Also, please reread my posts, I have only claimed it to be Left Leaning members of Hollywood, not "THE LEFT" in general as you state.

OK, fair enough. Others have said that but you were this specific. Then you went and kept typing though.

Don't paint me with a broad brush, when that isn't the case. When people do that, it clouds the debate further.

Thank You.

What size brush are you using on left-leaning hollywood? Do you have any idea how many people are actually in Hollywood and left leaning compared to this list? Where do you get brushes that broad?

HOLY cow he said that?

Yep. Apparently his defense is that everyone is a child rapist.

Well with a quote like this, there leaves no room for argument about him and his moment of weakness,

You consider me 'rightwing'? That's a first, usually the rightwingers call me a looney liberal.

Also, i never said anything about hanging, that's WAY too humane. When it comes to child predators, i would prefer some of the devices on that show "machines of malice".

So far in this thread you sure as hell are and I am real sorry that you did not understand but that "hang" thing was not a direct quote so there is no need to state that you did not mention hanging. I thought people would gather that from the context on their own but hey, I give out a lot of credit.

And I'm sorry to see that you have such a desire to categorize people into the two party/wing BS system in order to agree or disagree with somebody. And i know the hanging thing wasn't a direct quote, but i felt it provided a good opportunity to further illustrate what i believe should happen to child predators. You don't have to like or agree with it, just hope i never take charge of this country.

Wish I knew who even 1/4 of those people are. Seems like the majority are from Europe anyway. I did see David Lynch on there. No surprise. Hey I don't see Chuck Norris or Mr. T listed on there.

Roman lived the high life and continued to work in Europe for all of these years. Poor Roman

I sure don't because I have a feeling that there would be no such thing as a fair trial under you. Anyway, as far as that whole "party" thing goes, please refer to the thread title and get back to me.

Most of those names are french, and probably part of the french entertainment industry, is there is such a thing. I recognize a few of the names on the top list...it's shame that Scorcese is on there. I don't know anything about him personally, but i like his films. I'm sure he's a sick SOB though, and from now if i wanted to buy one of his movies, it will be bootleg, lol.

There would still be a fair trial, under my rule. I don't care if you believe me or not, i'm not really running for ruler of america. But if i was offered the job, i wouldn't turn it down. And about the title of the thread, you should probably take that up with the author, i made it VERY clear in my 2nd post on this thread that i did not agree with the partisan tone in the OP.

Because bootleggers are usually otherwise good citizens that deserve our support? Your logic is interesting.

I think they are all a little skewed in the brain. We know Woody Allen certainly is. He could probably relate rather closely to Polanski considering that he married is unofficial stepdaughter via his long relationship with Mia Farrow.

Oh yes and since buying a bootleg would also make you a criminal can I take that to mean that you only support the laws that you like?

Sure, they provide quality entertainment at a fraction of the price. They don't rape children anally or support it, so that's a step above polanski and a few on this thread. You see, i could care less if some corporate fat cat gets a little less money. I see where YOUR priorities lie though.

Yeah I tried that too but I was swiftly reminded that the topic of the thread was not Polanski or the crime, the subject is liberals. You asked me why I was sticking to the partisan route, I answered you. Re-read the thread title if it is still unclear.

If you do not want to talk about the thread subject, that is up to you but you have no need to condemn me for staying on topic.

Apparently you haven't even read a few pages back in this thread. I also stated that i don't blindly follow laws that are put in place to protect the income of already extremely wealthy scumbags. I support laws that are put in place to actually protect society against crimes that involve real victims, not some exec that may not be able to buy a new personal gulfstream jetliner for himself.

Really? Are you sure about that? How would you know? Do you have a monopoly on the bootleg movie industry?

You see, i could care less if some corporate fat cat gets a little less money. I see where YOUR priorities lie though.

Ummm....are you sure that is what you meant to say? Where do my priorities lie exactly? How would you have any idea? Criminals are by nature not rule following citizens. The guy my sister used to get her bootleg VHS tapes from back in the late '80s was also a meth dealer at the time and is not in prison for murder. Want to give that guy your ten bucks?

Tell me where my priorities lie.

Right and you apparently know absolutely nothing about crime. Do you really think that some well to do guy is out there distributing all these bootlegs? I submit my earlier example.

Well, he was not just a bootlegger, now was he? Sounds like he was a murderer, which kinda trumps the bootlegging. Do you know the background of the owner of EVERY business you give ten bucks to? No need to answer that, i know you don't.

I like the fact that she can't figure out the moral and ethical difference between a property crime and heinous oppressive criminal felony.
