WASHINGTON, July 27 (UPI) -- The U.S. House of Representatives Monday approved a resolution observing Hawaii's statehood anniversary and noting the Aloha State is Barack Obama's birthplace.
Rep. Neil Abercrombie, D-Hawaii, countering a movement challenging President Obama's U.S. birth, introduced the measure. Hawaii celebrates its 50th anniversary in August.
The final vote was 378-0, with 220 Democrats and 158 Republicans voting in favor of the resolution. More than 50 members did not vote.
Approval of Congress has dipped below 20% for only the fourth time in the 34 years Gallup has asked Americans to rate the job Congress is doing. Today's 18% score, based on a May 8-11 Gallup Poll, matches the record lows Gallup recorded in August 2007 and March 1992.

Maybe now we can all get back to getting America back on track, and dealing with the TRUE issues we all need to work on.

Oh so is that why Obama has been unable to hold to his campaign promises - because he was so caught up in the controversy surrounding his actual birthplace?
Well in that case, all I can say is WHEW! I'm glad Congress passed a resolution declaring Hawaii his true birthplace (because we all know Congress only tells the truth) so Jesus can resume his duties as president. It must be hell having more than one item on your list of things to do, so we can all rest comfortably tonight assured that Mr. Obama has been relieved of yet another inconvenient questioning of his Socialist dictatorial rule.

I hope this puts the "birther" conspiracy to rest... once and for all.
