I noticed the statement that Lord Lucan "feared for the safety of his children" when they were with their mother.
Other than having Depression, were there indications that she was mistreating in some way? Mention was also made that she had had a violent outburst
towards her husband, but any facts about her behavior towards the children?
Not that I am aware of. But Lucan never saw them regularly after Lady Lucan took them under her wing. So its possible that they were hurt and no one
would know.
