ATS Avatars - Describe Yours, How was done, maybe we see which is the best :)

I really appreciate a lot of Avatars here at ATS and I can see most of them were really well done, with a lot of effort...some of them are nice but the meaning is quiet hard to understand.


My avatar history is very simple....

I chose Heineken as for the username since I love beer very much...having my primary interest in Ufology i quick looked for heinbeken+ufo in google and came up with this...i was very lucky indeed because actually i like it very much...also i did receive some U2U's saying they like it very much.

I welcome you all to post abit of info on your avatar..like the meaning, how it was done, how much you love it...if there are more you really like.

I know how much the Avatar means to you and would like you to share that

I love you avatar by the way, it's awesome, I thought about putting the coors body paint chicks on mine but i'd be banned immediately, just look itup on google, and you'll see, but it's BA.

I have Scooby Doo, because, well, I'm Scooby Doo.

I snagged a 3D model and used photoshop to create my logo. It represents a person dreaming reality, as that is what we are currently all doing. Dreaming right now.

mine is a paint can graffitid onto a wall with a overlay of a picture of space
no real meaning to it apart from i enjoy the art of graffiti and the universe

I found my guy in a watercolour painting. I cut him him out & changed him around a bit. The computer chip in his head means he's a thinker. His enigmatic expression means he's a bit unpredictable. I've also used him succesfully for the promotion of some high-tech stuff I'm involved with.

Very good thread indeed. I think I will enjoy keeping up with this one, as the subject is a lot of interest to me.

My avatar: found while searching post apocalyptic mask art - used to represent my user name. Blind.face: it really has two meanings- 1)most are blind to what is clearly in front of them. The other- my choice to remain anonymous while spending time on the net. blind (can't see).. face (my face).

I was a lurker for well over two years before I joined ATS. Then I found her. she inspired me to open an account. My screen name just popped out at me then I checked on the net for the meaning(I am a little french).

Hula is an Hawaiian grass skirt or dancer + Anglers, fisherman's setup + [atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/c8f3a45a9e36.jpg[/atsimg] it took about a half an hour for everything to come toghether.

I change avatars often I find it tempers my input, Lets see how using my own pick affects my writing...

Wow to most avatars here on ATS, but Kudos to heineken I always get a chuckle when I see this Avatar

I've changed my avatar a few times as well..; I get bored easily-

However, they all share the "basic plutoxgirl theme"

For now, I'm sticking with this one, - (despite the fact of being very simple..., it portrays me pretty good!): "Death" (from the Sandman).

Hey everyone x

Well mine i made myself, I mixed an image of me and summer flowers.
this represents the time of year and something a little personal on there (Me)

And as always Gizmo is also there, Since the time i came to ATS nearly 6 years ago, my first avatar was that of the Gizmo character, It became something that many would find easy to find me with on the board while helping new members, they seen Gizmo and where like "Ahh thats Asala"

I kind of got used to having the wee fella about and its kinda nostalgic for me,

It keeps me in tune on when i first arrived here on ATS and reminds me that being new can be quite scary,

I have always been fascinated by faces and imagining what those faces tell us. I love what I see in the woman's face in my avatar. Strength, wisdom, compassion and a sense of humor. Of course it's just me projecting but, hey, "I Am Only Human".

No meaning or history to mine.. its just art and i enjoy creating avys, so they change quite often.lol..

AshleyD actually made my avatar for me. but ive made some of my own, they just dont look as good.

Oh I have a soft spot for Iamonlyhuman's Avi, the whole concept and the content she produces makes this world a better place!

Mine is one that I created in a 3D graphics program of mine. (Bryce) The ship is the E.S.S. Raven (one of my own creations), the ATS and BTS logos were imported and then extruded into the 3d Picture. The lines underneath were actually a set of waves that got a funky look about them.

As far as it represents? Not much other than a desire to hop into the Raven and head out and explore to see what's out there.
