They'll need the numbers to take certain areas.

It is virtually impossible to hold an area that has been pacified. Once the occupying force leaves, it becomes contested again. The US is a vast land area, and 400.000 troops are a drop in the bucket.
The bottom line is that if the citizens support the rebellion, then no army, no matter how large will be able to succeed. Furthermore, in a guerrilla war , given the ire in the country today, targets would most probably include those institutions that people feel have hurt them, not the army.

It seems they have this planed out pretty well, they have all those FEMA camps ready to go, I know the Tanks are ready to go also, if they meet some resistance they will just send the Tanks in.
With this bogus Swine Flu thing only 700+ dead world wide this is bull.
This will be how it was in Nazi Germany before the war only thing the war is going to be against us, it will start and end here.
Once the U.S.A. falls, it's over, they want our guns, and they want complete control.
Does anyone notice they are doing nothing to reasure the people and there not going to, where is the Transparency, their all lying B#######.

Most likely those troops are already here.

On a side note a marine buddy of mine told me part of their training
scenarios out at 29 palms was the shooting of american citizens.

That brings another thing I've noticed. There have been convoys of dump trucks taking rock out 185. There's nothing but farm land and lime deposits out there. We used to offroad at the lime ponds(what we called them) until it was bought and sealed off several years ago. Don't know who bought it. That's the only place I can think of they are going, after that 185 becomes too hilly and curvy for bigger vehicles. They can't make it up and down the steep grades when they're loaded like that. A little 6 cylinder car with 4 passengers barely makes it up them.

True. But that doesn't mean they still won't refuse.

Here I snag this from virus thread is post by burntheships.

Georgia Congressman Paul Broun warned attendees of a town hall event Tuesday that the Obama administration was planning to use a pandemic or a natural disaster to implement martial law in the United States.

Speaking at the North Georgia Technical College auditorium, Broun said that the “socialistic elite,” as well as Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, were planning to exploit a crisis to create a favorable climate for their stalling political agenda.

“They’re trying to develop an environment where they can take over,” he said. “We’ve seen that historically.”

Broun’s warning arrives on the back of a letter sent by The National Governors Association to the Pentagon last week, which condemns the military’s plans to usurp domestic control of National Guard and federal forces deployed in the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack

You're not suppose to tell me things like that! I have enough trouble sleeping.

Does your friend feel that the training is effective? I would imagine that they wouldn't be able to use military in areas they grew up in. For example, commanders would have a hard time getting soldiers from around here to fire on us. We all know each other. They would have to bring troops from another area to cover this one. We've hunted, camped, and played in these woods all our lives. We know what areas have clean water and which ones don't. We know what areas have the wild game and which ones don't. But most importantly, we know which properties are safe to trespass on and which ones to stay clear of. They would be foolish to bring in soldiers not familiar with the area and they would be foolish to bring in soldiers from the area. Unless of course they found someone from here to turn and become an adviser of sorts.

Have to agree here with Ownification.

What is it about the American psyche that immediately plunges into seige mode based on wild conjecture and too many movies ?

Then the 'I got mah gun, come an git me, ya hear ' comments from all the would-be gunslingers.

It's as if American are constantly poised on a trigger -- constantly looking for boogie-men in the woods --- constantly seeing enemies --- constantly waiting for the 'final showdown' and other movie-inspired dramas.

It only takes one sensationalistic comment to trigger these responses and then the whole drama escalates to the point of comedy in a matter of minutes

Do Americans WANT a showdown with their government ? Is that it ?

Do Americans WANT battle in the streets agains their own troops and government ?

Do they want to see their kids bleeding in gutters ?

Do they want to go out themselves in a hail of bullets ?

Do they want their country to end up a smoking pile, sitting there waiting for calmer nations to clean it up and take it ?

Is that what this is all about ?

It emerges in so many posts. And those posts are selected by people wallowing in paranoia and eager to spread it through this and other forums.

Talk about knee-jerk reactionaries. Americans take the cake. And it spreads like a bush-fire, lighting the imaginations of those who just can't stand the thought of having to live an ordinary life and would prefer ANYthing other than accept their own ordinariness.

So you really believe that the government of the US is going to bring in half a million troops for the express purpose of killing lots of Americans and herding the rest into bloody FEMA camps, where they'd have to be guarded, fed, housed, clothed, medicated, educated, huh ? You REALLY believe that ?

Who the hell would want to take total responsibility for a couple of hundred million Americans, around the clock ? Ask yourself that.

You couldn't get even your favourite boogie-men (those 'Commie Russkies' for example) to take on the task, even if you paid them to do it. NO-one wants to deal with hundreds of millions of Americans, NO-one. They are a headache. If this thread is any indication, Americans have the mental age of 8 year olds, thanks to their steady diet of 'catastrophe' movie and tv shows, and End of World shows and rampant paranoia, trigger-happy, hysterical response to the slightest thing. And they're all such HEROES, right ? Listen to them in this and other threads. To hear them, you'd think they were Wild West gunslingers, instead of soft-bellied internet and pizza addicts.

So come on. Get a grip. This is what happens when a compromised government allows its population to be hammered from birth up with 'Holycost' propaganda. They grow in body, but their brains have been programmed to forever be waiting for the Big Event -- that never comes.

Look at it this way, if they kill half of you and cram the rest into FEMA camps (as if ) then your lives become 'their' problem, right ? You're going to die anyway (just like everyone else) and until you do, they'll have to feed you, house you, etc. WHO on earth would want that task ? Ask yourselves.

Obviously it would be far easier from their point of view to leave you exactly as you are --- consuming, spending, paying for your own food and housing, etc.

Nope. Sorry. No-one is interested in 'taking over' the US population.

Would you want to ?

What would you gain ?

That's right. Nothing. You're not a valuable commodity unless you're spending, eating, buying, using, breeding, consuming and panicking.

So relax

Why don't they just put 4 million troops on the street. This is not Iraq. Go ahead and just do it.

You asked :
400,000 personnel posted here in the United States? What on earth for?

Just guessing, but it may have something to with this -

The military has always had an internment area of operations. There is not a war yet where POWs are not expected. Guess who is in charge of moving POWs?

I am not saying that nothing bad is going on or will happen but the only way for us to see it clearly is to seperate facts from paranoid prisonplanet misinterpretations.

This is too much...

I think that I am stressed out because it feels like everything is collapsing and there is not a thing we can do about it. I try to spread info, I start petitions, I try to discuss things with my friends...but no one wants to do anything. Apathy is going to kill us all.

So I just sit around earning minimum wage waiting for the world to end with nothing better to do than watch as this feature film of ours gathers to its epic climax.

I really do not enjoy this feeling of lack of control.

You're enjoying this way to much to think rationally

The 'American Dream' apparently, is one long Kill and Be Killed scenario

even when it has to be fabricated out of next to nothing

You might want to go back and read the OP. This article is not from Prison Planet...

And the Congress here is real, along with the Pentagon, The DHS, and the DOD.

I know we do not have stellar electorate in all 50 states, but there are still a few state governors that are on thier game.

So...

You think they fire off letters to the Pentagon in dispute about states authorities for a hobby?

Or to stir dissention amoung Americans?

Yes, here in the US, there are those whose attitude is, "Ah got mah gun, and you push me and I'll kill you."

And they will have very short life spans.

We don't like, or as the country phrase is, "we don't cotton" to folks pushing us around, telling us what we can do, what we can't, where we can go, and when.

We don't really like too much authority. Fortunately, if things get sideways, a lot of those liberals who wear their shorts backwards don't have weapons, nor the mindset to use them.

In a state of conflict or anarchy, they'll drop faster than burdschitt in a downdraft.

Then there are a few such as myself. I don't have to take them all on. I don't have to win it all by next month.

I only have to take out one or two a day, or every other day, while appearing mild, meek, and helpless. A few months go by, and you've got some numbers to be proud of.

And those little baby-blue helmets?

GREAT targets! Great!

Miami has 400,000 people. Not Miami Beach, Coral Gables and all the adjacent areas one thinks of as the Greater Miami area.

They would need all 400,000 just for Miami.

Not going to happen.

Best thing for everyone in Washington to do? Retire while they can. Get out now while the getting is good.

Washington politicians should take up the study of proctology. After all, they should all be naturals as this is where they've had their heads since they arrived there.

Most Americans are afraid, but I say thank God for the crazy ###### ###### that will stand up for his and everyone elses rights.
It sounds like some are limp wristed ######## that are willing to let the ####### ####### destroy the rest of our Constitution and our Rights.
IT will be to late with people like you that don't see the writing on the wall, they want total control and the Russias and Germans will be over here, they have already been training here.
Don't you know Bush thought the people were going to riot in OCT,2008 we surprised them.
Wait till your looking down barrel of Tank, and do be surprise when it's shoved up your ###.

You need to go fishing, or walk in the woods or something. Go to the library and check out some survival books. Practice primitive bivouac at a state park.

You will be amazed how in touch and empowered you feel.

I'm a tad confused. There is already over 1 million troops stationed within the U.S. From the Wiki article:

Within the United States

Including U.S. territories and ships afloat within territorial waters

A total of 1,083,027 personnel are on active duty within the United States and its territories (including those afloat):[18] The vast majority, 883,430 of them, are stationed at various bases within the Continental United States. There are an additional 36,827 in Hawaii and 19,828 in Alaska. 90,218 are at sea while there are 2,970 in Guam and 137 in Puerto Rico.

So.. um.. we are reducing our #'s?

Most of the people are still asleep, they are setting us up only 700+ have died from swine flu why all the hulabalu with this vaccanation thing.
We have already been thru Stage I and Stage II of set up, Stage III will be some phoney disaster, then comes Stage IIII when Government comes in to save us and fix everything, in mean time they will of removed the rest of our Rights.

This is going to happen, and most don't even see it's coming, they don't care about us it's all money, oil, and power.
These people are murders, they kill Presidents of other countries with no thoughht, if they can't get what they want they make up pretence for war, false flag, just like Hitler did to gain support of the people.

The United States you grew up on and loved, believed in has all been a lie, most will not believe until the rug is yanked out from under their feet.

Funny that you said that bro, I stop and read your sig every time I see your posts, I quoted it to my son the other day.

But on the note about my sig line. The laws have gotten so thick and this country has been around just long enough that the common law has been built on top of and buried in BS, until who knows what you can do anymore, you can't even collect rain from your own roof.

But the peeps at the top know exactly what they can do, they are buying and selling our freedoms for their leisure. it's been that way for every empire for millenia, If anything the technological post modern age is accelerating the cycles. The question is, when is it all gonna go bust for the last time and the paradigm shifts. Looks like it will be in our lifetime. But I'm sure the little man has been saying that for a while too.
