I would say Jones is clearing around 2-3million US$ per year after expenses running his little empire. Gives new meaning to the saying "laughing all the way to the bank". If you think for a second this guy is struggling to survive then you have been fooled twice. Based on his site rankings, voracious advertising and products he's rolling in it. It is much like the priest of a megachurch who exits the 25 million dollar church building, is escorted into his Mercedes limo and taken to his mansion. People just don't get it. It's about the MONEY.

This is the ONLY FACT and you are 100% right my friend. Even just a quick look on his homepage is enough, what he has in mind. He is talking about Socialism, but my ass. He is selling stupid Socialism tshirts. Just disgusting. It is just a good time to finish his career, credibility and make him expose. He is just another fraud who tries to manipulate people to gain cash.

How could this man damage my credibility or anyone else's. We all have a voice of our own and nobody made Alex Jones my personnel spokesman or anybody else's. Please get a grip on reality, which is something Alex Jones and his fans seriously need to do.

The real thing we should be look at is, why alex used such poor tactics.

Then we must look at what it was intended to acheive, the stunt used MSM tactics and has achived an MSM result, the 'truthers' are all busy fighting amogsnt themselves right before the anniversary of 9/11.

All because of alex, now i knew about the dec 31st 1999 scare he did, i decided in the end that he was prob just a bit young and naive and picked up some rubbish disinfo and ran with it. But what happened yesterday and the result of it, is possibly damage that can never be repaired. Even with all the other stunts hes pulled over time, ive let him off as just a bit of loudmouth who is far to quick to jump on a bandwagon, but was still useful.

Now that usefullness has ended and i cant help but wonder if he really was just a disinfo plant.

While the 'truthers' tear themselves apart, if the MSM does touch the sheen story it will rip it shreds, along with the credibility of anyone associated.
It almost seems like a planned staged op to descredit the 'truther movement'.

I hope im wrong about this.

Question:

So we know about the disclaimer issue at infowars.com....

Does anyone have any screenshots that shows he never had the disclaimer up at his other sites?

Or was it just on infowars that this occurred?

*We should get them all together in one place if this happened on more than one of his sites.

So... like... Charlie Sheen has his writing staff develop this skit, Charlie sent it to Alex Jones or some how Jones gets it in a e-mail, thinks it's real and Charlie lets him run with it.
u go Charlie

Any chance of Alex giving an official statement on this screw up or what?

I will wait until I see what he has to say before I pass too critical a judgment.

Not trying to crush grapes... But why where threads relating to this, the topic of a DIGG email sent by this site. When users never received emails before in regards to DIGG a story.

I saw this numerously stated in several threads.

Emails where received, telling users to DIGG the thread. They never received emails before....

Just wondering.

Alex has been actively destroying his own credibility in earnest since the beginning of the year and by doing so the entire 'truth movement.'
His ranting in the IFC documentary, his whole fear mongering Swine Flu flip flopping, his Joker tirade, his sponsoring a contest for folks to send in videos of in many cases committing crimes, and now this.
I have said it many times and covered it a lot in my blog that Alex Jones is NOT helping the movement in any way and in fact hurting it.
I don't really know if it's because the wheels have now come off and he's just starting to lose it or if he is being paid to be controlled opposition.
The timing is odd since the Obama becoming the UN Security Council chair news broke on the same day as this PT Barnum stunt.

Not wanting to spam or self promote, but I have written about this quite a few times on my blog: jonnyfrag.wordpress.com...

Look under the posts of Alex Jones is a fraud.

This is ridiculous, the timing was odd, being that the new 2½ men season starts airing in less than 2 weeks time.

Is Sheen using the 911 truth issue to boost the ratings of his show???

Jones has too many Council for National Policy members and Sovereign Military Order of Malta Members on his show.

Alex Jones is the WWF/WWE version of the truth/patriot movement.

Here is a link to a good article written by Lee Rogers, that disects this shameless self promoting by Jones and Sheen.

I too was disappointed to hear it was nothing more than a 'stunt' but.....
Just this morning I read on www.reuters.com..." target="_blank" class="postlink">Reuters The message has been heard, and that made it well worth while.

The way this story was sold was in no way different from the way the 'official story' of what happened was sold to us by the government, well...except Alex Jones & Charlie Sheen didn't kill anyone, kidnap anyone, deprive anyone of any constitutional rights when they perpetrated their 'hoax' on us to get us to believe what they had to say!

AND....the message was picked up by a MSM mouthpeice that will no doubt find it's way to millions of other MSM outlets, as they LOVE to regurgitate "what reuters said" most if not all the time.

I wont say that im new to this sort of stuff, i have been engrossed by the factual contradictions that have risen up through so many "explanations". I am hearing many people on here reffering to the damage that Alex has done to the "movement". Now i am very intrigued by this "movement" i believ it is the movement towards truth, or justice, or feasable explanations. I suppose my question is does this "movement" exist outside of the blogosphere? I see so many people with so many excellent things to say (and some nutballs) but logical and well informed people can only reach so many people on a comment page that is not very likely visited by people who do not share a similar viewpoint towards information.
How does one act to progress the "movement" past an internet community? Any suggestions?

I've been reading through most of this post and have some questions and comments.

First of all, I listen to many talk shows and read many websites daily. I try to get a good feel for what's going on in the world by listening to all sides.

Alex Jones is mainly entertainment for me because he rants and raves. And I laugh heartily. But I still enjoy listening because I get to hear about news articles I may not have ever found on my own. He's just one information resource out of many for me.

So many posters have called him a liar but did not prove what Alex lied about exactly. Just called him a few names and made no other comments or provided information. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to make it a decent debate, you gotta show something for the basis of opinions.

Of course Alex is in it for the money! All the talk show guys/gals are in it for the money! Do you expect to catch his show via morse code while he sits there in a monk habit and a rope for a belt and eat gruel three times a day?

That's just how talk radio works. It requires money. Money is needed to pay for bandwidth, equipment, building rent/purchase, employee salaries, etc. And Alex needs to support his family some how.

Whatever anyone does, they do it for the money. Most people have jobs, or they leech off the government or family. They do something to get money, so technically they are all just in it for the money. All the rest can be charity after the paycheck is collected, but sadly this is how the world works - it requires money to function. I don't agree with it, but it's just how things are right now until we collectively change it.

ALL talk radio has advertisements with the hosts spewing commercials about their sponsors and encourage listeners to support them by buying books, DVDs and stuff from the sponsors. Can't listen to even Dr. Stan without him plugging his book a few times a show.

I know Alex can greatly exaggerate some stories, but he still asks everyone to take the time to research on their own. Most people are either too lazy and want someone else to give them all the information while they sit back and do nothing, or are too busy trying to make ends meet and provide for a family. No one person is an expert to give everyone all the answers. It's just not possible. It's almost as if people are still wishing for a savior instead of going on their own to try to make a difference in the world. Alex is not a savior and never will be. He's just a regular guy who's trying to make some money in his life and try to do good at the same time. Isn't that what just about everyone is trying to do?

In my opinion Alex is trying to do too much too fast. And that's how mistakes are made. You guys are going on and on about how they left out the disclaimer and that makes them liars. You speak almost as if you were disappointed that the interview never really happened. And so you lash out like children, calling names, pouting and claiming that you'll never listen to him again. haha

Alex does not like Cooper because there was no definitive proof about the alien stuff. I liked Cooper, but even he got weird in the end. But I take all the alien stuff with a grain of salt because while I suspect there may be other life "out there" I have yet to see any definitive proof about it. All we have available is just rumor, opinion, funny lights in the sky and blurry images. I can't blame Alex for sticking with what he can prove through MSM articles and published books. He's formed his opinions based on that mainly.

I may not agree with everything that Alex does, but as I said above, he's only one informational resource out of many for me. But I have to applaud him for one reason - he's getting people out there to tear off the horse blinders and rose colored glasses and take a good look around for perhaps the first time. He's doing this through viral videos, and hyping up events. At least the topics are being discussed!! Maybe Alex is right, and maybe he's wrong. But at least he's doing something.

I don't see guys like Texe Marrs, Dr. Stan, or the Power Hour going viral! MSM doesn't talk about Jordan Maxwell, Michael Tsarion, or Anthony J Hilder! Who talk about those guys in the local coffee shop? Chances are 90% of the people have never even heard those names.

And Alex doesn't give credit to other researchers that opened conspiracy research doors so long ago, before he was even born. I am disappointed in that.

But to err is human. We all make mistakes.

This the OFFICIAL RESPONSE TO THE *HOAX*

www.prisonplanet.com...

Separately, a few other blogs were up in arms about Sheen’s letter being a “hoax” because the disclaimer clarifying that the meeting with Obama was a stylized fictional account and not a real event did not get added to the bottom of the article until a little later due to technical snafus and a bombardment of traffic that shut down servers and locked out Infowars and Prison Planet webmasters. With the Infowars version having been copied across from Prison Planet, both original versions did not contain the disclaimer until the error was brought to our attention and promptly fixed as soon as we could gain access to servers that kept crashing, as many readers noted at the time. We added the disclaimer as soon as possible as well as other information that should have been included at the bottom of the original article regarding Sheen’s appearance on the show. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and are trying to move our servers in house to prevent this routine occurrence from happening again.

Others expressed disappointment that the announcement wasn’t big enough, but as Alex Jones stressed on several occasions, Sheen’s letter is only the start of a chain of events that will put 9/11 truth firmly at the forefront of public attention during the week of the 8th anniversary since the tragic events of that day.

Well I actually read the article and the document and at the botton was a "Authors note: What you have just read didn’t actually happen… yet. "

Its that old trick the teacher use to play when giving one of those tests where you're supposed to read the whole test from top to bottom and then put your pencil down and then put your head on the desk.

Evidently from reading a lot of these negative comments here, a lot of people did not read the article from top to bottom. Now tell me who's fault is that? The people that did not actually read the whole article or the few it seems that actually did.
Another comment i read here is of the notion that Charlie Sheen went along with this Idea? For your information it was Charlie Sheen's Idea to do this the way he did it from the very beginning. The Idea was his and Alex Jones only helped him get it done. I know a lot here it seems don't like the way Alex Jones does things but hey do we really want EVERYBODY in the truth movement on any issue to all act and go through the motions like a robot? I personally like variety myself. I sure get the creeps if 50 people do the same thing like a production line with all the same speech patterns or the same way of doing things.

I for one listen to a lot of different radio broadcasters and a good number of different websites that push the same issues but in a different way of getting to the truth. What I don't listen to is radio broadcaster (A) trashing radio broadcaster (B) just because he or she does not like the way broadcaster (A) does things. A lot People in this truth movement really need to grow up to a emotional and logical standard they have not yet achieved.....fast! This dying Republic is at state and its no time for constant complaining about the way someone else in the truth movement does things.

Heck! Start your own radio show and do it better if you feel you can but do it by talking about the issues that are important. Not constantly trashing the other guy or gal because he or she is not your cup of tea.
Grow up and be men and women of honor instead of remaining boys and girls!Text

Excellent point, and was only the other week I was saying we need some form of political party, just something that represents people looking for truth, because the "9/11 Truth Movement" is nothing more than groups of people online, who most of the time can't even agree on what actually happened that day, so from the outside looking in, has, nor had any real credibility from the out start.

EXACTLY!!! How many people will have read the points addressed, that they wouldn't have before for whatever reasons. Yes most of us have seen it all before, but my mate Joe Public who wouldn't read anything attached to 9/11 conspiracy's, now has because of his interest in the President, and despite the fact he's read a fictional interview, he's also read a few facts that may open his eyes.
