In the days and weeks surrounding Obama's election, the professional hate-mongers and war cheerleaders, such as Sean Hannity, Mark Levine, and others of their ilk tried to get America riled up over allegations that Barack Obama was not born in the United States, and America responded with a collective shrug of indifference.

I love it when someone resorts to labels. I especially enjoy it when the naive and ignorant call the insightful and realist of mind "Hate Mongers/War Mongers" and any of the like. It is simply your way of burying your head ever so further into the sand, so that you might somehow live a comfy, care free life, naive to the World's suffering and dangers.

OK, but I did not resort to labels. When I say "hate monger" and "war cheerleader," I am accurately describing their behavior. Sean Hannity and Mark Levine are not thoughtful men offering well-reasoned opinions. They are media-savvy covert racists, cleverly packaging their hate speech in just enough circumlocution that they don't kicked off the air and their listeners get to enjoy hate radio while living in the comfortable illusion that they are not, in fact, enjoying hate radio.

Bigoted rabble-rousers aren't stupid anymore. They've figured out that they can't come right out and say words like "sand n*****," so they cloak their vile rhetoric in discussions about the differences between "us" and "them."

At least in Hitler's Germany, you knew where you stood, 'cause the war cheerleaders were honest about who they wanted to exterminate.

What percentage of right-wingers bitc--d about George Walker Bush? Nowhere near those who did so when George Herbert Walker Bush used the phrase "New World Order" I'm sure. By and large they are just intolerant hypocrites. That is what the last eight years proves.

Had militias and other "extremists" opposed the policies of GWB, it would be easier to take them seriously now.

The last eight years proved to me that the left is right about a lot of things -- the real left, not the center-right "Democratic" Party.

Obama's earned our trust. If you guys who hate him want any of your anti-Obama arguments to be taken seriously, I would suggest that you start earning back your credibility. Good luck with that.

To use the word 'credibility' when you have just used a post to criticise someone's spelling speaks for itself. And as you obviously aren't reading and comprehending posts there's no point discussing anything with you. Just don't moan when they come for you, or if you get sick and are left untreated, or when you get old and sick and are deemed a useless drain on resources and the Government dictates when and how you will die, or rather be killed off, as you are no longer any use as a wage slave to feed the psychotic delusions of the elite puppet masters.

I don't blame Obama for the way the world is now, due to the decisions of others before him. It is not his fault, just like the rest of us by-standing civilians. What I do worry though, is that if this man can't tell a particular truth regarding where he was born, then how can I trust him to tell me the truth on other things that are much, much more highly important? It's a never-ending fiasco that I'm sure most agree with me on. Why if he loves his beloved country, would he lie to it? In my opinion, the United States of America has been following the legal law stating that any likely candidate must have been American born. And if we can't hold on to that simple tradition, what's the likelihood we'll hold on to any other?

Just like the rest of us he too should be obligated to follow the laws. Regardless of how famous or popular the man has become, the law is the law even if you don't agree with some.

In some cases, it's okay to break the law. For instance if weapons become banned from owning, I would break that law. But that is a matter of protection and defense for my family and my friends. What reasoning does he have? Like you said though, this matter is 'trivial', therefore why can't he answer it? Power hungry.

To anybody who's recently posted supportive comments on my original post, I do thank you and apologize if I've not yet read them. I just don't have the patience to wade through this many pages of a thread. Yes, I know I've fed this thread's rampant growth, but anyway...

To those of you who've had insulting things to say to me and have been spouting all manner of nonsense, you do realize, don't you, that every time you post something in this thread, I get more ATS points?

So the joke's on you, 'cause I'm redeeming those ATS points for cold, hard cash!

Oh we didn't tell you about that you get free coupons in the sunday paper.Seriously All of you are a joke the President is not the one in power its congress. They make the laws president can sign or veto the bill All the things you guys attribute to the president was your congressman and your senators.Congress has the power to stop anything the president does even when he issues an executive order!Congress has to appropriate funds and and such can stop anything the government does. The reason why nothing has changed when Obamma took office is the same people are still there running the show.

So far Obama is on track to being worst president ever second only to Carter. Obama is trashing the economy, our rights, taking our right to arms, taking our money by lining us up for huge future taxes, and generally making it seem as if we were invaded and taken over by a national socialist party.

The only thing keeping him in office is the fear of Biden or Pelosi taking office who have far greater potential for incompetence and malice towards the country.

What are you talking about? You don't think it's valid to point out spelling errors? You don't think a person's argument is weakened by their inability to spell?

I think it's the funniest thing in the world when people get all upset about something and then author these long diatribes on the Internet, and they can't even get basic distinctions like "to" vs. "too" or "your" vs. "you're" right.

It's funny, but also sad.

Oh, good Lord!
Please get off your high horse.

The answer is NO to both questions. I guess you have never made a typo. Wow, you must be the smartest person in the world.

People know how to spell. Jeesh! Some poster are replying to numerous threads, hense they are typing fast and not taking the time to proof read every post.

Most here realize this and don't act like a little girl by commenting on spelling errors. The more likely reason that you do this is because you cannot come to grips that you just got schooled & checkmated by someone who cannot spell.

Well don't you think it is wierd that Obama doesnt wanna show his birth certificate?

posted on Jul, 22 2009 @ 02:11 PM

His birth certificate issue is really a moot point because technically Obama cannot be a natural born citizen due to Obama's father not being a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth.

Just because Obama might or might not have a Hawiian birth certificate is moot. Whether he has one or not does nothing to prove that he is a natural born citizen which is required by the Constitution.

Both parents must be citizens in order for Obama to be considered a natural born citizen. Obama's father had citizenship in either Kenya or in Britain at the time of his birth so Obama technically cannot be a natural born citizen hense Obama is illegally occupying the Presidency.

What you fail to see is that many of the Americans raising hell now were raising hell when Bush was in office.
Would you expect them to shut up now because your man is in office?

All these fake tea parties and fake fox news pundits talking trash are part of the plan to take this country down by having us fight each other instead of the true evil doers.

In regards to the Bush lovers who are now "concerned" I would agree that they are hypocrites as if George Bush was doing what Obama is doing you would not hear a peep.

Now the left has taken over for the right in terms of saying who is a good American and who is not.

Before it was terrorism now it’s saving the Earth and like good little peasants we hold every word the idiot box says sacred.

The problem is that Bush and Obama are owned by the same people.

Back to Obama, we know his supporters don’t care about his birth certificate or country of birth, as a matter a fact I would say much like the right wingers could care less what is done in their name as long as its their man doing it.

My countrymen are the most ignorant, uninformed group of people I have ever seen, it saddens me to say this but I fear you won’t care about anything until you get that late night knock at your door telling you and your family to get on a cattle truck.

Bush didn’t care about the working class and neither does Obama, the difference between Bush and Obama is the scale at which Obama is doing things.

September will be a big month for a false flag, watch critical thinking and common sense go right out the window

You know, if Obama was in fact born outside the United States, so what. It has already happened before. Remember your Founding Fathers whom were born in colonies but became Presidents once America was established? Who controlled those colonies: Britain. Ergo what nationality and subject was Washington when he was born? British. Your very first President was not American, he was British because he was born in a British Colony. So sad too bad.

So what if he's foreign? Maybe he'll do better than some of the homegrown crop. (I'm talking to you Bush)

Actually you're wrong.

If Barack Obama was born in a United States hospital in United States territory, that makes him American. It doesn't matter if his father had a Kenyan or British passport or no passport at all. On a birth certificate its just the name of the father not the father's homeland. His mother was American, thus if she had him while she was in America then he is AMERICAN. Its like how when a baby is born on an airline flight, if the American plane is in American airspace then the newborn is technically American having been born there regardless of whether the mother and father came from Paraguay or France or Jupiter.
