true, i have to agree. but thats the world we live in we got to stay PC. having said that, mexicans and blacks are raised differently than white people and they mostly have to deal with poverty. does any one know what riley is on about? he said i defended the rapists by suggesting that porn mightve been one of the causes.

I have GTA San Andreas and IV, both do not promote rape in any way, the only vaguely sexual acts - lap dances, dry humping etc - no nudity - in the game are CONSENSUAL and under 18s are not allowed to procure the game, so can only play them with parental permission, I am not in any way sanitised to real life violence and since when does driving a car quickly on a screen (Gran Turismo, Race Driver Grid etc) encourage rape?

Have you even played any of these games?

There are much higher rape rates in impoverished countries where video games are not prevalent and neither is EDUCATION.

It's so easy to blame violence on games, before that it was films, books, music, alcohol etc used as a scapegoat/excuse by the people who commit crimes, their parents and the people who just want to ban certain games, films, books, songs, substances etc

People need to be taught morals by parents and teachers as early on as possible so to make sure they do not receive twisted morals from others, and to be responsible for their own actions. IF games, films, literature, music, alcohol, legal and illegal drugs influence someone to do something, it is still their fault as they should have the self control to remove such things from their life if they cannot be responsible after using/consuming them

I hope the dirty vermin who perpetrated and/or watched this act suffer, either by law, vigilante and/or other means eg being ran over by a car
My ideal punishment for them includes:
A wood
Two hillbillies
Vocalists who can train them to squeal like pigs and pray good for the hillbillies
Followed by:

What vets do to cats and dogs to stop them from *ahem*ing

Porn had nothing to do with it. Porn is a miltibillion dollar industry. Millions of people watch porn. If that were the case we'd be having sexual riots. Gangs of men running around rapeing women. I don't think so. Most men like looking at naked women for the beauty they inspire.

As for poverty. % wise there are just as many poor white people as there are any other race. I happen to be one of them. God never gave me nothing but I don't go around blaming other races for my situation and neither does any other poor white person I know. But I can tell you there are alot of blacks that do. And there are alot of whites that feel guilty for the sins of their forfathers. And the media outlets perpetuate the whole situaltion. I see it for what it is.

Me I don't feel guilty for a thing none of my ancestors had anything to do with slavery in america.

You are saying that kids who watch group porn and then go pack rape women might not understand that she's not consenting? Crying, struggling to escape and screaming would be some clues. Are you saying porn prevents these young men from understanding what crying, struggling and screaming means? Wow that must be very powerful porn.. turns normal kids into violent sexual predators without conscience. Must have subliminal messages hidden in it or something.

The reason this happened is more obvious than most will admit. most people are cowards, it is engrained in them since the creation of dialing 911. People today are taught not to help or get involved and dial 911...even if the person needs help. I have been witness to many events where people and children needed urgent help. And in every case... people just sat or stood there looking on as a life was about to be lost. Some even continued to eat without a care in the world. What use would it be to call 911 if someone is dying infront of you. By the time the EMT or Police show up the person has already died. Which also give partial creedence to the saying "A gun in hand is better than a cop on the phone".

There is no real reward to helping someone other than a personal one. You risk your life to save someone most if not all the time there is no big parade, or honor ceremony or monetary reward. Sometime the person you save isnt even gratefull! The only trophies I have for risking my neck is in the form of scars. At a restaraunt in Albuquerque NM I saved a baby from choking, and got absoloutley nothing for it. I even had to pay for all the people I invited. The sad truth is all you get is a pat on the back and "GOOD JOB" and nothing more. I am THAT GUY... and any you others out there who are THAT GUY also know all to well of the rewards of a real hero.

People who go looking to be HEROES get exactly what they are looking for. Real heroes know better than to go out looking for trouble. They know full well they are doing what nobody else will. They know they will not be saved by a rule, bell, refferee or whistle. I have seen so many people freeze up when confronted with such events. When your bodies overdose on adrenilne and you hands begin to shake, and you breathing becomes erratic... your vison becomes slightly blurred at the edges of your vison and everything moves in errie slow motion. A study done by neuro-scientists have found a nano-peptide combination that only 2% of the population has. The study done on soldiers in Special Operation teams like the SEALs, Delta, Recon and SOAR teams all revealed in their brain chemistry to have the same nano-peptide levels that enable them to be able to think in high stress life-death situations.

It is also an observation that people who act brave or tough are anything but when the SHTF. That infact they are the biggest cowards, if I were to bet money on the rapists there are probably all the big "Tough Guys" at school.

While I agree with you that this situation this poor girl endured was horrible and I am truly sorry for what you had to deal with growing up (I had many friends go through the same sort of deal), I fail to see your logic that the police were probably friends with the guys who committed this crime. The story of what happened to this girl has been a topic of discussion between myself and numerous police officer friends of mine since the news began reporting. None of them condone what these dirtbags did to this girl. One of my closest friends is a female deputy and she was enraged to the point that I have never seen her react before. Rapes and other sexual assaults are not only traumatic for the victims, but are emotionally draining for the individuals who are working to help the victim.

To use this girl's sexual assault as a means to throw a cheap shot at the police is just disgusting.

usualy this behaviur originates from home settings and how parents taugth or didnt taugth their kids to behave.

could even be that since it was a "gang" rape, the rapists have done this before and now they went "public" so to say that in their mind it was ok what they did since it was a "norm"

i bet you ll find all kinds of nice trivia in the rapists backgrounds.

This is horrible. These people definitely need to be put away. I don't agree with death punishments in the slightest, but I don't think a death sentence would even be necessary. These people, the ones who rape, the ones who abuse children, they die in jail. They die horrible, painful deaths, but not before they get the same treatment they are in there for inflicting.

put them all in jail and then lets hear about them getting raped in jail and no one helping, except to join in....
