Nice read, but it doesn't have to be Obama saying that. Almost any politician in office right now would act the same way. We need to replace them all.

Yes. Obama arguing against providing free health care for everyone and against environmental remedies. You people need to decide why hate him - You can't say you hate him for doing too much for the environment and also for not doing enough. You're afraid the government is gaining too much power but you don't like prosecuting politicians who authorized the false imprisonment of US Citizens and torture and illegal wiretapping. If I wrote Obama on a scarecrow, you people who burn it and beat it. I just wish you'd admit that you really don't care what he says or does - you'll hate him just the same.

Dear admriker444

Good thread.

The problem is the Government, the money the system.

Sorry they are all symptoms not the problem.

The problem is us, Human beings.

I'm really hoping the list of authors on that dummies guide doesn't read as follows:

H. Kissinger
P. Wolfowitz
R. Perle

That is rather humorous indeed as it is just conceivable that our Government would seek weaponry instead of intelligence, making the world safer, or something that Washington D.C. has none of, compassion.

So, would this conversation fall under Foreign Policy?

Funny, although it seems Obama actually has a better understanding of the Policy than our last president ever did....

As humorous as that is... that's probably not far off from how first contact really went (or will go).

It's also quite humorous that so many who post here on political subjects turn their negative focus on Obama as though they were born at the beginning of his presidency and the preceding eight years never occurred.

Where were you during the Bush years?

I don't think it's just about Obama here. It really wouldn't make sense to have that be a picture of Bush would it? I mean, he's not our president anymore.

Let's face it, it's not like their foreign policy is all that much different anyway is it?

And Bush/Obama or Rep/Dem isn't the focus at all here, I don't see how it got to that, but it sure seems to alot around here. These labels sure seem to find their way into a lot of threads they don't belong in.

And for they guy that asked if this is real? LOL I wish I could read a convo between our government and an alien and be able to think it is real without second guessing! No offense or anything, but step back and re-read the OP and then your statement again. If you can't pick on yourself sometimes life is no fun! Star for you my friend!

Nice imaginary dialog, and I appreciate the concept, but any TRULY advanced being would have nothing to do with any politician in the world as we know it, IMO. The tired old notion of a spacecraft landing on the White House lawn is ludicrous in the most extreme. The currently dominant or most prevalent concept of government-politics, I would think, is as important to them as a dog's chew toy is to us. Most folks on this rock just look like slobbering, growling and barking idiots to them.

Hehe, I'll give communist China a try:

Alien: I don't understand, you take responsability on feeding and providing free benefits such as education and health to everyone, yet you are doing worse than the US, why?

China: Guards! Put this creature in prison.

Alien: Prison? Obama explained that to me, why am I going to prison?

China: Because I never gave you permission to speak. Bye!

i recall reading some research done that indicated President Eisenhower may have met with aliens. There was a brief period of a few hours where the President's whereabouts was unaccounted for.

I forget the details, something about the press being told Eisenhower went to a dentist. Dunno how that meant he sat down with an alien though.

I doubt Glk Glk was there. He was only 700 back then and wasnt ready to deal with savage primates (he hates the smell)

China is not doing worse than the states... .where do you get your info - Fox News?

And your comedy is probably exactly what a lot of Americans thinks of China - provided they can even find it on the map.
