The only conspiracy I think exists is our current perception of reality. How the majority of the population perceives life is the biggest bold faced lie ever accepted.

Wow, very nice.
And so all CTs are merely spin-offs of this fact.
Venezuela is in crisis. Inflation is soaring. There are acute shortages of milk, eggs and meat. Violent crime is taking more than 100 lives every week. The government is in chaos. Corruption is draining the country's oil wealth.
These are the bulletins of Radio Caracas Television, the country's most influential private network. The theme is consistent: President Hugo Chávez is leading the country to ruin and if he is not stopped Venezuela will become a Cuba-style dictatorship. At midnight on May 27, however, RCTV will be stopped. Its bleak bulletins silenced because the government is refusing to renew its broadcast licence. Critics say an authoritarian hammer is crushing free speech and what is left of Venezuela's democracy. Supporters say the government is right to replace a channel notorious for lies, manipulation and anti-Chávez propaganda.
Tens of thousands of people marched in two rival rallies at Caracas last week, one mourning the decision, the other celebrating.
The director also defended Hitler and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and railed against the "powerful lobby" of Jews in America.
The Scarface screenwriter had even more encouraging words for socialist Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, who Stone called "a brave, blunt, earthy" man.
Well then lets point out 911 there's alot of questions that our government has refused to answer, and in not answering has brought out alot of raw emotions in people that previously was sleeping through the elections. If our own government can do this to its own people what the heck are they doing now and to other countries?I love my country I love what it was founded on, but now we are founded on lies, secrecy, and killing of innocent people(0ur sons and daughters included) and taking our freedoms. Its not vilification its wanting to know the truth.I refuse to live behind a rock and pretend it did not happen, our country needs the truth and until that happens you can call it whatever you want.We need a big change in D.C

Why is it better for America to pretend that the problems and issues don't exist?
Problems do exist. But its not black vs. white, its on a scale or spectrum. In relation to many other places, Americas problems are not that big.
Why is it a bad thing to point out the negative things?
Pointing out the negative is fine if its balanced out with the positive.
Ive been observing some posters here who do nothing other than vilify America/Europe and its politicians.
And what about foreclosure gate????

In this current thread you can see how conspiracy-theorists are championing Hugo Chavez because he seized Hilton Hotels. Rather than an act of theft it becomes an applaudable "act against the NWO".
when our country is run on a web of deceit, fbi, nsa, cia, msm I guess were kinda of lucky to get a truthful weather report. But I think since 911 people are just tired and pissed off and had enough of the lies and propaganda.

But would not a little paranoia of our own government attempting to do the same to us be healthy?
A dose of Skepticism toward ones leaders is fine. Fear, however, is a path to the dark side. So rather than fighting the perceived enemies, I invest my energy in supporting that which I think is good for the world.
This is very true, and if every one did what you do we would live in a great place, as long as what you and everyone else perceives as good in the world is the same thing LOL.
I get the point Sky, I'm just being funny.
But there does come a point when skepticism is not an option, and investing energy in what you think is good for the world requires a bit of paranoia.
