A good reason to not release information that concerns the entire human race?

What 'good' reason could that be?
Do you think maybe we're dealing with something frightening here?
But, even still we should know about it.

Maybe the government (or 'mommy and daddy' ) have shot themselves in the foot.
There's been a whole line of these 'leaders' lying to us, and now maybe they realize they were wrong in doing so. "We shouldn't have screwed with their minds" they might think
...or perhaps things have gotten really complicated.

Honestly, I can sympathize a little with the leaders of our world...would you know what to say to a population headed to 7 billion?
How do you try to keep these people in line?
What do you say?

And on top of that...the whole system is screwed. There's no universal language, there's misinformation, people are believing what they've been told...it's out of control. Pandemonium.

Well, anyway, it seems whatever is going on, I get the feeling our 'leaders' are pulling a Rumsfeld. Now it's, "screw everyone!"

I was under the impression that this was a hoax pulled on Art Bell by two of his friends. I don't remember exactly who, Strieber comes to mind..

yea - let me better define that - Good reason to them at the time to cover it up. Now they have to keep covering it up to protect the lies.

Good reasons could include - in the 40/50's People had a whole lot more religion than they do today, to suddenly introduce aliens could cause panic, and major trust issues. all we have known is suddenly different.

agreed- this would be the first time I have heard it was a hoax perpetrated on Art Bell, and why would Whitley Streiber, a friend of Art's do this to him in such a public way ? No, not Whitley, he makes his bread and butter off the Ufology subject, no way he would get involved in a public hoax and soil his own reputation and that of his friend.
Art gave Whitley his Sunday night block buster radio show- Dreamland when he retired. Not something one would do after being punked. To bad Whitley drove it off a cliff.

They want us to think we still trust them.

Maybe if they didn't lie to us in the first place (ehem...by using religion and still covering it up today) they wouldn't have to worry about 'scaring' us?

How is it any scarier than frightening people to go to hell? They instill fear in everyone by any means necessary.

There must be something more to this...unless if they just want us to themselves for some reason.

Perhaps our governments have been infiltrated and some in our governments know or at the very least suspect something terrible, we do not because we know nothing and because we are so utterly divided on the subject we do not discern what truth is in this context.

Could it be that our governments consider that this “love frequency” angle is just a means to enslave us in a covert way? Please don’t burn me, I want to believe this whole love thing, but when I reflect too much on it I get a feeling that perhaps this is a great way to enslave a vast population that is us.

By not letting humanity in on the possibility that they have been enslaved by shackles that comes packaged with love and talk of higher spiritual dimensions we could be giving away everything for nothing more than beads and trinkets?

Maybe trade and commerce is not an inherent human thing and it is the way things are achieved in the wider galactic community also. I hate the money game so I hope I am outright wrong I really do.

I also hope I am just having a negative moment because I have kids, I have a wife I love dearly, it would be much better to get behind the love frequency and believe ET is here to help but something just seems wrong and I cannot put my finger on it.

No offense to this guy...but to only bring out one tape and then solely depend on everyone to believe it is beyond naive...maybe instead of blaming us (the believers) he might want to blame himself for going along with this charade when he did at the time of the original film....

He has no-one to blame but himself. It's because of agencies and men like him that we have to search and dipict whats true or not. So in the end- regardless if the video is real or fake- it doesn't even matter. We won't ever get a solid answer. This man also appears to be quite old...Why not show your face and who you are? Ultimately he wants everyone to assume its real obviously and he just doesnt understand the amount of lies and how many times we've been duked or fooled. This man is part of the problem. Stop giving us little clues, hints, and clips and bring out the tons of evidence that you've been exposed to!

I kind of dislike that it has to come back to this...but it sounds very much like a reptilian thing. I've heard they don't like this frequency.

So really we have nothing to fear (we only have to love), but really it's them who fear.

He explained that he had a window of time to snatch this footage for the world to see.
He didn't have to do it, but he did it for humanity.

This is all he could do, and I think it's more than enough what he did.

"Victor" seemed paranoid and yes in 2008 he sounded much more decrepit. He was completely drained.

He has reason to be a little upset. After 11 years after risking/ruining his entire life...and for what? For us to all sit here and give this guy a bunch of BS.
This was and always has been the real deal.

Again I am sorry it's not good enough for some people.

Put yourself in "Victor's" shoes. Imagine 2 minutes of footage like that (with no audio to protect identity of others) and you fear your life. It's exposed....and then....nothing.

You're getting very irritated by the fact that people aren't satisfied by someone in a mask claiming there are aliens. What irritates me is when people blindly believe a two minute video clip that's being narrated by someone who doesn't even have the conviction to put his reputation on the line. That doesn't equal truth or evidence to me, it equals drama and platitudes.

Someone who can only get you to believe through feelings doesn't deserve the time to speak. Show us evidence. The interview video was fine, but it seems to me like too many people are spending their time trying to figure out who Victor is and what's going on with him, rather than looking at the evidence he presented.

I didn't say Strieber for sure. It WAS someone that appeared regularly on his old show. Their speech patterns and choice of wording were strikingly similar. As far as the OP. Man, don't piss on my back and tell me it's rainin.
I'll assume for the purpose of debate that this footage is real. Alright, how was the person filming allowed to take a recording device into this beyond a doubt, HIGHLY SENSITIVE area? I believe the security around this event would be unprecedented and unallowing of a camera phone or camcorder.
Don't ya think someone else in the room would have seen this person filming and proper action taken once discovered?
Ok, let's proclude that this footage is real, was recorded with a phone or other device. Perhaps even being a Government video for purpose of documentation. Very well. If it was so damn important to them to document this, how was it ever allowed to escape? Did the employee simply walk right out the door with the video and keep it for himself? Did he take it home for a few days so he could take copies? Bullsh*t!
MIB's would have swooped down on him and corrected this breach of security at the very moment of discovery. If all of this took place and this was being filmed by them, they never let something so important out. This reminds me of the "X-Files" episode where Mulder swaps bodies with the MIB Agent. He then attempts to sneak out a black box from a top secret aircraft with amazing properties. If you want to believe this fantasy, that's fine and you have every right to. I believe that there probably is an intelligence visiting us past/present, but it going to take alot more than a self-professed ufo mechanic or some shady video as proof of evidence on such an important topic.

This is still a good debate after all this time.

Considering his speech patterns and level of emotion, using my intuition I feel he IS telling the truth. I do see the case the skeptics make against this, however I still think he is real. He already got paid....why remain upset that nothing has come from his interview. He gets upset at the right times when probed for specifics which might reveal his identity. His demeanor to me suggests true emotion.

I agree the silhouette is similar to B.Dean. However, I have heard all of his interviews and I can confirm that his speech patterns are very different. Also, Dean has been out in the open for some time. I don't see the motive for a hoax perpetuated by him.

The problem I have with 'Victor' is that he is upset we have not done anything. While I disagree with this I also wonder what has he done? Why not give us something more to go on? Telling us there are aliens the gov't are working with is old news. We know this already. We need information pointing in a direction which would lead to NEW information. The problem is he gave us nowhere to go.

When he said the ET generally gives more spiritual information than anything else...this is what convinced me also. I think this is accurate. Knowing that, why does this person fear death? We don't really die anyway. If he wants this information out and in the right hands then why not join the disclosure project? Damn the consequences. Like the others, if you are talking you make yourself a hard target. If you give select info away anonymously, you are an easy target. No one would notice when you disappear.

Perhaps this is why we are having this discussion. He was not out in the open enough and he 'got himself disappeared'.

I know someone asked if you're Victor and you said no, but I don't buy that at all.

If you put the "Victor" voice to anything you've said here, you'd sound like an exact copy.

1.) You defend the video as if your life depends on it.
2.) Your ID and avatar (that's a shot of "Victor" which includes a link to the video in it) implies you're Victor.
3.) Have felt the need to say you gain nothing from this. "Victor" had a thing for saying that.
4.) Religion has nothing to do with this thread topic and you keep bringing it up.
5.) You are trying to force what you believe is true on people with nothing concrete at all and attacking people who won't accept it that quick. You know, like "Victor".
6.) "Victor" comes off as overly-dramatic (drama queen as some would say) you do the exact same thing.

Now I see how easy it is to have "proof" of who someone is.

I can guarantee I am not "Victor". I don't know how else to prove that. I only have my word.

I said I am more of a fan of the video. I had nothing to do with making it. If I did I'd tell you all I knew about it from that perspective.

I am just a fan of the video is all. I don't mean for what I say to come across as being an advertisement for it. "the alien interview" is a real important and in-your-face video and hard proof that there is Alien life.
There's no question. Especially taking into consideration of all the ancient evidence for intelligent life aiding humans.

I haven't seen footage any better than what "Victor" provided of an actual Alien being. The time it was made and just everything about it indicates it's the real deal.

Now, about the bible references...first off to me the Bible is fictional stories, metaphor, primitive thought, and a complete throw-off. It's all muddled and it's almost enough to completely discard it entirely.
But, there is something there...some hidden truths.
Something happened in ancient times that we haven't really seen since.
"Victor" was completely on the right track when he spoke about the bible. I just happen to agree with him.

I am very certain I am not "Victor", but just for fun we can pretend I am him if you'd like.

Haha it is January 8th 2016 and it just so fascinating that I'm another person just like you who looked at this alien situation and wondered where "Victor" went. More then half a decade later I'm here trying to figure out if that alien was real or not. That just shows us something about us humans, we love to explore but when we get right down to the dirt, the answer is in front of our faces. Its just not believable that we're the only species in this entire universe? Out of the infinite number of galaxies out there there wouldn't be one simple sign of life. Of course there has to be!

Someday after I've reached 20 posts maybe I'll post something about it. I've looked into everything about the "alien interview" and believe that there are only 2 probable outcomes. The first would be that it is real. The 2nd would be that it was all a hoax fabricated by Rocket Pictures (notably dir. Jeff Broadstreet) and Sean Morton.... sadly I do believe this is the most likely explanation.

There's no way we will ever know unless someone can convince the people who created the documentary to be interviewed.
