I to have felt different to most at times.

But had the wisdom to realise it as signs on a certain path, after examining it much.

I also checked myself that it was real my experiences, had cross cultural, historical and sourced similarities to other peoples experiences, doing the same practises etc....

If this had not been the case I would have done the following, gone to the doctor and asked for a Psychiatric or psychological evaluation and taken any meds prescribed.

I also saw them as tricks, or tempts on the way to truth, usually an animal will fight hardest and make the most noise when cornered, just like when the ego or personality is under threat, be it on purpose to uproot it, or due to an chemical imbalance or some other episode.

I suggest you do the same, examine closely what you are experiencing, why and if it is real or not.

It is always a lot easier to be the "truth" when brain chemistry is in balance first, trying to walk with one leg is just hopping and can never be walking.
