Nah actually it's cool man. My best friend was in Iraq and he always tells me "you'd never understand what it's like." I totally see where you're coming from, and honestly if I was in your shoes I probably would have said a lot worse, lol.

I feel kind of bad for getting you mad, to tell you the truth. I have great respect for you for having the guts to join the military. Seriously, I mean it, you and your sister deserve a lot more respect in the media than a certain unmentionable dead celebrity does.

I think it's a classic case of arguing for the sake of arguing, and I'm kind of in need of a cigarette anyway. Hey it was fun man.

I apologize, and really I have had to deal with homosexuals on a daily basis in some of my jobs, and I just learn to get along with them and try not to discuss their lifestyle. The vast majority of them are decent people that just want peace and quiet, and want to enjoy life. I just get really mad when things happen like Mrs. California losing her crown for having an opinion that the media disagrees with.

But don't be surprised that it goes right over the heads of the intended audience.

Being gay isn't normal - it is a genetic defect (in most cases). Gay people can't stop being gay - and because it is who they are, they aren't likely to want to stop being gay.

The fact is, the genetic defect is probably random - and if they don't have children - then it will not increase in the population.

If gay people make some children in the old fashioned way - I am not against it - I mean how gay are they really? If they have children artificially then we may have a problem.

As far as what they are as people - well, to me - they are just different - as different as everybody else.

haha yeah I know exactly what you mean (you are talking about michael jackson, right? I am sick of seeing him on the news too).

I completely understand your view points and I even understand where you are coming from, I just don't exactly agree with all your views, however some of them I actually kind of do, to be honest (I saw you mention public displays of affection and stuff like that in another part of the thread, I don't like seeing that stuff either, and there where a few other things I agree with)..

Anyways, I've got caught up so much in arguing on here that I just looked at the clock and I am supposed to be work in 20 minutes!! And I live an hour away from work, I am a idiot, lol.

First we have anit-sexual descrimination laws in this country.

This means you can not discrimnate agaisnt someone based on their sex.

To deny a marriage license to a gay couple because one of them is not a differant sex is sexual descrimination pure and simple.

Now personally I think these people are very confused individuals. If you like women why are you dating a woman that acts like a man. If you like men why are dating men that act like women. These poeple are very confused individuals. Also the way they are so proud to be gay is very wierd. Why is it necessary to flaunt your sexuality to everyone. I am proud to be American but I don't tell everyone I meet and shout it from rooftops.

However, we can not deny them a marriage license without violating our sexual descrimination laws. No debates, no laws, no parades, this is the law and rights should be protected weather you like it or not.

Regardless of which two people are working together, the tax bracket should be the same for Straight or Gay, tax write offs and shelters should apply to people that are working regardless of whom they are combining property with under binding contract of state.

I don't know, it's so crazy that people actually think a piece of paper is what marries them. I mean one would have to realize that "marriage" recognized by the state, is for taxation only and has nothing to do with truth....it bugs...


True marriage is exactly what it says. Two become one....When you have a child, you are truly married....that's the truth, till death do you part.

My goodness this thread has gone awry. It's almost like watching a crowd jeer each other into a fight.

Gay people are no different, considering the world is non-uniform. Humans are a plethora of weirdness. Strange and colourful, odd and unique.

It is human nature to see something different and fixate upon it. This is not a regulated action; be you a hippy, ethnic, gay or religious. People are just that way.

Which is why I often have been at the receiving end of it myself, for other reasons. Yet, EQUALITY in the eye of the community is all that SHOULD be required.

I don't know many people who want to bash down the doors of homosexuals and arrest them for their private and lifestyle choices. Unlike myself, who has had this occur.

I don't know many people who go out of their way to berate or attack homosexuals - and those that do, are ignorant and intolerant, a brush applied to EVERY aspect of life. These people don't care if you're gay, black, a dope fiend, a hippy, a whale or a hog. They are not worth the effort in arguing with.

The focus should not be on Me Myself and I. But on ANY inequality.

If the argument is equality, focus on that. Don't distract the argument with emotive claims. Any discrimination against someone based on sexual preference is illegal, at least in the modern world.

It is the law that needs to change, not attacking the average ned flanders. They're so easy to ignore it is not worth the effort attacking them.

Reasons being,becuase of the children, a child needs a father figure and a mother figure,not just one, the # those children goe thru at school aswell,its not good at all for a childs development and creates issues., gays can be in love,but shouldnt be allowed to adopt or have children and bring them into there gay relationship. my 2 cents.

Straights get to go visit there wives and lovers in the hospital if there sick or dying. Gays don't get to do that under the current laws. So how would you like it if someone told you straight folk you can't visit your dying lover. YOU BE UP IN ARMS, yelling, etc. Thats the simple equality gays/lesbians do not get in the world today. Get your facts right before you start blabbing hate.
As for having kids, thats up to you straight folk. What you never heard of RUBBERS. Your the ones over populating the planet.

One thing about this bothered me. You talked about how straight people have kids, and I take it as you were basically saying that raising kids is just a chore and stuff like that.. that comment REALLY bugged me big time. Having children is a beautiful thing, and sorry to say, but you are messed up in the head if you don't think it is. From conception all the way through pregnancy to the birth, it is the most BEAUTIFUL and most PURE thing on the entire planet.

I have a daughter and my wife is pregnant with another kid and we LOVE AND ARE DEVOTED TO OUR DAUGHTER and our upcoming child.....

I can not think of anything more beautiful and joyful on all of earth than raising my beautiful daughter with my beautiful wife. I was completely lost in life before my kid. I am a marine and was shot in iraq, and sent home, only to go back there another year later (its a long story, but I received a honorable discharge a while back, so as far as I know am I not going back there EVER!).. I am also a former drug addict and gang member. I also lost my sister who was pretty much my best friend.

Having my child and marrying my wife solved ALL OF THESE problems that I had (except my sister, nothing will bring her back). My life is beautiful now. It was literally a miracle. I should seriously be dead by now, I have no idea how I am alive. And I seriously think the blessing of having our daughter and marrying my first, and only love (my wife obviously) saved my life. I literally just kicked all drugs, got away from the gangs, moved out of the projects, got away from THAT WHOLE LIFE STYLE when I married my wife. I COMPLETELY turned my life around, and now its some years later and i'm still sober and I am EXTREMELY sucessful (I am a self taught programmer and CGI artist, and I recently got my DREAM JOB).

So please don't suggest that raising children is not a blessing and a JOY. Because it is and there are people like me who would literally be DEAD if they never had a kid. I am happy to spend my money on my child, only a greedy BASTARD would complain about having to pay for their kid from 1-18. Hell, I support my wife too, and I ENJOY IT! She stays home with the kid (7 months from now we will have another one.) Pretty much EVERY SINGLE CENT I have goes to my daughter (we are saving for her college education) and towards things we need for the house, and I am happy with that, I don't need money for anything. What do I need money for? I don't care about material items or anything. I make enough money to pay for a nice condo and food and every other thing that we need. I have everything I need right at home, my lovely daughter and beautiful wife. I need nothing else in life.

Anyways now its back to work for me and sorry for the long rant. I noticed I tend to be ranting quite a big recently on this site, lol.

And if any of you have ever read my posts on here before you might have noticed I talk about this stuff a lot, well the reason is is because I am EXTREMELY proud of what I've done with myself and I like to "brag" about it any opportunity that I get. I used to be a loser, and I am the opposite of a loser now. And one more thing. If sometimes in my posts I come off as being "dumb" it is because I was shot in the side of my face in iraq, and I have brain damage from that. So please excuse me if I come of as "dumb" sometimes! Because I really am not stupid person at all. It is just that certain parts of my brain that process information do not work right. There is no organized "gay agenda". This is simply how oppression frees itself. Look at black people in America. For years they were held back, their rights destroyed, their culture mocked, and so on. Then, once the civil rights movement kicked in, and blacks started standing on more equal footing with their white brethren, the counter attack began. Black comedians today rip hard on the white man. White people can be called cracker and honkey and no one bats an eyelash.

The end goal is certainly equality, but when a minority group is oppressed for so long, the natural human reaction is to let angry emotions take control and push back on the oppressors. This is how it works.

All I can tell you is to hang on. Eventually the fire will burn down to embers and the onslaught of gayness will fade. And let's be honest, do you really believe that any of this will actually "turn America gay"?
