Its not about having a sense of humor, its about the ridiculous trend of people wanting to debunk EVERYTHING that comes their way, or ridiculing other members because they have a *theory*

Its good to be skeptic, I question every UFO video as if its either explainable or a hoax. The burden is on them to prove otherwise.

And clearcut hoaxers need to be ridiculed, they deserve it

Photoshopped!!! Clearly this is CGI!! It's obvious that you scanned a photo of a turquoise bed sheet and augmented the color gradients to your liking but you forgot one key factor. The atmospheric effect of distance. It should be a bit hazy. Better yet, the clarity of the photo is a dead give away that it's hoaxed. You should have pixelated the hell out of it and ran a blurry non-matching edge around it make it look "authentic".

Why would you even get that close to a parasol without getting under it? Fond of the skin damaging rays of the sun? Clearly you are insane!

..or whomever photographed this image for this "alleged" catalogue.

Debunked!

Now let's spend 38 pages of in-depth analysis to determine that it's an umbrella.

There's no hope - even with those renegades - it's an (out of stock) aquamarine parasol - just don't fight it! :-)

Peace!

Skepticism is great. Flat out denying something without considering all sides is not.
The burden is hardly on a person who comes across a video, believes it to be true, and posts it to get other opinions. Sorry, but you are wrong. Opinions are like a-holes, everyones got one and they all stink.

By that philosophy, it is on you to definitively disprove things, with evidence. Otherwise, you are no different.

I agree that all flat-out hoaxes need to be weeded out. however, most that people are freaking out about on here lately are not clear cut hoaxes. They are videos posted for analysis.

Finally, no one needs to be ridiculed. I would hope we are all old enough, smart enough, and mature enough to deal with such things in a better way than ridiculing people. Is it that hard to just discard the things you dont believe?

Peace? No peace.......Diiiiiiieeeeeee!

You supply the exif data and then I will see if I can get Jeff Ritzmann to comfirm the legitimacy of said aquamarine parasol. Pfffft!!

I stand firm. It's a superimposed tin roof from a garden shed from Better Homes and Gardens magazine!

Hey there
I started giggling before I even clicked onto the thread because I knew what it would be about.

Thank the goddess someone had the guts to speak out about that ridiculous white patio umberella (sorry UFO) thread. Now maybe people will stop posting on it and let it die ... or better yet let a mod put it out of it's misery (if the thread were a dog it would have been put down pages ago) !

Well done you.

Woody

Agents claim to know nothing yet are offended at not knowing
enough.
How do you figure.
What kind of agents are we talking about.
Agents of mis information.
Are you or I counted as one.
If not there why should we be offended.
Miss information about "Blue parasol picture in a catalogue"
is what I'm talking about.

Only no one has answered the questions so nothing has been concluded.
You are entitled to your oppinion that it is an umbrella however, even though the inwards angles don't match that of an umbrella, and that it clearly is visible infront of pole on many screens. It also appears to be infront of the bush to the right. A very strange place for an umbrella not to mention that the umbrella pole would be missing.
Maybe it is an umbrella hovering?

Nice one OP.

Wait for maxxsee to come and tell us that it actually is a UFO and how wrong we all are.
Let a couple of people analyse it and see what they come up with.

It's NOT an umbrella.... can't be... where's the pole?

And I apologise aif I come off as rude...I just see a definite trend on this site of making a joke out of those that people dont agree with. To me, that is the OPPOSITE of denying ignorance.

I guess I just long for the days when this site was about being constructive.

I'm nobody's fool!! I know a military r.c. drone when I see one. I have it also from undisclosed sources that it could be a Chinese Haune Lantern in broad daylight being prepped for it's maiden over Honolulu.

I won't say my sources name but his initials are Art Bell.
