What if it's a name of a person? Is Semis a name in some part of the world? I don't think this thing is all about trucks, though if you watched Jericho, you'd know that weapon delivery was done in trucks, not planes. Perhaps all of these things are some sort of a warning, disguised as fiction. You'd think that if there was credible intel on an impending attack, that there'd be better ways to disseminate that info than this, unless this method is being used as a way to avoid detection by certain people or groups.

I removed the %'s and plugged the remaining into a hex to string converter...not sure if i'm behind on this one but it translates to:

I don't think it is, cause hasn't the normal marketing campaign begun for that? Don't they usually do these viral marketing campaigns before they roll out the main marketing spots.

It makes me think of the Drone hoax. My original idea was that the Drone hoax was some young 3-D animator/artist trying to build his resume, by designing the photographs of the actual drones, and then (with the help of colleagues) initiating the hoax. Think of presenting that in a job interview. Something that got national attentio.

While this is completely different, if I were a recent graduate with a degree in marketing/advertising, this would be a cheap and effective way to build up my portfolio. Likewise, if it is the Telegraph's brainchild, it is most likely being used to present to potential business partners and client leads. They are monitoring the statistics, the response on the internet, and capturing screenshots, footage, etc. They probably even have posters in various forums helping to add fuel to the fire. Quite an undertaking, but not entirely impossible.
