If Jackson is/will dead/die, I can people treating this like Elvis--"Michael didn't die! He just wanted to fulfill his dream of working for Playschool toys!" Or something like that. Imagine being one of those people that paid big bucks for one of his shows in London. Man.

As a former paramedic if you are nothing breathing for 20 minutes and your brain has no oxygen for that long you will suffer massive brain damage and either A) pass away or B) very good chance you will be a vegtable in coma and never awake again

He's dead according to TMZ -- and they are usuallyu right when it comes to celebrity stuff.

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

People who are in cardiac arrest generally do not survive unless CPR has been administered within 4-6 minutes. They don't get oxygen to the brain and everything stops.

The chances of medical personnel arriving AND initiating treatment within 4-6 minutes in a metropolis like LA are very slim.

If you have one of those newer phones that allows you to surf the net, I suppose you could go to the ATS mobile site and check what people are saying on this thread from there.

MSM is reporting him dead now. At least there is some justice in this world. I have never liked the man and what he has done.

Multiple sources say he has died, but multiple sources are also saying he's in a coma. I'm just going to wait another hour or two until one of the sides gets more solid.

No he can't die! that's like a nightmare!
I knew I was nervous a few weeks ago for some reason!
