I am writing this thread as i feel that we are still divided, racism is extreme and we are not prepared for terrorist attacks.

I chose most of my articles from a news website that I read frequently. The articles are quite popular and racist comments are frequently posted and not censored. This has caused hate speech and division between cultural groups and I feel we are becoming more and more unstable.

These are some of the rascist comments that were posted on this article that is about four white boys who made black people eat food that they urinated in.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO REFRAIN FROM POSTING RACIAL COMMENTS.

It seems there have also been terrrorist threats which would make things even more comlplicated.

If I had the chance I would leave today. Don't be fooled by the "Rainbow Nation " picture the government is preaching all over the world.

Sport transcends politics ... I saw how united South Africa was after we won the 2005 and 2007 World Cups. Blacks and Whites celebrating in the streets.

To want to deprive the Majority of normal law-abiding South Africans of an event that they will remember for the rest of their lives is just selfish and short sighted.
Don't let the criminals and some politicians (same thing really) colour your judgement.

There is racism all over the world. Get over it.

For the record, I am white, and I dislike Soccer, so I am not biased.

All i say to south africans, is remember the english totally and utterly wrecked your country. South africa is a rubbish country today, because england destroyed your country which should be one of teh best countries in the wrold, due to its wealth.

Whats going on over there kind ofreminds me of how it was in the U.S for a while there back in the50s=60s. Its still happening here, but not like that. Although it does seem like tensions are starting to build here again.

I'm not sure who side you are on but I'm with you on the 'stay away from South Africa' . We are not ready for this, and crime will be high! The ANC ARE the biggest racists and could you imagine the crime against the visitors who are white?!

Our country has gone down the drain since the ANC has taken over. And here is why...

1.) Our president's education level is literally 4th grade. And he runs our country.
2.)Our president has a rape charge against him and paid off the woman to drop the case.
3.)Our pass rate is being lowered AGAIN, so that the blacks can keep up and get the high paying jobs, but they still need white people in lower positions to fix their f*$k ups.
4.) Our minister of health thinks you can cure AIDS by eating lemons and what not!

I should probably be shot with the rest of the 'white racists'! You'd be doing me a favor!

As a white south africa male myself, I can say all that most of South Africa does is play the race card for EVERYTHING. Its rediculous.

Whites are dubbed racist because they didnt show up at the airport to welcome Caster Semenya home. Whites who dont like the ANC are racist. Whites who support the DA are racist. Whites who leave the country because of crime are racist, White who stay are racist. ETC ETc Etc etc...

This is the mentality of the majority of the older population and many many youths aswell.

It is the same vice versa, though not as bad. (I will too be dubbed racist now because I have said that it is worse for whites than for blacks in SA)

I would like to know WHEN the incident with "the four white boys" took place? As far as I can remember it was some time ago. To bring this up now is inciting racial hatred and fear mongering of the worst kind!
I was born in Zambia, my parents moved to S.A. while I was still a young child, I have been living in Nambia for over 30 years now and have watched and seen things develop here and in S.A. and feel that if we could, ALL OF US, just put aside our petty differences and this skin colour thing, we would all be a lot better off.
The world cup will be good for South Africa, look at how you all stood together when S.A. won the Rugby World Cup, when they do well at cricket etc. etc. etc.

The amount of capital that the World Cup will bring to the country will be amazing. Job creation is the first step towards eradicating poverty and it's evil spawn crime.

For anyone to say that people must stay away from the country is so sad ... cutting their noses off to spite their faces.
The country will only get worse if the World Cup failed - and then they can say "Look, we told you so ....".

I think it is sick for South Africans to actually want the country to fail - just to make themselves feel better about how bad they are having it.

There is CRIME. Yes, too much - but the average person is safe if they take normal precautions. Just as they must do in any city in any part of the world.

I went to Nigeria, despite people telling me how bad it was. And I had some experiences but I was safe. I went to the USA despite my reservations about choking on contrails, being brainwashed, killed by the mafia, or a serial killer, dying of cholestrol from all the Fast Food, arrested by Homeland Security etc.

All I am saying is that any country has it's dangers. Most are manageable simply by using common sense.

Wow, did you struggle to see the point of this article?

What could I possibly benefit from writing this article...I am genuinely concerned and feel it's my duty to warn others of possible danger.

What Nationality are you again? Let me see if your ancestors have any skeletons in the closet.

It's cool, they will run this country into the ground eventually and they will only have themselves to blame.

You know what I don't get? If the blacks lived in the field and in huts before the English and British came here to colonize, HOW did we oppress them? We just live and lived differently to them. Some blacks still live that way to this day, in the bush in clay huts because they choose to.

We are not oppressing them, they oppress themselves by lowering education quality, giving their own kind free land to build shacks on so that they don't have to pay rent. That's right, IN THE LOCATIONS you see thousands or brand new BMW's and fancy cars and flat screen tv's, the list goes on.. They live in 'POVERTY' so they can afford the LUXURIES. And that's a fact.
