well sir, your 'help' has yet to prove to actually be 'helpful'.
If that is your idea of help, you can keep it to yourself please or at least don't direct it at me.

hopeless people, calming them are you? well...I guess they should be grateful....pfffffffft. c'mon man. who do you think you are?

my ideas are fine, you aren't providing any 'better ideas' despite claiming to have already been helping people to reach them? you're delusional.

My ideas were shared for curiosity's sake, I couldn't care less if anyone else follows my ideas or not, they are mine, I will follow them, that is all there is to it.

'i can tell you if it will work or not'

And I will continue to ignore you.

Watch the video

Thanks for the video, I will watch it.

I have not looked at survival this way before.
my perspective is that life is worth fighting for.
This is due to a story i read about a 'war' doctor. He said the children he worked on were too young to understand they should fight to stay alive, they just slipped away, let death take them.

There's a kind of spiritual purity that allows for people to let death take them, there is a very hard to explain very personal kind of beauty to it, however, it is very sad also & I will fight to survive until I experience my own death.

Finally, My original post & my ideas regarding tribal existance which sparked this stupid debate, as mentioned above, were born from a lifelong desire for a particular lifestyle, it is not a reaction to fear, I am preparing things now & with haste as I feel it may be too long to wait till mid-thirties to set up this community as originally planned, the time is now, as they say.

OK - myself, I guess I would be described as affluent, or possibly even rich. I do not need to work, and have been retired for a number of years - I'm still under 40.

By watching investment banks, I learned that legal stealing is far more profitable than working. I learned how to do it - people call it trading or investing - it is in fact stealing, but if I take a profit, then thats less money for the real criminals.

My view of the world is developed through study and research only. I really don't care what people say, I will listen, but for me it is just information - if it does not fit with the general mass of other evidence I have - then it goes into a separate pile of possibility.

My central understanding is built around the following principle;

1. Is the evidence internally consistent.

2. If I apply the evidence to reality, do I get expected results.

3. Does the evidence match observations of practical reality.

If it conforms to the above statements - then I consider it a working model of reality, which other people might describe as 'truth', or 'fact'. I don't believe in anything, especially concepts such as truth or fact.

Your idea is that personal bias due to conditions is producing this negative view of the world - in my case that does not match with observations.

Everyone is concerned about TPTB but no one is willing to actually make a stand, there are both legal and moral laws in place to prevent any kind of 'action' against TPTB, they use fear mongering more than normal these days.
And the rest of us just sit back and watch, hoping that someone will do the task for us.
Sure we can all say " I'm prepared to up stakes and leave at the first sign of trouble" or even " I will find a group of likeminded people and form a tribe". but that is defeating the object, like bolting the stable door after the horse has got out.

We need decisive action before it gets much worse, for once on the slippery slope its going to be difficult to get back up.

I'm all in favour of a 'lone gunman' taking out TPTB but the trouble is they are hidden so deep in the corruption that we don't really know who is to blame, most of them will say 'we are just taking orders from superiors'.

But TPTB are ,IMO, really REALLY stupid, we all know that they want to control us, either by design or chance, money and power , slavery, anyway they can , sure we all know or seem to think that they want to eliminate the majority of the population but what end does that serve?

If TPTB really want to control , reduction is NOT THE ANSWER, EXPANSION IS.

Use these supposed hidden technology we all think they have and use it to head out into space, not stay here on this one pebble amongst the stars, after all whats the point of being on an island in the middle of the lake when you can see the far shores but you can't be bothered trying to get there. You want to stay on your island and boss the people around?

A reduction of the population should mean that 1: theres less money to be had, 2: theres less workers and 3: there wil be less people to control.

If TPTB want to eliminate the majority of the population who will build them their houses? work in their factories? farm their food? mine their treasures?
TPTB are so stupid they can't get their noses out of their wallets and see the horizon. Less people may mean less money to fork out supporting them but in the long run means less money in taxes coming into their purses.

And yes we all want to live a comfortable life , even if it is a life of a slave , but in the end we ALL die, us, me , you , even TPTB who have all the money and power cannot take it with them when they shuffle off this mortal coil. SO whats the point of TPTB? None in the long run, just a bunch of greedy old people who want to DIE rich.

So I say give them their wish, but make it sooner rather than later, and maybe this world can evolve from the stagnant cesspool it currently is because of them.

I know from ATS , a previous poster ( can't remember who ) stated that the Cinese or Japanese issued an ultimatum to TPTB that shoud they try to depopulate then they would be taken out after all there's about 10,000 PTB as opposed to the hundreds of thousands of these 'gangs' or even the millions of us, so I say to them, take them out before they get the chance to put their plans into definate action, maybe then we can put war, poverty and corruption behind us and move on.

A conspiracy by nature is a distraction. Conspiracy theories pop up whenever there are unanswered questions.

The swine flu, the Ukraine Plague, the NWO, big Phama, FDA, FBI, ect.

Now ask yourselves what are they NOT reporting? What under the radar articles that warrant follow up are buried in the media?

GOLD!!!!

Gold extraction peaked 10 years ago.

Google:

Salted Gold Bars

Tungsten Gold Bars

What is cooking is under the radar. The government, the fed, the military would rather you focus on something else. They don't want you knowing gold has peaked, the cost of gold is going to skyrocket beyond anything imaginable and amount of fake gold is staggering.

Whatever you do, do not buy gold certificates. Get coins in hand. Make sure they are real too. Prepare for an economic collapse like none other.

I saw or read somewhere that the American national debt would be called upon (by the banking cartels) to be paid immediately; as they write the contract & include a section stating they can break the contract at any time.

This apparently would mean that the debt would be averaged out and paid for by the American citizens, all of them. this equated to a reasonably large number something like 30 grand.

The problem is that unless people have physical gold, silver, whatever to pay the debt with, then they will have their assets taken, even the clothes on their back, the idea being that money won't be worth anything so people won't be able to pay the debt with cash.

Then the idea is that people are relocated to these 'smart cities' and put on a 'financial benefits scheme' in which they 'work for the dole' i.e. assigned work, chipped & locked into a more obvious version of slavery via everlasting debt.

This is why I intend to disappear long before that happens.
I can't pay my share of my countries debt.
whether all debts would be called upon at the same time, global crash, or America first, rest of the world later, would impact on my countries chances also.

It doesn't matter how much you HAVE or HAVEN'T got, they will find a way to screw you over so that they can OWN you.
They can take your homes and your other possessions but for what purpose? they can't sell them onto anyone as everyone else will be broke as well?
And whats the point of TPTB having all these empty houses, they themselves can only occupy one at a time?

I can see the future where the people are broke and living in the cities designated by TPTB , not even cities more like bee hives, the old cities ( dens of sin and inequality as they'll put it) leveled and the land to be used as farmland, toiled on by the new slave citizenry, and again a waste of time as the new 'overlords' can only fill their bellies once.
It will be a modern serfs and lords scenario where favoured minions will get the land to lord over and the peasants ( you and me) will be subject to their whims, they will bicker and fight as to who has the best of it, feudal lordships will spring up like in the dark ages , but with better modern technology.

Welcome to 21st century slavery, it won't matter if your black, white , yellow or red, we'll all be classed the same, the have's and have not's.

A double edged sword.

If we sit back, they kill us... if we start a rebellion.... they kill us.... faster.

What to do, educate yourself and others.
Free and Educated people can govern themselves.

In the game Star wars Apprentice you start the rebellion and in doing so gather all those of opposition together allowing the Empire to know the faces of their enemy and have them gathered in one place to be killed.

In the story it backfires, but its logical.
So what do we do, we be the best we can be and live by what we know is right and just.

Morality has no need for dictation, it's in each of us.

I imagine that a greater percentage of the 'haves' will be 'elite' associated, than the 'have nots'. The non elite associates will be playing an entirely different game to the friends of the cartels. there's room for 100's on most of the bankers 'national park' sized properties. These ppl will be fine.

they want the land, the reason for taking the possessions is to incapacitate you, give you no choice but to depend on them. but as i said, disappear, if they can't find you, they can't fcuk you.

Security company warns of 'cyber arms race'
Chris Lefkow, AFP
Published: Wednesday, November 18, 2009
WASHINGTON – Warning of a "cyber arms race," a leading Web security firm said that China, France, Israel, Russia and the United States were among countries that have developed "cyber weapons."

"McAfee began to warn of the global cyber arms race more than two years ago, but now we're seeing increasing evidence that it's become real," said Dave DeWalt, president and chief executive of McAfee Inc.

"While we have not yet seen a 'hot' cyber war between major powers, the efforts of nation-states to build increasingly sophisticated cyberattack capabilities -- and in some cases demonstrate a willingness to use them -- suggests that a 'Cyber Cold War' may have already begun," a spokesperson from security firm McAfee said.

"Several nations around the world are actively engaged in cyberwar-like preparations and attacks," he said. "Today, the weapons are not nuclear, but virtual, and everyone must adapt to these threats."

The Santa Clara, California-based McAfee, in its fifth annual "Virtual Criminology Report," said China, France, Israel, Russia and the United States have developed "advanced offensive cyber capabilities."

McAfee said that cyberattacks with political objectives were on the rise and although there was disagreement among experts over its definition "cyberwarfare is a reality."

Among the cases cited in the report were the August 2008 cyber campaign against Georgia by Russian nationalists during the South Ossetia war and July 2009 attacks against official US and South Korean websites believed by some experts to have come from North Korea.

"Over the past year, the increase in politically motivated cyberattacks has raised alarm and caution, with targets including the White House, Department of Homeland Security, US Secret Service and Department of Defense in the US alone," McAfee said.

"Nation-states are actively developing cyberwarfare capabilities and involved in the cyber arms race, targeting government networks and critical infrastructures," it said.

McAfee said what it called a "Cyber Cold War" may already be underway.

"While we have not yet seen a 'hot' cyber war between major powers, the efforts of nation-states to build increasingly sophisticated cyberattack capabilities -- and in some cases demonstrate a willingness to use them -- suggests that a 'Cyber Cold War' may have already begun," it said.

The company said critical infrastructure was particularly vulnerable, in part because of its reliance on the Internet.

"If a major cyber conflict between nation states were to erupt, it is very likely that the private sector would get caught in the crossfire," it said.

"Most experts agree that critical infrastructure systems -- such as the electrical grid, banking and finance, and oil and gas sectors -- are vulnerable to cyberattack in many countries," it said.

"In most developed countries, critical infrastructure is connected to the Internet and lacks proper security functions, leaving these installations vulnerable to attacks," McAfee said.

It said some nation states "are actively doing reconnaissance to identify specific vulnerabilities" and quoted one unidentified expert as saying they were "laying the electronic battlefield and preparing to use it."

McAfee said what constitutes an act of war in cyberspace -- and the proper response -- was not yet clear.

"Cyberwarfare entangles so many different actors in so many different ways that the rules of engagement are not clearly defined," it said.

"Without a proper definition in place, it is nearly impossible to determine when a political response or threat of military action is warranted," it said.

The McAfee report was prepared by cybersecurity expert Paul Kurtz, a former White House adviser and included interviews with more than 20 international relations, national security and Internet security experts from around the world.

The only thing I can say here is that there have been many times through out history where the masses were oppressed by the few. There were governments that subjugated their people with totalitarian tactics..and many gave up and died...but there were those who survived, thrived, and made a way for their children's generation to have freedom and peace. We dont have to give up here...we dont have to sleep...the only reason those who are in power now are in power now is because we vote them in. We dont go out of our way and comfort zones to make a change truly happen. I get depressed too, but I balance that dismay with preparation, storing up suppies for the day when there will be no food in the markets, putting away money for the day when the banks will be taken over and closed, and spreading the truth to everyone I know that is still sleeping...It's making a difference and I hope you can use your disgust at our current state and change that into action...not reaction. We still have time, there is still time to prepare...inform...and develop plans not only for survival but for thriving in the coming economic depression. Finally, just know that your not alone in this...I do thank God for a forum like ATS...a place where we dont always see eye to eye, but we all have a common bond of our celebration of freedom of speech and information...don't give up yet.. : )

Hello Folks,

This is post number one for me.

Thus far I honestly don't see evidence that tptb are killing us. I do see them robbing us blind, manipulating us via the media and our govt reps not listening to we the people anymore.

I see corporate lobbyists practically writing the laws because they have such deep pockets that our voice means nothing anymore. In short, I fear that corruption has become so rampant that voting no longer has the desired effect.

I don't think we will put up with this much longer though. There is a lot of anger in this country. Unfortunately at this point a lot of it is misdirected thanks to the media,..aka govt disinfo. But I think once we as a people figure out that itisn't about right vs left....that that will change. I don't see the status quo continuing another five years...but bear in mind that I am just an unemployed moron and this is just my opinion.

It's not about right vs left, that's just their divide and conquer tactics at work. It's about the ultra rich sucking the life blood out us.

I don't advocate violence. We could never win that way and it's wrong to boot. I don't know what the best way to fight tptb is yet, but I think something along the lines of a country wide refusal to pay taxes, mortgages, health insurance premiums, and credit cards, coupled with the former factions of the left and right wings marching together in massive force at state capitols and in DC, just might let our leaders know that we are tired of being taken advantage of and lied to.

My wife is very much a pacifist and a "nice person". She too is disgusted, and so are many others. We just have to stop letting people in the media turn us against each other, and I think we can all take our country back.

DG always have enjoyed your posts as being closer to 60 then 50 I too was reluctant to believe that we live in a country that says one thing, then does another the statements made by my parents growing up as far as I was concerned was their opinion, then as a result of an injury I was not able to play golf, baseball, ride my bikes and quads,so I decided to get a computer,I was amazed at the things I thought were crazy regarding our country, the more I read these things started to make sense to me,the suppresion of the truth, and I see how many of the older people don't want to believe the truth, they don't want to hear how Soc Sec will go broke, and as far as the younger people are under the assumption that no worries the government will take care of us if my parents won't,I have met a small majority that think like I do,we are a socialist country, truth be told the general population are here for the taking,if I make a comment on it I hear"Aren't you afraid that a govt agent might hear you?",then I ask said person if we indeed have rights isn't free speech one of them,I'm ready to fight but I'm afraid the majority will march into whatever they have planned for them,me I'd rather die then become a blind sheep of the govt,I'm fed up fight on

I'd think that it's in big Pharma and the government's best interest to not get rid of a good chunk of the population. But just enough in order to scare us into buying more face masks and hand sanitizers. They're inexpensive and easy to use which fits well with today's economy. Manufacturers of those products will see huge profits.
