a brilliant move on the part of the US. its going to take a stronger economy then we currently have though. i see this in the forseeable future that america consintrates all of its funds to the space program then all the rest of us will be poor.... but im ok with that because when we have space missles and supers death rays shooting china they will know not to f*k with us ^^ think of it as when gun powder was first invented and the indians shoot their arrows at us and we laughed at them and took their stuff. except with the power that the space missles exuberate we will be capable of complete world domination! the consiquences if we fail however would ultimatly be catastrophic but hell its not like us american have nething better to do then sit on the couch and watch TV. if every one stoped giving in to all this commercialazation crap then we could put our resources to good us and make a super army just think of every SUV fitted with a machine gun and laser guided bombs then we would have so much fun driving around. sry im off topic.... so neway we are at WAR! lets get those damn missles into space already.....

Supposedly there are sanctions against space-based weaponry, but when was the last time you heard of the US caring or abiding by international treaties/sactions....

The US kinda dropped the ball on man-based space exploration. Now the only concern is purely military. Which is really sad since now China and others are coming to the forefront of space exploration, not militarization.
