The most obvious smoking gun IMO is the smoke, the massive pyroclastic (flow) cloud... which are known to be caused by explosive energy.. typical of volcanic eruptions and controlled demolitions.

According to the The US Geological Survey, a pyroclastic flow requires explosive energy to generate the necessary heat, dust, and debris.
