Being the daughter of the Mason, you are free to join the Eastern Star, even if your husband doesn't become a Mason.

I have. Once I went to a meeting and a guy drugged me and said he would kill me if I came back, but I think that was more of a personal grudge. Another time I sent an email to a lodge in a different nation and got a snotty reply. Actually, I think that happened a couple times. You could do a lot for recruitment by getting some of your members together and calling all the other lodges and emailing them posing as prospective members. I think you will be suprised at the response you get.

Can you tell me the three philosophic points that are the foundation of fm? One was equality.

this is going to sound nuts but be careful. I have seen and heard things that lead me to believe f.m. is beingn used by a crazy sect of hindus to find victims for stealing life force and human sacrifice. (the way they do it it would not look like sacrifice) Look at pictures of nepali people and be familiar with what they look like, then compare to people in your lodge and local police department.

one question, why did you feel compelled to join something that in some peoples eyes could be likened with a chess club?

Good question. For me, I was hearing all sorts of different stories about what it was, so I decided the only way to truly know, would be to join. No regrets. Just said I didn't join much much earlier in life.

I say, "Why not?" The Masons are known for charity and I was interested in their history.

I hear that's quite common in the New Jersey lodges.

Uh, no, I still have no idea what you are talking about. How about making a lucid and intelligent point instead of being purposefully cryptic.

You mean 'What was the Oracle at Delphi'?

The Pythia was a Priestess of Apollo who allegedly could devine the future.

What is the relevance of this?

A Freemason's Work isn't done until our "weary feet shall have come to the end of life's toilsome journey", that is when we are called to rest by TGAOTU.
