The short form certificate is the ONLY one the state of Hawaii will give you if you request a copy of your birth certificate - it is the official birth certificate of the State of Hawaii. Conspiracy theorists are heros. They don't blindly accept party lines. They seek the truth, they do so until they see enough facts to finally allay their suspicians.

This situation can easily be ended by showing the long form BC. I would say it is in the public interest to do so.

Besides, if I have to take off my shoes and get a full body search to fly thanks to the Patriot Act, I think it is reasonable for Obama to prove citizenship to be President of the United States.

Or do we have to go that easy on him because he's black?

And while you are at it, write a letter to national archives in washington, and tell them you need the original version of the constitution.

I mean we need it to verify if it actually says those things about being 35 and a natural born citizen right? We got a tangibel legal interest!

This "forgery" has given all of you - what name should we call you - "hatchers"(?) a great opportunity to deflect people away from the original and underlying issue - is obama legitimately president - but it does nothing to answer the underlying questions.

Oh, and I loved the sheeple comment earlier in the thread about if everyone in government, including the Supreme Court - says it's OK, it must be OK. Now you all believe everything the government says?

So, I guess there's no way for any of you to imagine the SCOTUS sitting there saying if we rule truthfully that obama shouldn't be president, this country will come apart, so we better just say obama is legitimate.

No offense, but doesn't this sound like nothing will convince you then if every authority of our current system isn't good enough to verify his legitimacy?

Lots of folks have said that nothing will make this go away, that the "birthers" will never concede no matter what.

And it's posts like yours which, I believe, fuels this sentiment.

Well, notice I said truth as it relates to documents which are posited as evidence.

I'm the first one to say there is no absolute truth.

However, that doesn't preclude one from working within a particular frame of reference, specifically the one in which exists a document exists which is being presented as something which is objectively not what it is purported to be.




And yep... I thought he messed up on the police thing to begin with.. but I thought the beer summit was a good idea from a leadership perspective.

What makes you think his birth certificate was used? I mean, it differs in significant ways. Not what a hoaxer would bother or want to do, because it makes it easier for people to spot the differences, whereas a true hoaxer would want to minimise them by simply replacing Australian names by Kenyan ones. Far from its similarity being evidence that the Kenyan certificate was forged, its dissimilarity is evidence that the latter was NOT forged. Instead, the Australian one could be the forgery, prepared some time ago to be made public in the event that Obama's Kenyan certificate (or a copy) was ever leaked to the world.

If you look at the unique number (5733) that each BC is given... they both have the same typed in number.


That's just one reason.

So what? Far from proving that the Obama certificate is forged, it could prove that the number of the Australian one has been changed by someone.

And, if not that, perhaps someone has found another birth certificate with the same number. Are you telling me, no birth certificates in two different countries can ever share the same number? LOL!

The Constitution is a well-established historical document which has been open to study since it was authored.

You and others are trying to divert deficiencies with Obama by attacking those who speak against him. Label them as right-wingers, tea-baggers, birthers, deathers.
