Youtube Censoring Sheen's Video to Obama

Just wondering what the MSM is making of this video. The Sunday morning news show just ran a short piece on it here in Australia. They basically dismissed it as another "wacky" theory, no surprise i guess. No mention of the possible manipulation of the youtube numbers.

Also for anyone checking the honors lately, the honors have dropped down by 2/3's what it was this afternoon.

Notice that every honor attributed to countries other then the US has now vanished.

Also, The video is not on the front page of any of the pages (including News and Politics).

It's odd to note, that there is a Charlie Sheen Video posted on the front page of the News and Politics, but it is not this popular video.

It is the Music Free version.

A different version, that has less views.

So Critics, why are eBay removing Honors for the original Video?

All my comments regarding viewing figures have now been removed.
Just thought I'd share that.

I don't think that this is true because this happens to all popular videos (ex: fred, smosh etc..). Its not a error because unlike comments views don't update in real time on youtube. Thats why you will see a high amount of comments but not views.

This isn't what's being argued anymore (at first this was what was suspicious). I will need to update the original page if possible.

Ratings are Being Deleted

Comments are being Deleted in mass.

AND honors have been deleted.

Here's two videos from another eBay user showing how his rating was deleted

I also have three screen captions showing my rating being deleted.

Yes the censorship is completely revolting. I posted a video with the counter locked at 303 views hours after its posting with over 3000 comments and almost that many ratings. They have also been deleting ratings, I posted a video showing me rating the video 2 times. If I have to rate it again I will update the video reflecting that. They have been doing this to everybody. It goes on and off the front page, now you cannot even find it in news & politics much less the front page.

Just noticed that the video had made it all the way up to the 3rd from the top on "most viewed" youtube vids first page, to vanishing completely off and out of the TOP FIVE pages.

Nope, no conspiracy or censorship going on here people. Go back to sleep...hahahahahah

there is no way youtube or its owner google would censor. Even with my evidence its just to far fetched to belief in the land of the free ...

Were only a killswitch away from Obama killing the internet anyway. Once the "noise" has reached a certain level (just like the sheen video) Obama will kill the interenet in the name of National Security. I didn't see one video on the MSM of the buildings collapsing during the 8 year anny coverage. I'm not saying there wasn't one I just didn't catch it, when I remeber thats all we used to see. I saw several videos of the aftermath but not the actual buildings collapsing.

Another thing I found interesting is that all the coverage on the MSM was from above Manhattan due to construction. I'm sorry but that structure they showed just looked slapped together to keep away protesters. Oops there goes that paranoia again.

Where were you watching television? I saw those buildings go down over and over and over and over and over over the last 8 years. It kind of makes you sick after a while. There was also plenty of footage from the ground on the MSM. Maybe you do not get any channels on your television?

There's no way that video hasn't been tampered with, I was reading through the comments and refreshing the page to watch the page views as I went and I could actually see comments being removed as I was reading through them. The counter stayed stuck at some ridiculouly low number. If it didn't get a million views, I'm a monkey's uncle.
As to youtube censoring things, uh, yeah they do it all the time. There's been alot of threads on here about it, and it's pretty well known.
The reason the mainstream media isn't going to let Sheen back around is simple, they spent alot of time, money, and effort demonizing him the last time accusing him of beating his old lady and being a drunkard and god knows what else. They aren't going to go back and eat crow now.

Youtube is one of the busiest sites in the world. Literally millions of videos are watched every hour.

They have multiple servers each with their own count totals which are later added together. They also have millions of dumb hackers trying to boost idiotic videos to the front page using refresh programs that attempt to artificially boost count. Youtube has filters in place that prevent this for over 2 year now.

So two things IMO are happening here.

1. The video simply isn't as popular as you think it is. Youtube is highly competitive.

2. It is well known among ALL Youtube regulars that view counts are delayed only visually. Not for real. The number on your screen is delayed but Youtube is properly tracking all legitimate visits and will reflect that soon enough.

If the number is still low after a long while then that IS the actual number of Unique views per IP address. Plain and simple.

It takes a lot more than some movie stars name to get to the front page of Youtube. It takes true viral videos that have had at least hundreds of thousands of views. Not just a few thousand CT barking about view counts.

This is what I hate, when people who read the first page of a thread, and nothing more.

What about?

1. Deletion of Ratings?

2. Deletion of 10,000s of comments?

3. Deletion of Honors?

The view count is what I first noticed, and yes it appears to happens to lots of videos.

What about the rest? You would have known this is what is questionable now, not the stalled view count (which as it appears is a new Youtube flaw that affects tons of videos). Well, that may impact the most viewed stats, but what about the rest? This video has the most comments of a video in the last week, and yet it's not most discussed. So on, So forth....

If I could update my first page I would. Anyone how can I update the First Post? It will not let me.

Why write a paragraph plus response, when you didn't even read 1/12th the thread? No offense however, as I can no longer edit my first post, and Add update the controversy of this video.

Any casual reader, will just see the 303 comment problem and write it off.

It's bigger then that. Just go and watch the video's audience for ten minutes and watch the comments stream in.... 10s to the minute (for the majority of 3 days).

It's slowed down quite a bit, today. However, the censorship of this video in terms of front page coverage will kill of the video with the masses....

I'm guessing a minimum of 40,000 comments have been erased in said time...

For all those who want to know how I came to this conclusion.

Rate of the Comments per minute x 60 (minutes in an hour) x 72 (hours the video has been posted).

The view count is just a problem with Youtube's practices. It allows censorship to occur with Ratings, Comment counts, so forth.

And we will never know how many people truly watched the video...... But if you watched the video for the past 3 days, as I have, you will have seen the madness coming with the comments counts.... It's insane, how many comments came in for this video.

It's far greater then 17 k .

Twitchy, with all due respect - and I mean that sincerely - Charlie Sheen admitted to it. He did not just plea out in court, he has admitted he had a problem with alcohol, gambling, prostitutes, and that he has been physically violent with women in his life. Sorry but nobody had to spend any time and money on it. All they had to do was get a camera and ask nicely.

p.s. I like Charlie as an actor. I think he is a great comedic actor and seems like a genuinely sweet guy with some personal issues. I do not want him to be my friend, I want him to be my actor. As far as 9/11 goes - well good for him. Perhaps having a big name like that pusing for it, the movement can gain some legitimacy. That would be nice. I just think that we need to be honest with ourselves here.
