Please tell us that you are joking when you insinuate that you can't follow the argument here. We have someone questioning the motives of those that want Obama removed from office IF he's not eligible to serve. It's kind of like saying about someone sent to prison for murder, "yeah, he may have been a serial killer indeed, but the cops were just looking for a reason to bust him!" LOL.

Sounds like you, too, just wanted to get rid of Bush "for any reason". True enough?

Regarding 1963 or 1964 and the "Republic" issue...think of it this way. Who is writing the history?

Here in America we started calling ourselves the United States of America in 1776 after our Declaration of Independence. However, the British refused to acknowledge that until we kicked their a$$es in the Revolutionary war. And we didn't have a Constitution until when, 1789-1792? But that whole time in between we called ourselves the good old US of A.

So once Kenya declared their independence in 1963, and wrote their Constitution declaring themselves a Republic, they probably started using the term right away on all their documents. But the British didn't recognize it until a year later after Kenya had a functioning government. And my guess is there's more history written from the British perspective than from the Kenyan perspective, so consider the source.

just a quick qoestion...Do you have proof of this? can you show me where the cia shut down this site?

I could care less about Bush or Obama, politically speaking. As I said earlier, it not political for me, I'm not trying to defend my "team". For me it's sociological.

I hate racism and hypocrisy. I'm not accusing anyone personally of that here.

We had the Articles of Confederation before the constitution when we declared independence. Then a whole bunch of power hungry people, didn't like them because they basically neutered the government for doing anything. So they then had to write the constitution and adopt that.

And he added that he's NOT accusing anyone here of being a racist or a hypocrite, so here's an idea! How about discussing the document in question?

Look again. The document is from 1964.
It's (allegedly) a certified copy of the original.
Like our short form is to the long original form.

So the fact that both the coat of arms and the worlds 'republic of Kenya' are on the document make sense .... it was a transition period.


What we need a birth certificate or a certified copy from that same time period to compare it to.

Well to be fair, if the short form of a US Birth Certificate isn't good enough, a short form of a Kenyan BC isn't good enough either.

True. But if you were writing the British side of the story, you would write it to say that these colonies were still under British control until after the war. Right? So you have to consider the source.

"Dominion" is clearly a British term placed upon Kenya, I'm sure they didn't choose that for themselves. Their Dec 12 1963 Constitution declares themselves a Republic. So for Kenya to start using Republic in their documents that would just thumb their nose at Britain, makes perfect sense.

No, during December 1963 – December 1964 the official country name was the Dominion of Kenya. The Republic was not established until December 12 1964 and the official title was also not established until then. All dates on this document which states “Republic of Kenya” are before the date it even became a republic.

It took a year of elections before they decided what type of government it was going to be.

I don’t think it’s a problem that the surname is not in the kids name section as this is normal on a lot of birth certs, my Birth Cert just says “Michael” (Irish one), no surname as it is assumed that I would take my fathers surname.

So Obama not being in the kids name section is normal.
