We have common causes then. I've been trying to get Americans to see what they're doing for years now, since I realised 911 was an inside job. Something of which there is far more proof and evidence that MJ's accused pedophilia.

But apples and oranges. While I don't like to idolize anyone, Micheal Jackson was Micheal Jackson, he had a huge impact on music, I liked most of his songs and he will be missed. Tens if not hundreds of millions of people think like me. He got protest songs onto mass media. Yes, there were questions, but when push comes to shove a little bit of the music died today, and that is something to mourn, regardless of everything else that will still be here tomorrow.

I think MJ was slandered and dragged through the hell of peer pressure for just being himself. I think that probably there was nothing wrong with him, he was just too kind and loving a spirit to relate to adults, and in this evil world that was his undoing. But that was also the source of his immense talent and that has touched most of us. I can admit the possibility I'm wrong and he's a darker figure than I think, but can you, and others who think like you, admit the possibility he was wronged and is better than most of us?

Can you do that and see how out of place your posts are on the day he left this world?

Lol Blaine a Vegan so he dies young... get some reality...

Amazing how all those hindus and such like and mainly vegan diets in China for thousands of years survived...

The amount of oxygen this guy soaked up, operations done, strange pills and potions etc etc...

Anyhow.... Back on topic...

Well a few things are for sure....

The music industry has lost one of its greatest icons and performers....

Children are a lot lot safer now.....

    Chimpanzees too.....

If you fancy a theme park in America all to yourself and can still afford it after the "Bubble" well you should get a bargain.....

Oh I will send my prayers to his spirit to be healed as can, and my real sympathies are with his family and ones that are hurting who knew him tonight....

But in the time you have read this and probably got angry and upset if you are fan.... well on average,

Two Children has died in Africa or the third world due to starvation!
and will continue to do so every 30 seconds from now.....

WFP

More fcats on Daily non Famous deaths

His racial heritage that he tried so hard to deny, change and twist so he could fit in and be part of us in the West the money success and labels... all whilst his genetic stock were and continue to die in droves....

The Chimpanzee pets he loved having for a short while but then abandoned when his new "toy" was no longer interesting are a step closer to extinction....

Save The Chimp It is Becoming Extinct Fast!

Now THESE things do make me sad and upset....

Sniff...

With the amount of money he donated to charities constantly and the amount of charities he sponsored, he’s probably helped more children of the world that you could ever do.

What have you done for them or contributed to the world lately?

I also revel in the fact that when a bomb explodes in Baghdad and kills 60 people nothing happens, no interviews from people talking about how horrible it is, no outcry, no one gives a damn.

No one gives a damn about much really....

The United States bombs a sovereign country we are not at war with and kills 16 people... no one cares, barely a blip on the news.

16 people..... wonder how many "in memory of" shows we'll see for them.

One guy dies, just one, and all of the sudden everyone stops to catch their breath.

You call me a hater? My empathy does not stop at the end of a celebrities life.

Nobody gives a damn is what you say, but how do you know?

I've always thought that it's strange that the media acts like an american/british life is worth more than the many people who die in other countries. Your not the only one who's noticed this.

Your not the only one with empathy for the world. I get depressed daily thinking about the world as it is, I have to focus on the "positive" to feel good, or life is not worth living!

The ONLY reason there is a big thread about micheal jackson, is because everybody knows about him! Most people don't personally know about the 60 people who died in bagdad. But Micheal Jackson's life touched most of our lives in one way or another, so OF COURSE people are gonna talk about it!

That does not mean that people think his life is worth more than any random guy anywhere in the world. It's simply the price to pay for being famous.

Now let's all relax and chill.

Peace.

Public forum, end of story. And welcome to ATS, always good to meet new people.

ON TOPIC:

I heard of this at work, was kinda shocked. Know the feeling you get when some thing big catches you off guard, like when Steve Irwin died? Yeah I didn't believe it at first but this is life.

I wasn't a big fan of his but he was an icon in his younger years. May he rest in peace.

I heard a cute joke earlier.
99% of people have tried to moon walk at least once in their lives and will admit it, the other 1% are liers!

I felt quite shocked when I found out - but only because it was so close to his 'this is it' (how ironic) tour. Can see why some people thought it could be hoax, although Im not sure he could have possibly had anymore publicity surrounding these final concerts anyway!

It is sad that he's died, I loved his music. But cant say I'll be losing any sleep over it.

I find it quite disturbing how many people claim to be 'devastated' and actually shedding tears. You didnt know the guy! Its like when that jade goody died, everyone suddenly started claiming that they will miss her alot, and how sad they felt... I can understand feeling sad for the celebrity thats died, but seriously - for all intents and purposes they are a stranger, you probably liked a few of their songs/tv shows, and when there was an article about him in the paper you'd read it. Doesnt add up to people reacting like its a close family member who's died.

But yes, back on topic... Why the hell was he even rehearsing for these concerts if he clearly wasnt up to it? He must have been pretty run down/exhausted to have a heart attack. You'd think him being as famous as he is, and the skin cancer issue people would be keeping a close eye on him & not letting him push himself too much. Guess not.

Last post regardless of all the Michael lovers. In my eyes he was clearly a pedophile if your really that naive to think he wasn't thats your problem but I would like to ask one question: Would you accept being tied down and thrown into a room where only you and Michael Jackson would be???? (Clearly this is for the male posters.) I think anyone who answers "I would" is clearly lieing but whatever thats just me, enjoy grieving I know I'll be happy as clam.

Even on the news just moments ago they made a joke about how kids will be safer now. What a crock of #, he was never charged and although I was never a fan he still was legendary no matter how you look at it. It just seems wrong that people can look past his death and make a joke like that.

Who is anybody to judge him when his alive let alone judge him the day of his passing? Look at yourselves and see how "great" you are for society.

For what it's worth, although people love to give the ol' company line of "omg 60 people died in a bomb blast.. why the big deal?!"... but, he was an icon. A great entertainer. Of course it's going to get a lot of media. Stop getting bent out of shape on it. Just ignore all media if it bothers you that much. It'll blow over in a couple of weeks, and you can go back to doomin' and gloomin' and can get outraged when people you don't know get oppressed.

He was addicted to prescribed drugs, now that is going to be the first thing that the police is going to check about.

Still I am truly sad, taking into consideration that as a music star he is going into history for his contribution to pop music.

As one of the best seller of all time with his album "Triller".

I can imagine that his funeral will be equal to that of a president due to the faithful fans that regardless of his flaws still idolized him.

I can not wait to see a review of all those video music that will be popping all over the channels.

The 80s was a very meaningful time in my life and occurs music has a lot to do with memories.

I think that what else people don't understand is that Michael Jackson bought a lot of joy, hope and happiness to BILLIONS of people WORLD-WIDE his whole career up until this very day and his legacy will continue to do so for many more years. He tried everything possible to be happy himself but those who had issues with him would just keep trying to knock him down. I think he would be happy now.

I'm bothered by his death one bit. One less pedo in the world. Honestly, how can people criticize the man but when he dies, you admire him?

He was a plastic piece of work who hurt children. Granted, he had some catchy tunes, but he's not worth a damn tear.

This isn't a "is MJ a pedophile?" thread. Don't you at all feel inhumane for saying that somebody isn't "worth a damn tear" in the same thread where people pay their respects?

If you feel so strongly that what he was accused of he actually did then make a thread and put up facts. I don't know if he did or didn't do anything, but it doesn't matter today because he's passed on and it shouldn't be something that is joked about or talked about on the day of his passing. That's just my 2 cents.

This man should be remembered for great musical achievements.

We do not know what the truth is about the molestation allegations. What we do know is that he was found Not Guilty.

Whatever happened there, only Michael Jackson really knows. I just hope people remember this man for the amazing talent he brought to the world.

Only God can judge you Michael. RIP

Yes, exactly. We don't know the truth, no one in this thread knows the truth, but what the courts said is that he didn't do it. I would never have thought about saying hurtful things about MJ on the day of his passing and I've never even been a fan of his music. I can just see the happiness that his bought to so many people world-wide.
