Muse, Coldplay and Lupe Fiasco all are great at this. Muse has so many good songs about gov. like Knights of Cydonia and Coldplay has several anti-war songs and a song about a possibly nuclear war. Lupe Fiasco is mainly about the "knowledge is power" thing.

I haven't had the time to go through all 10 pages to see whats been posted.So I'm going to do a few songs that I enjoy and believe have a message telling us to wake up and look around. So I will just start with whats playing now =)

The lyrics to this song remind of whats going on today. A lot of songs by The Clash can be related to social injustice by the police. In this song I could see police and thieves either being one in the same, as in the police are thieves because they can take away personal possessions in the name of the law.

Or, the thieves are those who buy off the police and steal from the poor. AKA the elite, or tptb.
And what would you know, didn't the DHS and several other agencies stock up on "guns and ammunition"?
I'd also like to mention, "All the peacemaker turn war officer". Makes me think of martial law. As the police officers sworn to protect peace begin to invoke violence.

I guess this one doesn't need any explaining. Everything's pretty straightforward. There are so many bands out there trying to spread the message of hope and try to give us insight on the path we the people need to go down in order to be truly free from this mess.
