LOL Brillant really, I take my hat off to the artist! Demonise the 'evil' Chinese empire yet again this time with a small 'child' treated so badly she can't even go to the toilet ... Oh the emotion, oh the cruelity, those evil commy bastards.
Think you idiots, if only for a second!!! She can't do a pee but with pen and paper in hand shes got more then enough time to draw a picture. What do you think happens with all this poo poo and pee then ? It just hangs around on the floor all day? Perhaps someone at the end of day goes around mopping it all up. Wake up people!

the chinese character in the pic actually means "FART" ,doesn't mean urine at all,it could be a just a naughty kid drawing something completely meaningless, don't humiliate yourself by making a fuss.

Interesting story... until I saw the drawing. Where's the production line? I see a happy smiling face, what might or might not be a sprinkle of urine. (It could be anything really). I see a teddy scribbled out at the side, and a few letters that could be initials, name, anything at all. It might even say PEE, we all know kids like to have fun doing crude drawings. Well I do. Many's the time my kids would draw people or animals with a lump of excrement behind them. It's a crude infantile joke I know, but they had a laugh doing it.
Maybe it happened like this. Mum's still at work, kids go to meet her, boss let's them in the factory, mum hands them a pen and says, "here. behave yourself for five minutes, draw on this," Then scribbled cardboard gets used as packaging for toy gun.

Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is, when we give our children guns we should pay a little extra for them and ensure they are made locally.
If we can't buy a gun for our child that has not been made in another country, perhaps we should reconsider buying a gun at all.
What exactly is so difficult in that ?

Why does the picture have to be drawn by a little girl??? I draw really lousy and I could have very well drawn this picture.
Also, I dont think the picture represents a puddle of PEE it looks more like a person showing that they gave birth and if you look closely it has a line that is connected from the baby to the girl, maybe meaning it was the girls baby.
How was this insert even in the package ? is it possible that someone could have drawn this and then put the gun and insert back in the package?
I dont think that a person/girl would write the word PEE either. Did she know it would be sent to the USA and how could she have learned this word?
Too many unknowns here.
I would like to see exactly how the gun was wrapped.

So what is the latest update to this story.
After skimming through the various posts, i wonder if you actually took the time to handle the paper with protective gloves as to not contaminate the item in question. ?
As far as forming your own profile of the image, i would suggest leaving that to people who actually do this for a living. I also urge you to request legal advice as this could back fire resulting in a multimillion dollar legal battle against yourself.
Exercise extreme caution when dealing with giants in the consumer industry.

Firstly, you might want to choose your words more carefully.
Initially you said "Inside the toy gun" which turned into "A cardboard insert inside the box." I don't have to point out that inside the toy and inside the box are two very different things. At first you indicated it was "inside the gun" which turned out to be a cardboard insert. As someone who works at a law firm, this mixing of details or words can prove very detrimental.
Secondly, the picture is open to complete interpretation. For example, what do you figure that 'thing' is on the right side? Why the smile? Why why why is what I see quite a bit of in this picture.
Thirdly, you seem to have some preconceived notions. What if this toy was made in, say, Canada? I wonder what your interpretation of it would have been. You said yourself, "I've heard that...", you have already formed an opinion prior to receive the toy, and whether you like it or not, it turned into a "this must be..." scenario.
Lastly, I'm not judging anything I see here, including you. I'm not saying you're wrong or right, I'm not saying the picture was drawn by the maker of said toy or not. I'm simply making unbiased observations that are not affected by the emotions that have made some of the replies in this post.
Whatever you choose to do, make sure it's very solid.
Regards,

after seeing the picture, I also have a disagreement with the assessment of what it means.
Urinating?. I don't see a semblance of a puddle, or the look of interpreted liquid which leads me to believe the OP's reaction is media driven...

just look up" fart" in any English-Chinese dictionary online, you will see that character "屁", being a chinese I know there's a lot to blame on chinese government and current labor situation in China, but certainly not this case.
