Hmm just found this interesting company:

Electro Optic Space Systems Pty Limited (EOS)

www.eos-aus.com...

This was under products and services

Space Ablation

Ablation is “the process of generating forces on objects by means of surface interactions with energy projected from a distant point”. Laser beams, directed from earth to intersect with objects in space, generate significant forces if the interaction is carefully controlled.

Up until now, the only way to avoid space debris was to adjust your course around it to prevent a collision. EOS is now fine-tuning technology that will allow pieces of space debris and other objects in space to be physically maneuvered into a different orbit using long range high power plasma beam (ablation).

You guys need to lighten up a bit, I haven't seen anything in this thread posted by you that disproves what Zorgon has presented. So far all you have done is blow smoke up his chimney and tried to derail the thread. I guess I'm saying "Put up or Shut up"....Nice post Zorgon.

Nothing has been derailed, it has been kept on topic, and as for "blow smoke up his chimney", this is what happens when you present evidence, it gets examined.

So, perhaps you could explain what you would like putting up
