Devilwasp, The U.S. and Russia have the combined ability to destroy the world 13 times...that means The U.S. alone can do the deed 6 and a half times...we only need destroy the world once to get the point across...that although we can do it, it's better to trust us than trust Iraq. We're the absolute most powerful for a reason...we do what we say while the other nations watch and disapprove and shake their fingers at us...and we don't give a f**k simply because NO ONE CAN STOP US. We'll point our nukes at every power who rubs us the wrong way and still have enough WMD's to lay waste to this planet a few times...I'm not bomb crazy, so understand my message beofre you think I am. Better for us to be the iron gauntlet of supreme and absolute power than an Iraq or a still not totally unified Russia...I'm not disrespecting Russia...but lets face facts...they need more stability, a better economy and a firm grasp on the whole glasnost thing.

the world should be thankful that it is america who is the super power and not some whacko country. even though we make mistakes we still are the most helpful country around and try to aid any country in need. america is the most culturaly diverse country in the world, perhaps god is telling us to embrace each other and that is why he has given america supreme power. we are the first country in the history of the world to accept cultural diversity. even though i can barely understand anything of wat people say to me at my work. it really opens my eyes to see how people from all countrys have the same desires for a simple life. the japanese were perhaps the most isolated country in the world pre ww-2. they were so into their own culture and their own world, they could not accept outspoken americans. god punished their narrow minds by way of nuke! when the world comes together as one, you get america. more can be accomplished when everyone works together. and that is why we are going to put death lasers into space so everyone knows america is cool and if you dont think we are cool then you can meet our death laser

the media is the devil!!!! they will tell you nothing but what they(government interest) want you to hear. newsnight is the only show that comes close to divulging relevant information, and even they dwell on retarded topics a lot. im talking about TV news. im not very familiar with news papers, but they seem to becoming obsolete these days thnx to computers

for the sake of topic i want to see a orbital carrier, i think its highly acomplishable, just like the space station, but with sub orbital f-22 hangers! i dont know how useful it would be though. mabye it would allow us to police the soon to be orbital highways and overthrow the hijacked ISP.

as for kookoo u stink! cultural unity is non existant in the US that is my whole point. everyday u find someone with a different culture, a different outlook and different beleifes. each person can teach you things about their culture that you would never be able to realize if you were culturaly unified.

Preach it, Kogi, my man! They don't call America "The Melting Pot" for nothing. Us Americans are of a diverse mind...I myself am Puerto Rican. I've travelled to different places. I've lived in The Carribean and in The U.S. and I find that I've been immersed in a great many cultures...(read my thread in the should japan rearm category...I think they should by the way) and I've seen that our diversities fuels our collective opinion on the world because we couldn't appreciate it if it were just of like minds...and last time I checked, the U.S. is part of the world...instead of exploring the world, (which I have no problem doing, I love travelling) visit the chinese in Chinatown...find some cultural richness in Little Italy...go to college point in Elmhust Queens N.Y. to meet a large concentration of the Indian population and Colombians. (By the way, if you ever get the chance, the most delicious indian dish I have ever had the honor of allowing to cross my palette is Curry Chicken with White Rice and the very delicious Nan Bread and your beverage of choice should be? A Mango Lahsee, boy I hope I spelled that right! It's a milk shake made with mango puree and vanilla ice cream.) The point I'm making is sometimes you don't need to travel the world to meet new and diverse people...The U.S.A. IS THE WORLD...a little bit of the population of the entire world lives here in the U.S. and God bless us for that!

I agree, the media is used in many ways, but with a broader mindset you can normally fathom the truth from the lies, I tend to read between the lines (lies).

I used to have a blinkered perspective on these issues when I was younger but have wisened to the injustices that come with creating a free and democratic world.

IMO, London is as culturally diverse as you can get, I prefer the term Cosmopolitan, but thats not to say we are without our problems.

Yes, we have Zoo's over here aswell, but I'd prefer that our cultural differences didn't lead to segragation.

My preferred curry:

I'm sure that all the different cultures are happy to have the opportunity to live in your world. But thats it, isn't it, America has to take America with it wherever it goes, they are not happy to live in anothers country without having their own home comforts. And I'm sure you welcome with open arms cultural diversity, as long as it exists with the constraints you lay down.
