My response would be...

Materialism happened to it...

I think my definition of Liberal and Conservative and that in many ways I refer to lifestyle is something I should have said from the beginning before i went on a tirade.

To me...

Conservative also means, conservative financially, less extravagance more down to Earth

A position from which money can be saved and doing for others comes easy, in which personal old time behavior like a business loan from a relative instead of a bank is still possible or buying your neighbor flu medication is something you would do without asking...

Because you can and it's no affect on your life

Much like the old days before.. Banks and Credit companies made it obnoxious to turn to your community when in need.

And Materialism made money unavailable to help yourself otr others...

Lets face it, your going to be in need if you sopend to your last penny of each pay check on things, if every one around you does the same... they can not help and if they can't they will get offended because they'd like to and feel bad so they act like your doing wrong by asking...

which leaves us to turn to Govt and banks

Of course, they have no emotion, no care they will track that debt till you die...

So in a materialistic life...

I'd say, it is impossible to be self sufficient, you have to when in trouble turn to them, i'd also say, that suits them just fine, you are now indentured they own you, they like it... encourage the trend.

There is an incredibly evil Cycle (and no I will not say conspiracy) between corporate methods, govt lobbying by them and Law

You use Drunk driving as an example...

Going out for a drink, common, social interaction is necessary, it's an economic stimulus when people go out at night for sure...

and dui is a perfect example of corporate greed at work and govt complacency and people wearing the bag of poo

The Reality is... Cars use too much gas and aren't safe and in a materialistic society we need to go from point A to point B as fast as possible...

Has there ever been a true mandate on car safety or lowering of top speed to a degree where accidents would be a MOOT point demanded of the manufacturers?

If that is perhaps not plausible... do most cities offer Public transportation free after certain hrs...

NO

It's all about finance really... they Tax us for the police to patrol for Dui, they fine us and collect money and matching Federal funds for arrests, they do Nothing on the Auto or transportation end which would cost mega corps or the Govt money to make it afe for us to go out...

Now going out drinking, thats money into the private sector Bar and restaurant and Club owners...

The way it is like this, it's money for the Govt from the people for simply wanting to get out of the house...

I would add, not being able to go out as easy... that leads to drug use or booze use in the home which increases police, crime not just from the drug trade but from Domestic violence and other factors... Lawyers must be paid, prisons, guards...

Of course given the lobbying situation... the city will never be forced to run good public transpo at night aside from a few places like NY and Cars will never be truely required to be made fool proof...

So should anyone ever die in an accident in a day of nano tech metals and modern technology...

But they will and it will be OUR personal responsibility but because of their greed.

Have you ever wondered exactly WHY across most of America on Friday and Saturday night the Bars are forced to close? Would it be so bad to allow you to stay and sober up?

Here in my state it is 2:00 Am

I have been following your thread and this post was a beauty. I don't do you justice singling out one point but this one in particular hit close to home living close to NYC and a witness to the high income unemployed. How many highly educated people are s.o.l. in the current economic crisis? Where did our pigeon holing educational system get them? Did they innovate to earn their former positions and income? No, they were led like cookie cutter cows into the slaughter house. Star Ship Troopers all. People don't follow their muse into math and sciences, they follow the money. That doesn't seem liberating.

There is a single solitary truth of an economic crisis in a Nation that has the capacity to run all the Water in the world, has an amazing infra structure and supplies 1/3 of the worlds food... and is capable of being completely self sufficient

That is... the crisis is completely self generated by a quest for greed and power

1.5 Trillion maybe military spending, ongoing warfare, constant free giving away of aid and food, bailouts of corporations instead of people, high taxes massive funding of police for a war against the citizens...

And people are getting mad because they associate the term Liberal with themselves...

And they vote for this govt and support it

But I maintain again...

How is National Education Liberal?

Liberal has always been associated with non materialism but most of these people in our cities are yuppies not hippies by any means and it's them who suffers the most in an economic down turn... paying the high rents and high prices for daily living

The war hasn't stopped military spending has not been cut, troops are surging

privacy has not been restored.

Frankly... if you ask me if allot of people went back in time to the 60's a told their younger selves they were "liberals" their younger selves would flat smack their faces...

The break down is surprising...

It seems about 45-55% Support vs Animosity

Looks allot like the election actually lol

And that is interesting because I really would think particularly in here people would realize what i'm getting at, that Obama and what our current policy and legislation is is simply no more Liberal Under Obama than we were Conservative under Bush

But maybe 10% seem to get that, it's hard to understand after watching one side get duped for 8 years under a Globalist Agenda how Liberals are equally and the same Sheep following blindly along while a complete overthrow of Freedom is put in place.

Perhaps you should also consider when you say things about Anger, The effects of Testosterone and why others simply don't get angry when they have every good and just reason to. Much of the world has wondered and out loud why the American people have not stood up yet. Have you ever looked at medical surveys of the Testosterone levels in American Men these days? Quite dismal...

You brought up a good point in your original post about Obama's personal family life. Very, very conservative (probably had a lot to do with his upbringing by his mother). Why doesn't he expect everyone to succeed like he did? Does he really think free government cheese will make people self-reliant and productive?

Yes, we all start with various advantages and disadvantages - but the most surefire, absolute way to impose inefficiency in the system is to reallocate resources from those who made it to those who didn't. We ALL suffer when the government makes the free market less efficient.

It's funny to me how little actual analysis of the person we do... in my time here at Ats I have heard people thrash each other over meaningless scandals very "technical arguments" about policy and law and statements made by politicians...

But you very rarely see people actually look at the real them...

Take Bush, everyone had heard the stories of Cocaine Dui's there are You Tube Videos of him drunk off his rear end...

Yet he got the Conservative vote by just talking about a few issues and no one cared to see there was nothing that Conservative about the man.

A: I did start a bit aggravated for personal reasons which I apologized for btw... and explained

B: I did want to grab some Liberal anger...

It was a Goal...

To make a point...

That Liberal under Obama are acting the same way as Conservatives did under Bush, actually Intolerant to others, nothing very Liberal is going on in this administration and both guys actually play for the same team and several others without being redundant...

For sake of understanding

I very recently about 3 weeks back went a step beyond my cleansing program that I have been using all year, I have a few threads on it, detoxification...

And started looking at ENHANCEMENT again, and I took a real good look at issues of Masculinity in America, Chemical and because i really need to get my business back open before I get in trouble... Clarity, mental functionm Concentration.

So i'm now on... 3 weeks, about 10 mugs of double bagged Black Tea every day, added Ginko to my regimen started detoxing again as well as a few other simpler things B vitamins, Zinc, E etc...

Now, Black tea will Boost regular testosterone by around 33% and reduce Dihydrotestosterone (the bad kind by about 70%)

And all I can say is this...

It's like having your eyes opened up, it is extremely obvious to me that our aggression level has been seriously deumbed down as well as our focus...

I notice things like how incredibly poor others ability around me and in the forum to is to concentrate, devlop full thoughts, notice what is going on...

On every level from playing a video game like Mario Kart I simply can focus and devastate others now, just sharper and faster and more aggressive on every level...

And it's GOOD, it feels good...

And I see a startling passive nature to most guys, it's.... really quiffy to watch from this perspective.... what we are putting up with, what is being done, the lies...

I feel like ...

There's allot to the theories of People being dumbed down mentally and physically... Intent or conspiracy or just a side effect of the modern world? Can't say for sure...

But that it is real and big part of the "apathy" is real I think...

So if others are... in a lessened state a place where they aren't pumping out the right hormone levels...

How do you make them aware without a bit of a slap to the face... if your used to feeling a certain way and have grown used to it, how do you snap somebody out of it?

All i've done, is ... get out of dodge get some fresh air and water, remove the phylates and fluoride and the rest and heavy metals, and amp up myself to my appropriate hormone levels... and hey, it's not roids lol, i'm not in a rage lol, it's black tea okay... before anyone starts, when sperm counts are at 33% normal...and testosterone levels often 25% normal around the country... all i've done is restore my natural biology

And gee wiz...

I'm pretty mad at these guys right now lol... I'm really very libertarian and insulted and offended by them atm...

So IS this all a coincidence or not real?

No... they are dumbing us down but good to get away with it...

I'd agree with that, probably in MEDIA some of the most hateful things ever spewed come from the mouths of Conservatives.

But does Rush really represent middle America, No, not really... But Not anymore than Bush did or any body else i'd say on some levels he's very sensationalist

I don't think we can use the likes of Rush or Cheney to rationalize becoming the same people back to your typical Rural Conservative American, it's like hating America because you sit in Europe and watch Jerry Springer...

Most of these people are among the nicest people walking

And I see whats going on as out right hate directed at them and a complete removal of their way of life...

I just want to point it out... people in Urbania refer to anyone not from a major status city basically as Willie Bubba, and particularly in an age of Internet and Cable Tv that's simply not true anymore for most places...

And it makes no sense to me that a Year later when not one single power grab by the bush administration has been overturned and more and more laws are being added, the War continued and defense spending unchanged under a supposedly "liberal" administration

Yet people are falling blindly at their feet under a banner like they won some victory and taking it all out at least verbally on conservative America...
