A true legend. R.I.P Michael.

Cannot believe some people still believe hes a paedophile.

I cant believe people think he is not.

What make's more sense some wacked out performer that has a peter pan personality problems who didnt want to grow old that basicly built his own kiddy theme park and enjoyed the company of kids (not his) being a peadophile

OR

A mother convincing her child to falsely accuse MJ or being a nonce? and claiming money for it? i am a parent myself and the thought of asking my child to do that just dont compute?

Lets face it though, there are probably more whacked out parents out there than celebs. I can totaly see some parents doing this if it meant they get $20,000,000 from it. Some people have no morals at all.

I'm on the fence as far as what he did with kids. he wasn't convicted so we'll have to leave it at that, then again if you are of sound mind you do not invite kids to your house and sleep with them...period!

That said, why do you give $20,000,000 to someone you did nothing to?

If you look at his life and people around him though, i can understand why he'd prefer the company of kids though. Kids are pretty much genuine at the end of the day, adults are not.

I don't think he'd have physicaly made it through a tour, wouldn't suprise me if he was very much persuaded by many that wanted to make a bit of cash from it.

The reason of the tour was the promise of the sponsors to take care of his debt, they also promised to take care of Never land and bring it back to his former splendor, he agree with that, the tour would have save his fortune and his finances will have been fixed.

Fox news is talking to a TMZ representative at the moment. He is saying that it was little known that MJ had an addiction to prescription medicine that was mostly kept from the public. Morphine is one of the drugs mentioned.

Also that he had a "masive" dose of morphine given to him just before he died.

If true, who administered that then if the family doc wasn't there?

What about the "massive" dose? I can understand someone giving themselves a huge dose, but not someone else unless it was for more sinister means.

Yes i know you might give someone a larger than prescribed dose if they were in a lot of pain, but that depends on who's administering it. How would they know the consequences of that larger dose?

Interesting one, hopefully they'll get the post mortem results today. Not sure how long toxicology takes though?

To be honest I am surprised it didn't happen sooner.
Didn't he just get a cancer scare too not long ago?
RIP Wacko Jacko.

PS: Jackson 5 tickets now 20% off.

I believe that it wasn't morphine but Demerol, the same kind of pain killer found on Elvis after his death alone with many other substances.

I'ts a shame when anyone dies, and more of a shame when someone with so much talent dies. I've never been what you'd call a fan of MJs, but he was a good songwriter, and a dynamo of a performer. He brought a little happiness to a lot of people with what he did, and should be missed for that.

I think a 50 show tour would look quite daunting to a 50 year old man,

That would depend on the man, I think. Some get burned out on the whole touring thing at an early age, and some just keep on going. I know that David Allan Coe, at 70 years old, still plays over 300 shows a year without the "superstar" amenities. Not a fan of his, either (grouchy old buzzard), but you've got to hand it to the the old guy.

Rest In Peace Micheal Jackson

Let us also not forget Ferra Fawcett

Rest In Peace Ferra Fawcett

Two at the same time... Bad news for sure. Not great news when anyone dies, celebrity or not.

Michael Jackson was an artist. He will be remembered as a great like Andy Warhol, Gene Kelly, Martha Graham and Walt Whitman...a true original who made the world a more beautiful place.

His art was experienced by many on a nearly global scale.

Jackson forever changed American popular music. First with the music video. He had directors like Scorsese and Spielberg direct his videos. People could not wait for them to be released. He raised the bar for the entire music industry.

His dance was another area where he influenced modern culture. His sensual and staccato rhythms were new and exiting, but still borrowed from the familiar with influences from Jerome Robbins and other great choreographers. Hip Hop artist today extol Jackson's creativity.

His style had a direct influence on fashion. When he wore the loafers and socks, so did the rest of the wold. He wore military inspired clothing, with hardware and medals, then that became popular. And of course the red leather jacket with the zipper.

He was acquitted of all charges of inappropriate behavior with children. I believe he was psychologically immature and never hurt any child. May God bless him.

First of all, I pray that Allah bless MJ soul and place him among heavenly saints. Michael (Mikaeel) Jackson embraced Islam on Nov 21 2008. MJ is a champion in love towards children, nature and peace.

Autopsy to ascertain cause of death... Lets see if the NWO will blame H1N1...
then majority of MJ fans will give in to vaccination.

It wasn't that secret that he had a prescription drug issue. Doesn't everyone recall the day he fumbled into court wearing pajama bottoms, looking completely loopy, having to hang on someone for support?

As far as the accusations, if there was any one person I could believe that could sleep with young children and not molest them, it would be him. He was so out of touch with reality, it's not funny. I remember stories like: when he wanted to go shopping, they'd rent the entire store, he'd have it to himself. And he'd ride the carts, and act like a kid.. even in his late 30s. He was so detached from reality.. and was stuck in his own childhood for so long into his adulthood, it's hard to say if he would actually abuse someone or not. But... even with all that said, I rather think he was guilty. We'll never know for sure tho.

But regardless of what he did, he was still a great talent and entertainer, there is no doubt.

I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, he taught me to think of the worlds problems even as i was a child. He taught me i had power to change things through his heartfelt art and music.

Thank you Michael Jackson for the life you blew into my childhood. I am devastated and heartbrokened. As you die, the world i grew up in died, and with you dies a source for change in the world.

Thanks for everything. I hope you are in a better place recieving compensation for the sacrifice you made for us.

Goodbye legend.

Just for the record, MJ's first molestation scandal was in 1993. This song was made in 1996.

Now that you've mentioned it, though, this album received virtually no airplay in the West after Scream. Even though it was quite popular here in Asia at that time. Could it be that this song and Earth Song touched a nerve with the TPTB and they instructed that MJ be ignored after this?

This is and isn't a sad story.

Growing up I loved Michael but over the years he obviously took a downward spiral.

For me the Michael I loved died many years ago. The guy who died yesterday was that closet phedopile freak show. He can burn in hell.
