Personally, I believe that when MY messiah comes, he's not going to announce anything. We'll know cause we'll see.

So what im getting from this is from your last post. This site is created with certain people in mind. And these people all found this site. Different views from others and all the same in this place. So this quote to some may mean something. And that is all that is important. You were very elusive, but I can comment that whatever it is, which you refuse to mention, that you are looking for/waiting for/expecting from this Maitreya character already exists in Jesus of Nazereth. But Jesus went one further, He died for you. He also conquered death and I don't know when He is returning, but I do know it is not this Maitreya character. There is one who will fool millions and he could be it.

Sorry Sol12 but I'm on my way out the door for a 2 week vacation into the interior of British Columbia and so don't have much time for posting my thoughts here. But as you know I posted my some of my views on jinx880101's thread.

This whole subject, for those that don't know, it not just about Benjamin Creme's word on Maitreya. From the book Initiation, Human and Solar, published in 1922 by Alice Bailey there is this description of Maitreya:

The World Teacher is that Great Being Whom the Christian calls the Christ; He is known also in the Orient as the Bodhisattva, and as the Lord Maitreya, and is the One looked for by the devout Mohammedan, under the name of the Iman Mahdi. He it is Who has presided over the destinies of life since about 600 B.C. and He it is Who has come out among men before, and Who is again looked for. He is the Great Lord of Love and of Compassion, just as His predecessor, the Buddha, was the Lord of Wisdom. . . . He is the World Teacher, the Master of the Masters, and the Instructor of the Angels, and to Him is committed the guidance of the spiritual destinies of men, and the development of the realisation within each human being that he is a child of God and a son of the Most High.

. . . The World Teacher directs that indwelling consciousness in the life or spirit aspect, seeking to energise it within the form so that, in due course of time, that form can be discarded and the liberated spirit return whence it came. Ever since He left the earth, as related with approximate accuracy in the Bible story (though with much error in detail) has He stayed with the sons of men; never has He really gone, but only in appearance, and in a physical body He can be found by those who know the way, dwelling in the Himalayas, and working in close co-operation with His two great Brothers, the Manu and the Mahachohan. Daily He pours out His blessing on the world, and daily He stands under the great pine in His garden at the sunset hour with hands uplifted in blessing over all those who truly and earnestly seek to aspire. To Him all seekers are known, and, though they may remain unaware of Him, the light which He pours forth stimulates their desire, fosters the spark of struggling life and spurs on the aspirant until the momentous day dawns when they stand face to face with the One Who by being "lifted up" (occultly understood) is drawing all men unto Himself as the Initiator of the sacred mysteries.

At the time of this writing, Maitreya was still in the Himalayas. He is now said to be based somewhere in London, England. Which is why, according to Bejamin Creme, most of the famous crop formations are there.

The Lucis Trust (or Lucifer Publishing Company) is a United Nations Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and is represented at weekly sessions at the United Nations in New York and Geneva and a member of the UN Economic and Social Council.

The Lucis Trust promotes IoNs as one of the "New Group of World Servers". The Lucis Trust are pushing for the establishment of a permanent "Age of Aquarius" ruled by one "christ" figure, "Lord of the Word" or Maitreya (the new age messiah) and a One World Religion.

Zeitgeist Part I used the controversial author Archarya S as the consultant for the movie. Part I of the movie is based on her book "The Christ Conspiracy", she also penned the companion guide for Zeitgeist.

Archarya S plagiarized her book from a book written in the 1800's by a Quaker who claimed without any evidence that there were 16 previous crucified saviours. This book was heavily cited by the Theosphical Society (founded by Madam Blavatsky - see above).

Important Note

It must be understood that it is very unlikely that the world will ever see the appearance of a figure who will be publicly known as Maitreya. Certainly this sounds strange after examining the evidence that has been set forth, but this statement is not simply this researcher's personal opinion, rather it comes from Benjamin Creme himself. Before elaborating we should first examine the historical source of the "Maitreya" tradition.

Maitreya is a name that comes from Buddhism, and it is a Buddhist prophecy that a figure by this name would appear on earth as the next Buddha. The prophecies of Maitreya first appeared in the third century AD in India and they actually predicted that he would appear as a bodhisattva in 30,000 years or so when Buddhism was in a terrible state of decline. Of course it has not been 30,000 years since the prophecies were given and Buddhism is hardly in a state of decline, yet Creme is able to dance around these problems and continues to promote Maitreya as the genuine fulfillment of the Buddhist prophecies. This enigmatic spirit being which Benjamin Creme claims to be in constant contact with, claims to not only be the fulfillment of Buddhist prophecy, but also of Muslim, Hindu, Jewish and Christian prophecy. Because Maitreya is a uniquely Buddhist name, and in an effort to appear unbiased towards any specific religious tradition, Creme has claimed that when his mentor does appear on the public scene as the World Teacher he will be known by a totally different and unique name that is not associated with any one religion.

The fact that you didn't even try to deny any direct connection to Share International, confirms my belief even more.

If you weren't directly connected to them you should have said something like:

"I'm not directly connected, but do like to get their message out"

I think you have actually gone the wrong way here, if you look back at this thread's posts, none of them, contain nothing that can be identified as "your thoughts" or "ideas" all you have said is, go research yourself, Share International, Maitreya.

And where are your thoughts on Maitreya? can we get to know if you believe, or not, or work with them, or want people to listen to whatever he says? or how do you feel about him and the world after reading all the stuff on that site, have you read all that stuff? has it been helpful in your life, has your life improved after reading through what he says?

Had you posted about all that, then you could say, here are my thoughts and ideas, but right now, this thread is empty, void of ideas and thoughts, when looking for them through your posts, because, a few members have posted their thoughts and ideas about Maitreya, but you haven't.

Which comes to me as the only possible reason for this thread existence, you are promoting Maitreya, by adding content that can gather people around him, and then, in the end, placing ads for whatever his teachings are, but you don't says so, you just want to get the name out, then expect people to go and research more, good way to avoid going against the T&Cs, but still, it is clear for a lot of people that this thread is an ad for Maitreya or Share International, and nothing else.

Why do deny a debate, you opened this thread because of what then?

Unfortunately, ATS is targeted to audiences who come here to debate and discuss, creating a thread on this site and then declaring you don't want to debate the original content of that thread, clearly shows, as i said earlier, that this is just an advertisement, you want for people to discuss Maitreya, this is you agenda? if so, why not participate yourself instead in the debate of just going around delivering Share International pamphlets? i think that would make for a better strategy, and show good will and honesty.

What facts? ET? seems like a good combination of keywords so that people can come and read the thread, it is a shame than once they have entered, there's no talk about any facts, ETs or even about Maitreya himself
Not very nice i think, but let the people decide from themselves.

Me? i don't believe, because the real Maitreya is supposed to be the Buddha reincarnation, and i don't think hiding and working in this scheme goes very well with the original teachings of The Buddha, if he is the reincarnation, and has been here for years already, where are the teachings, that go beyond what we already have from the original? the purpose would be to come and continue the path, not circle around the same teachings we already have available and just waste time without going nowhere, we haven even mastered our own minds and souls, the old teachings are still waiting for someone who can come and master them, there's no need for a new 'guide' that won't deliver.
