apparently it is a fake. A very good one. here is a quote from the description:

When I first saw the video I knew without a doubt it was CGI because of the smoothness the orbs were moving, compared to the not-so-smoothness of the rest of the video.

The number one mistake of animated CGI films is when they don't match the frames per second (FPS) of the CGI object(s), with the FPS of the actual video. So when they render the final scene, the video inherits the FPS of the CGI object(s), and they move smoother than the video they were added into. Hard to explain...but, it's really noticeable to people like myself who know why the problem happens.

Also, I think their reflection should have showed on the water, but it didn't.

Anyway, this "Amazing" ufo video should be thrown in the hoax topic with the rest of them... damn... this kills UFOlogy.

I only came back to see why this thread hasn't been closed? The ATS faithful did their job and proved it was a hoax, it's time to move on. . .

The Vatican did not said that, it was the personal opinion of the chief astronomer, not an official Vatican declaration.

So many countries are releasing their ufo files. Why? Hmmm cause they are not real? LOL!

If you read the released files you saw that they point mostly to explainable cases and sometimes to unexplainable, so the governments are not presenting any clear evidence of anything, and that there are things that are seen by some people and for which they have no explanation is not a secret to anyone. Remember, UFO means just Unidentified Flying Object.

Why do you think they call this ATS? Because they want guys like me to speak out. Whistle blowers!

Then present some real evidence, I am sure everyone would like to see that, including me.

Frustrating isn't it? Seems this goes on in a lot of threads now. Where the thread seems less like a discussion and more like a "view OP dump reply" then on to the next.

I'll have fun and say a lot of those reply's belong to COINTELPRO racking up post counts to look more trusting later when they become defiant of info later on.

(I'm just trying to derail the thread now )

Actually I did want to point out that the guy who made the video made it for a client. The client is making the documentary not the video creator. The video in OP was swiped from the clients FTP not the video creators web site.

This is what I've been saying for the last six months on these videos. But no one cares. They'd rather believe it was real.

Since everyone is apparently as bored as I am and this thread was already explained/debunked.

Here is the animator himself experimenting.

IMO, he is AMAZINGLY talented.

There are some cool "work in progress" projects/demos on his YT channel as he hones his chops.

Personally, I dig this kinda stuff.

He has not yet answered my request, I hope he does.

I asked for him to post the original footage, without the "orbs", and he said that he should do it, so I am waiting for it.

One included Press Release on software updates to a high-end industry standard app for 3D modeling. Naturally it features a 3D Alien creature.

Oh noes. For better or for worse, this stuff gets cheaper and more powerful all the time. Granted, the key ingredient will always remain....human talent. (Hopefully)

The plane abduction film is a fake. Go to the guys youtube account and look at his messages. A guy called vipsta11 congratulations him on his computer graphics skills. I take it he means his skill with CGI. . . Good vid though.

I went to his youtube a/c 'n saw the comment you mentioned.

Im still doubtful, coz to classify this as a CGI ONLY on the basis of

a comment appreciating his graphics skills ... i dunno...is not

exactly the best way to ascertain the authenticity of a footage.

Dyu know any1 here on ATS who is an expert in CGI. If he would

too agree then yes, I may be convinced, but till then, i'm on the

fence for this one.

One thing to look for when you suspect CGI is when the UFOs arent the 'subject' or in the centre of the frame. This is evidence that the UFOs are added afterwards since the cameraman would surely have the camera centred on them. If you look at the second half of the video it has this problem.
