Kabul a #hole? It's only a #hole because of foreign invasion and other countries bombing the crap out of it. For someone that is supposedly informed on the country, the religion, and the war you really know very little. Kabul was a beautiful and very prosperous city before all the wars. In fact Afghanistan was a developed country as well with a thriving economy. I've talked to LOTS of Afghanis that lived there before the wars, before the Taliban. You act like the Taliban has been running that country for the last 50 years. Taliban this Taliban that. Who the hell do you think created the "Taliban". Who knows what Afghanistan and Kabul would have looked like nowadays if Russia and US kept their nose out of there.

Plus you can blame the usual culprits in the crappy history of Afghanistan.............THE BRITISH! Just like the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is a result of the British Empire so is the Afghanistan situation in many regards.

And one of the most important continents in the world.......Africa. Many of Africa's problems are a direct result of British imperialism and colonialism. I mean let's be honest.............an measly little island full of people doesn't become a world super power for a several hundred years by playing nice.

Don't get me started on the British...Whatever you claim they've done in other places in the world, I know for a fact that they did it here in America. Their actions here are legendary. In this place the British have shown their contempt for even other Europeans...the Dutch, the French and the Spanish primarily. I've started a number of hate threads specifically targeting them and will probably do a few more before the year is out.

Because I know however that America was sent to Afghanistan and Iraq to be destroyed so as to preserve the life and reputaton of the British and their descendants, I am offended by Taliban and Al Qaeda types mentioning America from their mouths. If that's what you all believe...I really have no problem with sitting back and watching those people live in that bombed-out toilet til the stars burn from the sky.

The Taliban isn't ready to do anything...they just think they are...there was a thread started, by me, concerning the topic of who is financing the Taliban...the article suggested that it is America, through our own activities in the region, indirectly providing the Taliban with finances through the Taliban's extortion of the corrupt Afghan government.

The Taliban received support from Pakistan when they were in power between 1996 to 2001...critical support that if they hadn't had, they probably would have never taken power in the first place...Assuming this assistance is still available...I wonder how long that will last when the Taliban's religious quirks lead it into conflict with the Indians and Pakistan has to make a choice between a good relationship with the Taliban or with India. Maybe the Taliban are gonna start sending bombers to Xinjiang to get revenge on the Chinese for killing Uyghurs or to Turkmenistan to get revenge on the Russians for allowing the Americans to use their bases to ship our imperialist forces supplies...where does the list end? For the Afghan people and the Taliban and Al Qaeda it does not end only war, with everyone, forever.

The Afghan people need to check their hate and stop counting on some myth of Afghanistan being the rock upon which empires are broken...sure, its a great belief if it helps them to endure a righteous struggle against a true invader, but against America their resistance is not righteous and your brothers, playing what they consider to be a game, have brought the American's to that place and destruction down upon the Afghan people. Only God knows the true reason America is in that place right now, but we ain't the British and our past is squeaky clean and we will leave that place fully intact. The Afghan people may not.

If you only realized what an American really is you would clearly see that getting revenge against us is not possible as we have never done anything to you or anyone else to justify your revenge. For this reason alone...those groups are totally screwed.

The Taliban have been doing well in recent years due to support by the population of Afghanistan. American, the worlds most powerful and richest nation has not been able to succeed in Afghanistan after 8 years, what makes you think they will manage anything later? It is ridicules, Afghans don't want you, it is as simple as that, but you don't seem to get it.

Why you don't seem to get it is due to the fact that you think Afghans somehow want Democracy, they don't want it. Most Afghans directly believe in Islam and Sharia and they want it to be implemented in their country. Just like Americans who believe in Democracy and want it to be implemented in their country. If you seem to think that Afghans would just let an occupier get away with enforcing their own ideas on others then you are just kidding yourself.

Every one has learned their lesson except America. America just like other world's most powerful nations AKA imperialists are arrogant, meaning they think they can do what ever they want because they are powerful. And history shows that it doesn't go that way.

Reading your words provide me with great insight in the mind of Cain. In the west we don't have much info on that particular character, but you really have it nailed down.

I don't know that they want Sharia...I don't know if they even know what that is. I think they want to live peaceful lives. I think you are a liar...or yourself confused.

If the Afghan people don't want the Americans there...then why did they allow their land to be used to attack us? Surely they should have known there would be a heavy price to pay. Surely they should know we aren't leaving until the men we came to kill are verifiably dead.

Surely the Afghan people are aware of all these Truths I write. They do realize that the Americans can field an Army in your country indefinately...as our economy supports such adventures. We've been in Japan for 64 years and South Korea 58.

As far as your assertions of an occupation....that is Fiction...no such arrangement exists at least from our point of view. Did the Taliban tell the Afghan people that as well. We are in the country lawfully; doesn't Tamerlane own Kabul or something?

At least give the young ones a chance at having a decent life man. Don't send all of your children off to die as a result of your lies.

Labeling me a liar and a terrorist in one post truly shows your Character. When two ideas collide, their will definitely be name calling. Once again you just can't believe that the Afghan people might not want Democracy, or might want Sharia. It is as if you have been brainwashed. Or maybe you do not accept things outside your comfort. I don't know you tell me.

If the Afghan people don't want the Americans there...then why did they allow their land to be used to attack us? Surely they should have known there would be a heavy price to pay. Surely they should know we aren't leaving until the men we came to kill are verifiably dead.

See if you weren't miss informed you would know the fact that there is no proof connecting Osama with the 9/11. If you weren't miss informed then you would have known this:

On 21 September 2001, the Taliban responded that if the United States could bring evidence that bin Laden was guilty, they would hand him over, stating there was no evidence in their possession linking him to the 11 September attacks.

Wikipedia
Do you know what America said in response? I will put it in simple words, America basically said we don't give a F@CK. In more formal words:

This counter offer was immediately rejected by the U.S. as insufficient.

Wikipedia
Bomb the hell out of an already bombed country and then occupy it for reasons you haven't even provided evidence for, is what I call bull# pretext. It is just embarrassing that a grown man can be fooled so many times in his life time.

Surely the Afghan people are aware of all these Truths I write. They do realize that the Americans can field an Army in your country indefinately...as our economy supports such adventures. We've been in Japan for 64 years and South Korea 58.

Sure they can, actually your economy is in a very bad situation. I don't know if it got a beating from the greedy bankers or the greedy policies influenced by greedy bankers, in the end your economy doesn't look good. Japan and Korea, lol, the people are not fighting America. That is where the mis-understanding is. You just don't seem to get that Afghans don't want you. It is fairly embarrassing if you think about it. You are saying they love us, they need us and they want us, but in reality it is the opposite.

You don't believe Afghanistan have been occupied, wow sounds so similar to the USSR propaganda. They said the same exact thing, but it is alright, they lost a lot of territory due to it and when America is ass kicked from Afghanistan, she will loose a lot of territory as well, especially in middle east.

The middle east territory is needed for the American economy to thrive, with out it America would be just another country trying to survive. At the moment it is feeding, like a leach.

The Taliban and Al Qaeda were playing the big game and they are losing...they gave up Afghanistan willingly, all part of their "master" plan...they had hoped this whole thing was gonna be over back in 2005. Ask Zawahiri, he never thought it would last this long...in the summer of 2005 he had hoped for an event similar to something that went down in Vietnam...but it didn't happen.

I've read their holy books and their sacred literature...I know exacatly what it is that they need and what they are waiting for. No military solution is not just a problem for one side, but for both. America leaving would just mean the Taliban would be responsible for cleaning up a bombed out sh1thole called Kabul, with no international assistance and no money of their own and the poppy crop won't even be close to being enough.

So when you guys get through trying to convince people that you know how much money and wealth America has or that the Taliban's current strategic position is desirable or a part of their plan...lets just get back to this war.

FYI...what is it that the Taliban and Al Qaeda and/or the global terror movement NEED for their Jihad to be successful...?

They need to gain control over just a single special household and they are not even close.

That's what they've been doing for the last 20 years and are worse off now than at any time in History....Don't believe me? You should ask somebody.

Just catching your input. You really know what you're talking about.

There's just so much fantasy talk or repeated propaganda going around I was wondering if anyone had aclue about what's going on over there.

The Americans are incredibly confused over there. It just isn't like what the boardroom strategists said it would be.

The US finds itself do Western interests heavy lifting across the globe, while Europeans offer disparaging criticism, and the Muslim world looks for opportunities to demonstate outaged indignation at their persecution by the Great Satan.

The belief that the war with the Soviet Union causes their final collapse is still taken as Gospel. The belief now is the US will see their own downfall through ongoing asymmetrical warfare with the Muslim world. That they'll get worn down eventually.

IF America fails it won't be because of this campaign in Afghanistan.

Thanks again for your insights.

Mike

Look...by me calling you a liar...I am not calling you names...I am telling you that what you are saying is a lie.

Our differences are not based on opinion...you repeat polical rhetoric and I am telling you that the Taliban is finished, caput, and everyone that listens to them is going to come into violent contact with something they don't have to. The Taliban is not prepared to take over governance of Afghanistan and even if they did...it would fail. I am saying that what the Afghan people want or do not want is not relevent to the discussion concerning what is happening in their country.

The powerful peasants of Afghanistan...the conqueror of Empires has just realized something awful...what they are fighting isn't an Empire.

Can I ask you a question, do you actually read what I post or do you just skim through and say dang he is lying, and I am telling the truth.

See if I call you a liar, I will prove it, I will tell you where you are putting forth a lie like for example:

I am telling you that the Taliban is finished, caput,

Now I'm gonna say you are lying and here is why:

The West is indirectly funding the insurgency in Afghanistan thanks to a system of payoffs to Taleban commanders who charge protection money to allow convoys of military supplies to reach Nato bases in the south of the country.

www.timesonline.co.uk...

Now when you guys are paying tax to Taliban what does that mean? That means that Taliban is not finished, caput and you are lying. Get it?

Here is more proof:

KABUL, Afghanistan (CNN) -- August has become the deadliest month for the U.S. military in Afghanistan since the U.S. invasion after the attacks of September 11, 2001.

www.cnn.com...

WOW once again every evidence that we have shows that Taliban is not finished, caput. Are you lying?

Our differences are not based on opinion...you repeat polical rhetoric and I am telling you that the Taliban is finished, caput, and everyone that listens to them is going to come into violent contact with something they don't have to. The Taliban is not prepared to take over governance of Afghanistan and even if they did...it would fail. I am saying that what the Afghan people want or do not want is not relevent to the discussion concerning what is happening in their country.

See you just say things, you don't tell us why, as if you have no power of reasoning in you. You say 'The Taliban is not prepared to take over governance of Afghanistan and even if they did...it would fail.' Now reason with me, why is that?

You say 'I am saying that what the Afghan people want or do not want is not relevent to the discussion concerning what is happening in their country.', now tell us why it is not relevant. It is like Afghans invading America and then saying what Americans want or not is not relevant. Wait a minute, who the hell is Taliban, they are the Afghan people and they are fighting you, so yeah it is relevant.

I have come to conclusion that you have no sense of reasoning, I have come to conclusion that I could have finished my report regarding DCN by now if I hadn't wasted my time here with you and it is just sad for me and you. It just makes me feel like going out for a smoke.

Don't take anything I say personally, I'm just trying to find the truth just like you, I think the different is that I have been in this path for a long time and you haven't.
