I thought All News Web was blocked here I mean four threads everyone talking FOOTAGE and only one picture? In the video where is the video equipment that is set up for the 40 minute recording? I only see a hand held camera?

Scientists at the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing are reported to have confirmed that they filmed a UFO during the eclipse for 40 minutes.

Am I the only one here who knows that there is no such thing as a "40 minute eclipse"?

Most of you know what I think of using youtube or -- as sources for ANYTHING without finding corroboration.

That first video looks a little suspicious to me. The 2nd video looks like a silver Mylar helium balloon floating by, maybe the heart-shaped type. But neither of these is the sighting reported in the OP are they? That looked different.

1st vid: At the end, Chinese experts conclude that's a bird as the area where the photo was taken has a lot of white color birds (some specific species I can't translate)

2nd vid: At the end, they reference the "flying rods" phenomenon as a possible answer.

Thanks postmeme, I had to re-watch that first video after seeing your translation. That IS a bird! I could see the flapping motion the 2nd time but, I missed it the first time, I was too busy looking at the still image and didn't pay enough attention to the movie part showing the bird! So their explanation is right on that video.

As for the flying rods explanation in the 2nd video, we know there's no such thing so we can't accept that explanation. I still say it just looks like a silver mylar balloon.
