I also really worry about being out in the middle of nowhere with my family....refugees.

Let's hear some good ideas folks.


I hear ya, I have 3 kids 10, 6 and 6 mos and a 10 year old step daughter. We live on a budget and it's not like we can afford to drop a few grand on survival supplies. I think if a SHTF situation happens there will be a lot of families screwed.

In a power down situation how many people do you think would be manning the nuclear power plants? I think there is a real possibility of having them go up should it be a real shtf situation.
