Because I asked, that's how.
When I was driving by I saw the logo, but too quickly to determine exactly what it was.
Thankfully, they were talking to some folks outside. So I went back and talked to them also.

But yeah, I am being completely sarcastic.
That did actually happen, except for the Houston part. I don't know where they were from.
I just thought it was funny considering I spent about half the night clowning around in this thread last night and then actually did see some Homeland Security folks going into a diner today.

Heck, even the folks I was joking around with last night think I was being serious.

I had posted this on one of my earlier threads...but Ive been seeing this ALOT in my town, Rolla Missouri..and this is a small college town...but it sure as hell caused my skin to prickle!! The skull emblem was enough to raise hackles.

Seriously..it might not be anything..but what do you think?

I am going to keep this short and sweet. Believe me or not, it doesn't matter. I am just throwing it out there... what Warren's friend in the National Guard was told has been verified to me via several sources. I am sorry I can not be more specific.

From I am told as soon your ATM card doesn't work, that is as soon as the banks shut down, I will say you have about 48 hours to get out.

Also if you think for some reason you might be near the top of the "list" I suggest spending the night at someone else house if you can not make it out of the city.

Be warned, people!

The most likely reason your military are practising and making use of emergency camps is for civil unrest. The govnerment are preparing for the worse scenario. What would you say if they weren't prepared?

If TPTB have to impose quarantine for a week it is a whole different ball game to Mexico shutting down for a week. The US food, water and energy supplies operates "Just-In-Time". Most food shops get supplies of food from their distant storage hubs on a daily basic and if these supplies stop food will quickly run out. Power stations wont get their fuel etc... I am sure you get the picture. This may lead to civil unrest, hence the preparedness of the Government.

You realize that there are alot of us who are still fairly well connected in the information ring, right?

In December, if nothing has happened, your credibility here will be shot. What excuse will you make then? That your awareness of the situation and disbursement of the facts led to a halt in these plans?

We ALL know something's coming. Could be next week, could be next year. But change is inevitable and change can only come through conflict. There's nothing out of the ordinary here.

However, I will be watching for my ATM to stop working. That is a dire premonition. It will most certainly mean the magnetic strip has failed and I will have to get a new card. Or... the horror... I might wind up in an embarrassing situation at Luby's.

I know this is a silly request, but there seems to be a lot more unsubstantiated information here.

Is there any way you and/or others could post some kind of corroborative sources for any of what you are hearing?

Just for the heck of it, I have contacted a person I know that works for the DHS and others who work in various related agencies, federal state and even local... If there was anything going on these people would know about it... And there is absolutely NOTHING outside of normal or previously scheduled activity, drills, training etc. No special orders, alerts or anything that would indicate any kind of preparation for anything other than normal activity.

If there was anything strange going on, I would have been at least given a hint by one of these contacts.

Can you at least throw out something more than what you have heard?

If not I am going to call this all BS until someone can produce something conclusive here.

Rocky Flats can be removed from your list of targets, it was closed down (my company was involved in the cleanup). You can add PCD (Pueblo Chemical Depot). I've been on that base many times, I'd think it would be a target.

Ah... more undisclosed sources with proof no one can see. So... any chance you can at least disclose the sort of documentation that you saw? I'll stay on the "not believing" bandwagon unless you can produce a bit more. If I had a dime for every time someone had secret info from an undisclosed source that ended up being false... (which incidentally, has been every single time — these things never come to fruition).

Perhaps it would be better for this to happen, so many people will realize, and learn that despite some faults that the U.S. has had, it was better not only for Americans, but for the whole world to keep in check those nations you mentioned, as well as others.

Not to mention the fact that we would be open to attack by some of those same nations, including their sleeper cells which can be activated at any time by nations, and groups of people, including some people within our government, including the entire Obama administration which is obviously involved in this, to destroy the Republic of the U.S.

But at the same time it saddens me that something like this would happen, because of the innocent people that would suffer, and the innocent people that would die, but because it would put us in line for the One World Socialist regime to take over, and that is a lot worse than anything the U.S. has done in the past to limit the expansion of true Socialism/Communism.

I'm tired of people citing "Occams Razor" everytime they want to discredit something.

When it comes to lying, when it comes to our government, when it comes to complex financial institutions, there is no such thing as Occams Razor. Plots, greed, conspiracy, lies----these are complex situations, often twisted many times over and hard to dissect.

To say that the simplest explanation (especially when it comes to our government) is often the right explanation is not always true. Those that always invoke the razor to get to the truth often do an injustice to the truth.

Being former military (regular active duty US Army) myself I know there is a slight chance that this could be actual good info but more likely isn't the scale of the threat some here are imagining. From the way I understood the OP the Captain told the other service member to get his family out of the "metro city" they're currently residing in. Being this is the NG we're talking about we're talking about a threat to certain city confined to a certain state. Typically that state's National Guard would be the first military presence to respond if any such event imaginable took place. If there is some knowledge of a threat to a certain city which could be some rather minor events compared to the doom and gloom some have warned against. To draw a better conclusion of the possibilities it'd be nice to know at least what state we're talking about here. Although I am very concerned about the future outcome and ramifications of swine flu and the vaccines I highly doubt this is related as from the information given so far I think this is more of a localized threat to an area. (if this is even a true threat.)

Saying that if I knew which state we're talking about I'd start investigating the larger cities within state. I would look at such things like could that city be having any problems funding their local law enforcement, does that city have a high crime rate (which would be more of a problem during civil unrest) and/or is home of any known domestic terror groups just to name a few.

With the skull fetish I have I was sort of wondering the same thing? I would certainly be concerned to see these vehicles rolling down my street.

i sincerely wish i owned property out in a remote area. i would be on the verge of packing it up and moving there if it was an option. it's only a matter of time before america as we knew it will no longer be. i fear it will look like nazi germany before it's over.

Occam's Razor states that the simplest solution is usually the correct one. The corollary is that the simplest solution is usually the hardest to implement. A razor cuts both ways. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. That doesn't make it the best route.

When human nature comes into play, Occam's Razor no longer applies unless you're dealing with a deaf, mute, mentally handicapped quadriplegic. If people want to cite it, let them. If it makes sense, all the better.
