The recently deployed IBEX satellite confirms that the heliosphere has shrunk 20 to 25% over the past 50 years, and confirming the reason for an observed 20% increase in cosmic ray radiation reaching the stratosphere and troposphere.
The resultant and corresponding effects upon ozone and cloud formation are still being studied, but appear to account for a large portion of last century's climate trends and variation.
