Um, spitting, beating and various other ways a person shows they have a great deal of dislike for another and then there came the killing *ALOT of killing but those other things happend while they were working themselves up to the killing* happend in World War 2. Funny that you would distort the point so though.

So, any further obfuscations?

If you have a problem with affirmative action take it up with you representative, not me. Afro Americans get benefits from their own government and their country and it is good for them. They get it because of the cultural artefacts they live because of slavery, segregation and discrimination.

AfroAmericans love their country and are great patriots and they get what their country sees fit.

Israel, however rolls around to Germany once or twice a generation to get compensation in the order of billions. Between these, compensations are sought for over lost artwork, property, lost bank accounts and the latest wheeze is compansation for grandchildren of holocaust survivors for the trauma of finding out their grandparents survived the Holocaust.

Funny thing is, the victims of the Holocaust were largely Western European Jews and the beneficiaries in Israel are largely Russian and Eastern European Jews. Genuine survivors get a very little compensation by way of a stipend as the state swallows the disbursements from Germany.

Were the Germans involved in the spitting and all that?
Is this why all the fuss is about?

Geee, it's funny how someone could approve of over appeasing another group yet gripe about claims that another is doing the same.
And besides you claimed the cases were nothing alike I pointed out they are at least somewhat alike in that there was no large scale attempt to wipe out black people.
Not that I condone racial seperation of any sort as we are all human and this color/ethnic/whatever speration/discrimination crap turns my stomach. *Just in case you decide to start calling me a racist.*

Hi masonwatcher/
Good to see you are not JUST a mason watcher!

European Jews are not Jew Jews!
This in itself is something people should look into!
The truth may just be too much for some!

Yeh, why?
I told you I was tired!

Just a silly thread in my opinion, all the fuss about what is considered by SOME as NEWS worthy!
People should look at WHAT'S really going on out there in the Real world!

Take care,

Hm. Anti-semitic actions in a country well noted in history for taking anti-semitism to insane lengths is not news worthy? I can't imagine how you can truly justify that if you didn't obfuscate like you are.

The Sitbon family will not forget their most recent flight to Israel for quite some time. Paris residents Michael and Dvora Sitbon flew with their four children from France to the Holy Land.

The above is an extract from the article. You will note that it fails to mention that, in all likelihood, the family are Israeli. They are residents of France but not French citizens. It would also appear they are not German nationals either but suggests that they are Israelis going to Israel.

What the border guard did was unacceptable if what the family reported is true. If it is true, then the border guard was probably reacting to what happened in Gaza.

Many Israelis flew back home to Israel via Frankfurt during the siege to do military service and take part in the assault. Others flew back to Israel via Frankfurt as tourists to watch the assault on Gaza from the surrounding hills. Frankfurt is an international hub and the guard could simply reacting to Israelis because they are Israeli. The religion would be incidental.

Perhaps because of Germany's past *think WW2*? Ya think?

As you noticed, "Germany's past"

We dont have to pay forever for it, its the past, so i dont have to be ashamed, i didnt killed any jews and i dont have to be sanctioned for it, the actual germans generation dont have to pay that price for actions we never commited.

I agree. This is kind of the same thing here in america how some white people have guilt over the whole slavery thing. None of them living nowadays were slave owners! As a black guy I just want to say stop feeling guilty, none of yall did anything!

I hear what you are saying OTTOKARMA and understand where you are coming from but I don't think that Germany will come off that hook for many years to come.

There are number of reasons for this; the primary reason is that Germany committed outrageous acts to more than the Jewish Europeans, it humiliated most European nations to the levels of desperation. This experience has been imbued in all governments and institutions in Europe until today. Secondly, because of US domination of postwar Germany and the Cold War, the US had set up a shadow government in the security services and the military ostensibly to mount a resistance in the event of a Soviet invasion. These same instruments were also in charge of maintaining a compliant and secure German state answerable to the US.

The Soviet Union did the same thing with the former East Germany and not so secret secretive Stasi; only with them the danger and enemy were the East German people along with the West.

Israel and its interests have a direct access to this system of control through the US that results in the issues you mention and the new laws restricting free speech or commentary on the Holocaust by German people.

This same infrastructure is also in place in Turkey, a Nato member, which has also been accessed by the Israelis. This shadow institution is known as Deep Government

As you noticed, "Germany's past"

and it is the past - we should all learn to let go

I know it's not that easy - and our culture doesn't make it any easier - the movies, the books - everything we contribute keeps it all alive and we feel it as if it's still alive - current - happening

I agree with those that say we can never forget - we can't forget - it helps no one to forget - and if we want a better future we just can't

but forgiving is another thing altogether

if it really is impossible to forgive - then don't forgive I say - maybe some things really are unforgivable - at least for some

but it's a brand new crime punishing people who haven't done anything - and weren't even alive when the original crime was committed

We dont have to pay forever for it, its the past, so i dont have to be ashamed...

you don't have to feel either ashamed or responsible - any more than any of the rest of us

we all belong to a people - whether we want to admit it or not - that have done horrible things to other people - at some point

we're only really responsible for now - what happens now

that's why it's fair to be concerned about this story
