Through the looking glass....

Hi everyone

Now after doing my recent remote tarot experiment, I thought it would be cool if anyone wanted to try this----
I'm sure quite a few people on here will already be familiar with this and will have tried it before, but we can post the results and see if there are any similarities.

THE MIRROR-----I found this to be very spooky but also very intriguing

now do it at night, with just a bit of background lighting such as a candle burning so you can see your face in the mirror.
Look into your face, really stare into it, and watch the transformation unfold.
Use the magic eye technique if you are able, otherwise just stare long and hard without blinking too much.
And watch yourself change.

I did it over the past 2 nights----
On the first night I changed into at least 3 different people which was mega-trippy
and the right side of my face was totally bruised and battered. Looked like I'd been badly beaten up there.
My eyes were extremely prominent as well.
Really big !!!


On the second night I vanished----that really spooked me !!


Its also said that if you do this at midnight, you can see yourself age.
I have'nt tried that yet--it could be just a myth ???

I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now.

It sure is freaky, I'll give you that.

I'm just afraid that I am becoming addicted to doing this..No joke..

What I do is stare into my right eye.

After a couple of minutes, it gets very foggy.I wear glasses and it's just like they are fogged up.

Then I shift my gaze ever so slightly and look at a completely different person.

I have been black, white, with hair and without ( I'm bald by the way)

The freakiest was once I saw what I can only describe as a neanderthal.

Haven't seen a woman yet,,,

like I said...addicting..

When I completely vanished it was WOW !!

They do say that mirrors interact with a persons soul as well--the reflection you see normally in the mirror is actually your soul.
So maybe when we see different people appear, it could be maybe forms we have taken in different incarnations through time itself !!

This sounds like fun.

I will start the experiment tonight.

The only thing I won't do is look into the mirror at midnight. I see myself ageing already and it might be a downer to see myself even older.

I shall let you know what happens.

I did it again last night but missed midnight by a couple of mins, so I'll try that tonight.
I looked alien last night ---its my eyes !!!
They turned really big and seemed to be a lot further apart---very weird
also my face looked really drawn.

It's certainly pretty strange stuff x

I don't know if any of you have ever tried doing it with 2 people
One sat on a chair in front of the mirror and the other stood behind.

You stare into the face of your partner in this, and you'll see them change.

I really don't know if this is again a myth---but I was told that the faces you see in your partner are your guardian spirits or angels

When I did it with my daughter, I saw 3 different men in her face and she saw quite clearly her dead grandfather in mine.

OK, so I have decided that I am somewhat of a Wuss!!

See I got a camera this spring for when I go out into the bush. It has night vision and a remote control.

So here I am thinking, wouldn't it be great to get all set up, wait until I am seeing someone else, and take a picture.

Now I am almost positive that it's all in my head and I'm seeing past lives of mine. BUT..If I took a picture and it showed ANYTHING other than myself staring into the mirror, I would freak. (Probably run around the house gathering up all my mirrors and throwing them out)

But I can't help but think about it. Maybe someday when I'm bored of it all I'll do it, but have decided I'm too chicken right now.

Okay i am willing to do this when i get a chance. Does it have to be done in the dark or with very low lighting or could i just do it in the daytime?

I can't help but think of that Kiefer Sutherland movie Mirrors. Even though i've never even seen it.

Yes, you've got to do it at night.
The background lighting is the key to it.
Candlelight is the best, otherwise low key background lighting.

If I have'nt got candles, I look in the bathroom mirror with the door ajar and the hallway light on outside.
That still works fine.

o0o I'll try this, I'm always up for some fun. I'm a wuss too, but at a bathroom shouldn't be too bad, though I have this nice old handheld 3-way (triptych?) mirror I'd like to try it with.
