Ok lets try an experiment in equality then.

Go to your local town hall and fill out an application to organize a parade that celebrates millenia of heterosexuality. You will probably be rejected at this point even if you were backed financiallly by many local businessmen.

Say your application is approved, have the people in your parade dressed scantly in questionable apparrel while squirting each other with water guns that resemble genetalia. Allow people to make sexual guesters at each other and even allow for dry humping. Allow the people in your parade to make sexually explicit comments on microphones and loadspeakers.

Now sit back and wait for the police to arrest you and every member of your parade and watch as you and everyone else get charged with extreme public indecentcy.

Equality? Strait, white men dont know what that is anymore. Special interest groups have ensured that we are the biggest minority on the planet.

Its not about giving over your power, its just about human decency to allow people to have access to to the same rights as you, and if barking that down a loud speaker is a way to get a point across, then its marketing that works.

It is of my utmost concern that we have all taken a steep fall for this ideology that 'one gender/race/stereotype can illuminate over another'. The problem did not begin with homosexuality, nor did it begin with heterosexuality, however I must deter the conversation for the topic's sake.

In continuance, the idea that homosexuals are somehow overpowering, if you will, the heterosexuals is not a valid and solid conclusion to close the books on. (Well, I wouldn't bet my top dollars on that, anyhow)

We witnessed the same conclusions at the revolutionary times of establishment of equality and anti-slavery. Of course, some people still feel that this is not complete, however it is to the same effect that some people felt that the once-suppressed are now "bouncing back" with more force than they were given to begin with. It's simple suppression.

Of course this idea that homosexuality is moral/immoral is of a religious nature, giving the 'nature of the doubt' because in any case, it is natural to inquire. We just wont be inquiring on that topic as of now.

I'll be honest, gay guys creep me out a bit and trannies REALLY creep me out. Awhile ago, I ran into a trannie that worked at a clothing boutique where I was doing some drywall work. He/she/it ??? was just scarey looking... 6 ft 2 or so tall, dark black, giant Diana Ross wig, BRIGHT red lipstick, deep voice... I can honestly say that he/she was really nice and polite but until I broke the ice, he/she just freaked me out.

The reason I'm telling you all this is that even though I find them unnerving a bit, I would fight for their right to be who they are.
If you need to, feel free to go so far as to downright hate them BUT, keep in mind, there are other people who may feel the same way about who you are and what you do.

So back to the question...
Why can't we all just have a live and let live policy?

You missed the point entirely. Im not trying to start a new parade, im talking about how special interest groups have so deeply embedded themselves into politics that they now have special rights that far exceed what people who are not considered to be a part of that particular group are allowed to do, and still they complain. Gays say they have it so bad and yet you see them in every aspect of popular culture, not to mention the distasteful acts they are allowed to perform in public that strait people cannot.

I know alot of people who tend to hate homosexuals not because of their sexual preference but because the of embarrassing and distasteful manner in which many of them act and dress and of how little class some of them seem to have in public.

If immigrants coming to your country have to respect and adapt to the way of life in that country then why cant people with a different sexual preference who already reside in that country do the same?

No, being accepted wasnt enough for the community however, they also want to rule over popular culture and fasion as well. And yet still the whining persists.

I am actually NOT attempting to be humorous here.

I have always felt that Other Men being Homosexual was of a direct benefit to my life.

Anything that removes Good looking, Intelligent men from the Breeder statistics can only work to up my value as a hetero sexual man.

I have to maintain, that an obsession with anti Homosexual thought is a certain sign of self repression because wishing for competition from other Males is NOT a Hetero Sexual behavior.

It is simply if I can not release my Gay tendencies than neither can anyone else

Often you will see, the same people who have an Obsession with Homosexuals have the same Obsession with Blacks and Jews... I have to insist from a place of certainty that, it is Jealousy, either materially or sexually that drives this... Jealous of the sex they have, repression of the sexual attraction or envy and frightful of the Intellectual capacity and material wealth of those in question alternatively.

It's all about self repression and reproductive fears.. It is very scary for some men, who fear if they indulge in a homosexual act or even evidence any predilection to try that they will be Branded and unable to reproduce, a prime reason for many men who are Gay to remain in the closet

And I am sure when repressed the CAUSE of such rationalized hatreds.

Just what exactly do we get away with that you cannot? I happen to find really fat chicks in spandex disgusting, but nothing I can do about it! I think it's tasteless to go out to a nice restaurant and watch some dude with his hand up his dates skirt while I'm trying to eat. Mardigras there has been doing what you dissaaprove of for hetros for far longer, in fact the hetros invented that kind of nude parading, so Im not sure why you bring the point up.

Well it's nice to see some enlightening comments in this place.

I agree with you, it didn't start with homosexuality or heterosexuality, it started with religious supremacy and white supremacy thereafter.

And it won't end with homosexuality either, if we get what we rightfully deserve as human beings.

The sad fact is that there will always be people who are going to be oppressed and there will be ones doing the opressing.

We are creatures of habit and instinct after all, and well our instinct as humans is mostly to kill, maim and steal it seems. Know that differs from my view of love and generosity but, they'll come around eventually.
