Make your own minds up, but know that the government NEVER acts to benefit the People. The US Govt. only acts to make the corporations, and the people involved with them more rich.

Keep in mind that when this becomes law that literally discussing topics will be illegal. Meaning much of the content on ATS will not be allowed. Think about it..... No more arguments, or people trashing your threads....ha ha ha. Really, the point is you won't be able to speak your mind.

More to the point something like this hate bill will stop discussions regarding countries like Israel, and their atrocities toward the Palestinians. Also, this will cram more of the diversity through equality 'crud' down all of our throats...... Let's face facts; Our diversities, and/or inequalities are what make this an interesting, and good world.....Of course it all comes with self responsibility.

Oh my God, you don't say!!!!???!!!! Did you know JFK was MURDERED 11-22-1963? Or 9-11-2001 they destroyed buildings killing thousands for THEIR gain? They lie all the time, they bail out their FRIENDS, media lies, and they do whatever they want. OH, then try to offer a judge money then say, "It is lobbying, that is all it is." See how far that goes. Instead, we cannot even SPEAK to our "representatives" who use the Constitution as toilette paper, yet lobbyists do whatever they want. Don't get upset or concerned now (sarcasm).

Could someone interpret this all this fear and paranoia and tell me what this guy is talking about? I looked at the link and it seems to be a lot of jesus people with their knickers in a twist over some such thing and asking for donations. I'm automatically suspicious of anything involving Focus on the Family or Christian leaders.

Every time a grass roots movement gets started, it is immediately labeled crazy and trashed by the main stream media until it falls apart and loses all political influence.

That's what big business media, the dems, and the repubs have given us. It's YOUR fault unless you don't call your representatives and senators and tell them what you think.

CALL YOUR FRIENDS, your REAL friends (not ATS members) and tell them to complain too. Vote together. Get people you know involved in politics -- vote every chance you get.

Learn something about American Government. If you don't know what "congress" is, or even that we have 3 branches of government, or what the president does on a day to day basis, who makes the laws, etc, then freaking learn it right god damn now, so this insanity ends.

Yes, this article seems a little 'leaned' toward red neck christian republicans.... I don't know what to say; other than the over all message of stop the Hate Bill, is what is important.

Not to many people are covering it, and this bill literally will define EVERYONE'S Rights regarding speech.

For the record I'm not a red neck christian republican. I'd like to consider myself a hardcore anarchist...... I believe in Natural Rights; such as our outlined in the Articles Of Confederation, and The Bill Of Rights.

Basically don't tread on me, and I won't tread on you, and this Hate Bill which is being piggy backed on another bill is doing just that.........Treading on all of OUR backs.

Well sir I am an angry demarcate and I could not agree with you more on the don't tread on me part! But the question is what will we do about this? I can tell you I don't think any one will do a dang thing about this my party is fastly becoming the party of lies and the party of dare I say communism well not communism like it should have been, more like stallions version of it angry and paranoid.

So I ask again what we can do. Who do we call when our congressmen are just spineless yes men and women?

Sure, What Do WE DO? I hear you on the entire political arena. The govt. is completely out of control; doesn't matter which one, up/down, left/right, backwards/forwards........They are all scheming their million dollar pensions, or lobby provided secret accounts.

We end up in the grand bottom of the trash pile; in this game.

I try to do my part. The PTB, and the puppets of government are an extremely small bunch. The puppets of power either democrats, or republicans are 'expendable'; in regards to the overall control game plan.

We The People do have the power of OUR sheer massive numbers.

Here are thoughts of what could be done. Find, and post everywhere you can regarding this Hate Bill. Post post post some more. Talk to your neighbors. If they don't care, then talk to the next guy, then the next, and so forth.

Keep going. Don't stop. I know many people are protesting by trying to limit the amount of money they are feeding the machine.

Possibly some are taking their money out of the "machine" banks. Other's might not be paying all their taxes. I know many people are wearing clothing apparel, and/or crashing parades with banners; which should incite thought. I think there are many avenues of fighting, and standing up. Call your rep. Leave a message should the bast*rds not answer; as they won't. Send them letters.

The puppets do Scare. They know they are the frontline against We the Masses.

Let them decide whether they'll work for us, or will continue to enslave We The People.

It leads to only a couple of outcomes. Live Free Standing On Your Feet, Or Slowly Dying Living On Your Knees; being told what to do, and when.

I've wanted for a long time to press for RICO charges against all these bast*rds. Especially the entire 'episode' of the "Bush Regime".

I suppose we'll do what animals the world over have done for time immortal when their backs are against the wall: Submit or fight. It's guaranteed we'll die either way. The better question is, which way would we prefer to die?

I for one am in the military so my position is even further complicated by the fact that I don't know if I can support what my government is doing, I am not saying im for the people of America to go all bang bang crazy or my self for that matter, that is not the case here.
I feel that we must try every means in our power to right the wrongs done to the common man and woman in this country peacefully.
Long before we cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war as it were, however on the outer hand what recourses is there but that?

I can give you examples..........You look at porn which is not regulated by 2257 compliance, and that's a felony. Many states have online gambling laws; such as Washington State.........
