enough for the military to tell me to apply for OCS
(officer candidate school) at my permanent duty station ---
