Not knowing something is one thing, making exuses such as " I'm tired, had a long day at work" etc, doesn't fly with me.
You can catch me on my most tired and worn out day, after working a 60 hr week and I will still be able to tell you why we celebrate the 4th.
Those B.S. exuses don't cut it. If you don't know, then you don't know, PERIOD. What makes it worse is the B.S. exuses that people offer.
Anyway, I would still like to know if she's the only one.

Funny how men can exhibit their knowledge and intelligence, yet they can't go to the doctor or ask for directions.

FYI I was in sales covering my entire state and did not have the luxury of GPS. If I had a hang-up with humbling myself and asking for directions me thinks I would still be on the road wandering aimlessly.
I personally can answer ANY question that I know the answer to at ANY time of day or night, weather fully awake, falling asleep, just waking up, or dead tired from working a 60 hr week. But hey, maybe that's just me?
The point of the thread before it got derailed is to find out how many people out there have no clue why we celebrate the 4th.
I don't need any man bashing from any mouthy women who are pissed that they didn't know either. This isn't about trying to stick up for one of your own or make excuses for ignorance. It is about educating yourself and the ones you love.
If there is someone in your circle who doesn't know such basic fundamental information such as why do we celebrate the 4th then it is your duty to inform the ignorant. Only by doing this will the ignorant masses, (and humanity for that matter), stand a chance.
