Taking Back America

There is a movement in the USA with a great number of people wanting to take back America. Most of these people are looking at the government as a source of the problems that plague us. A lot of us see the government as a leech on the side of honest Americans who just want to earn a honest living and live in peace with our neighbors, we do not ask much. I think that the ousting of the Government will not solve anything and that the ones that we need to revolte against are the Media and those who control it. Wake up people the media controls who gets elected and if they stay there. We have all seen how they can destroy people at the drop of a hat with no repurcusions when they are wrong. Our goal should be to overthrow the Media and take back our country then maybe we will get honest government that dosent have to pay Billions to the media to get elected.

Great idea in theory, but....
can't see how people could do it.
And being a news junkie.....
I would miss my CNN

If you don't like the media, become the media. Unlike lawyering or doctoring, no license is required to be a journalist.

While a lot of people have jumped on the blogging bandwagon, the web is crowded and too easy to ignore. I think the best way to get noticed is good old fasioned newsprint. You'd be surprised how cheaply one can get 1,000 copies of a 11x17 format newspaper printed. It's usually less than $200. You can buy second-hand newspaper boxes and racks and fix them up. Many businesses will let you put them in their stores if you ask.

Start a local weekly or even monthly newspaper. Supplement your print audience by looking into community radio or local-access cable. You have to start somewhere, and it ain't going to be at the top.

Don't hate the media. Become the media!

Odds are the general public will write you off as a nut though....before even reading your paper...people are like sheep and its hard to change their habbits...

Good post _alien I may take your advise. I may just start a group to start a structured news letter to wake America up.

Before college (10 years ago), i realized this was the way to effect change...and to dominate the millions of fat, lazy, ignorant, couch potato's residing here in America.

you hit the nail on the head factfinder, the media is our biggest enemy. they control this entire nation by scaring them. they deal with non-sensical issues. and use perswasive language to divert people from the real issues. they only show us wat they think we should see. this blinds us to reality. turns us into cowards. there is so much too it i cant even put it into words.....all i know is marth stewart is not more important then a single iraqi civilian killed.... i believe that nick berg video is merly a distraction so we all look and say wow they are evil. they could probably come out with a new video like that every week, but they dont need to cuz they have plenty of pointless jail pictures to mull over.... why can iraq hang burning corpses and we not have some light hearted humor...?! i wish the media would wake up and give us real information and not ask questions that dont matter.

Overthrowing the media huh? Well im in!!!lol. Umm how exactly are you going to do that? It would never happen.

You pick 1 network boycott their sponsers, go after their private lives like they do others and remember you do not have to tell the whole truth just the part that works for you. Just for a start that is.

I think that it would take the media's influence to start a revolt of any kind, which is a problem if you're goal is to take over the media......

The media doesn't control the government. Big business controls the government, and big business owns the media. The media promotes the agenda it�s told to. If we need to get rid of anything, it�s the influence and control of big business on government.

Big businesses own everything which brings us back to the NWO right?

Big Business is the NWO, if you want to call it that. I don't go in for most theories on the NWO; it's all about financial control.

Force the media like Fox ,Cnn and the others to air all political ads free as a part of public service. Remember we own the airwaves not the media. Then maybe we can get politicians that are honest because they do not need millions of dollars to run.

The established media is the infancy of their implosion, but they are unable to stop what they have been doing for 70 years.

They have no clue why so few people believe them anymore. ABC, CBS, and NBC are nothing more that parrots of the NY Times and Washington Post and mouthpieces for the Democratic Party.

The ratings of all three network news organizations are on an irreversible slide while Fox News Channel's ratings have now climbed to twice that of CNN, an even more liberal network that the 3 majors.

Wait long enough and they'll do themselves in.

Well Im for sure not starting a revolution in my town, too many Bush supporters and gun toting rednecks who go to Bob Jones University. If there is to be one I think the inner city gangs are going to join forces and get some real leadership. Then it will probably spread out across the U.S. and recruit members mostly from the minorities, under and middle class. Im sure many college professors and other underground intellectuals will help. There will also be military leaders and veterans who want to see America restored and will take on leadership roles or other help. Anyways thats just my little vision.

you cant, can you? Thats the reason the media is so powerful over you lemmings, is because you cant control your own brains.

Who is to blame? the media for playing the mental bablum they do, or the millions of couch potatos that cant stop their digestion of it, and moreover DEMMAND THESE PROGRAMS!!!

Programming that isnt popular, doesnt make any $$$, and doenst last long.
Every day the viewers "vote" for the programming they want with their remote controls....and the media is happy to give the public what it wants.

Take back America from whom, the media?
Try taking back control of your own brains, actions and responsibillities first.
Only then will you be even remotely ready to hunt bigger game.
