Obama's populism, that is aimed to improve his rating, is not going too well on the international stage. Criticising foreign car companies (and not the union run GM) and creating a diplomatic feud with China is one way to send the world back into recession (even a depression with his protectionist economic plan)

Informative post but you have honestly got to be joking with your final paragraph…no one can possibly think that the world is better because of America…there is no country on this planet that makes the world a better place!

Pretty much every country in this world has a dark past...what counts is today, and in that respect the US isn't doing a great job considering their newly found interest in imperialism. It's almost as if they're trying to copy the Europe from 200 years ago

Most Europeans have a go at America because of what is happening now,not so much about the past.
Yes,we Europeans have a bad past but things seem to be a lot better now for us,not ripping eachothers heads off at any given chance.

Lets see if America is so great in say a few hundred years(not that we will know) MUCH of what happened in the past was due to religous zealots believing in a god that the USA seems to put a lot of faith in

If only your record for friendly kills on your allies was a bit better eh!!!
